Compared to eBay their prices were very reasonable. Since the winch has been sitting on the shelf for over three months they gave me a nice discount. When I opened it up to install it a little spring stopper fell out. It was broken and there wouldn't be a way to replace it. I took it back right away and after showing the problem, I received full refund. Not only are they very customer oriented but also their store is well organized with large selection of marine items. Great place to find something at a great discount, HOWEVER buyer beware. Try to examine an item in and out very thoroughly. Unfortunately there are people who try to sell broken items.

I have gone in multiple times and every single time one of the young ladies (Sol, Cece, or Mariah) at the register help me, they always seem to be sick. Are they allowed sick hours? Can they call off of work? UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Mariah helped me and she had no voice, meaning she COULD NOT talk at all! Sol was completely under the weather, she had mentioned to her coworker she was going to call off work but was denied. How is that possible?? Mariah, Cece and Sol can be coughing, sneezing, congested even and are at the front ringing people out and greeting them. I feel terrible for them! Lack of manners. Lin and Mariah C have probably the worst customer service to ever exist! Lin always gives me attitude for not having my Port Supply card ready for when I get to the front, I don't know if she notices, clearly I am busy shopping for what I need! Mariah C (store manager) probably one of the WORST store managers I've ever seen. Lets start with her having sick workers working! She has a very poor attitude, very mean, does not answer to what the workers are asking/saying to her. She needs to be evaluated ASAP. I feel so bad for the young workers who have to work under that poor management. I would never treat ANY of my employees the way she does, EVER! Low stock/inventory. I understand the need to support local brick and mortar retail and also am willing to pay a small premium for the convenience of obtaining a needed item "right now". I was inadvertently sent the wrong pump and reached out to them to get it resolved. With no questions asked, Sean was kind and gracious enough to replace the incorrect pump I received with a new one - which was far better than the one I ordered. That was something he did not have to do, but I was really thankful and grateful that he'd do that for me. My second, and more recent, purchase was last week, when I purchased another fuel pump from their store in Ventura. Once again, Sean was an absolute pleasure to talk to and he provided me with a truly stellar deal on my new pump [because the one I'd received from him earlier in the year had suffered a malfunction]. I even e-mailed him, after I got home later that day, to thank him for the deal he gave me and for his kind attitude. Despite the slight mixup with the first pump and the malfunction of the second, I think the guys at Quantum are truly amazing people. They stand by their products and are willing to go the extra mile to meet the needs of their customers, and I genuinely appreciate that. Also, I have to say that compared to the rest of Oxnard--the food in this particular area is definitely more expensive. And although I do not live here and I'm only reviewing as a visitor, I did live on the lake in Westlake Village and in time, would probably get super bored among the old and crunchy people who inhabit those buildings. For now, I'm awed and happy there's this gorgeous area to enjoy a run, hang out, grab a bite or be pretentious while I'm here. Go Oxnard! :)
