I had done one of these paint classes at a place before the pandemic shut everything down. A friend told me she ordered kits for her girls to do during the holidays. So I began my search and found Paint the Town. From booking the date to the painting selection, everything was SUPER easy!! They were always very responsive and detailed. I could not ask for an easier way to plan a party. The artist arrived and set everything up. He was fun and chill and rolled nicely with the "crowd". They offer so many different kinds of classes to include: Watercolor Acrylic Pour Resin Crafts Cake Workshops Ceramics Mommy & Me Crafts Storytime Ceramics and so much more.... They offer private parties or if you have your own group and you want to book a class, they offer that too. You can bring your own drinks to include wine if you like. They keep a monthly schedule that you can find online. You can book your class with ease. They offer a monthly 'Maker's Club' which will host a different craft each month. You can book by the month or by the year. Each of the monthly Meet Up's will take place on the 4th Thursday of each month from 6pm - 8pm. It was a bit of a short notice but Jessica (owner) was able to squeeze my daughter's birthday party group in with no problem. Jessica and Grace were very accommodating, attentive, and kind to our party guest. They have a nice section in the back of the studio for party groups with access to plenty of counter space and refrigerator if needed. There was plenty of room for our guest of 10 to work on their crafts. They also had great ceramic options to choose from at a very reasonable price. Such a cool experience for our 17 year old and her friends. There is parking available and nice scenic spots for cute photos nearby. I went with a group of friends to a Paint Nite event at Blue Mesa in Addison. They had a private room in the back for us, and there were probably around 40-50 "students" total. I would recommend that you get there earlier, especially if you have a large group, so that you can pick seats together and in the front where you can see all the action. The painting that we did was a moderate difficulty level, but I thought it wasn't that difficult and that the easy level would have been too easy. Our instructor was so much fun and laid back. One thing you have to understand before going to paint nite is that this is not going to be a real in-depth painting class. The instructor teaches you what colors to mix and how to put the paint on the canvas, and everything else is really up to you and your creativity. I enjoyed seeing how everyone else's paintings turned out and I was surprised at how different all the paintings were. At the end of paint nite, our instructor gave us a coupon code for 40% off future paint nite events. I'm itching to go to another paint nite and just have to find some friends to go with.
