Came in opening weekend when they were hosting their BOGO special. I arrive around 11, right before the crowds came. Service was friendly and efficient. I ordered the Italian and California Delight with special sauce on the side. The sandwiches took about 10 mins before they were ready. Since I ordered to go, you just wait around the counter until they call your name. Both sandwiches were good in size. Meat ratio was what you would expect. BOGO on their opening day. It's located in the AMC movie theatre shopping plaza on Poway x Community. We're thrilled to have a B&B so close to us! DO NOT EAT HERE! My family and I got really bad stomach illnesses/food poisoning. My wife and our youngest split a chicken club sandwich and felt it later that night and into the next day. My poor little 8 year old was doubled over and crying from the pain in his stomach. (The kid who didn't try the chicken was totally fine) I took a small bite to try it and my stomach is still messed up with the same symptoms a month and a half later. Walked in today and within 5 seconds cashier pounced to ask what I wanted to order (mental note: say hello and give me a few seconds to look up at the menu). Cashier (female, dark brown hair, amazing lashes) was super kind though! I ordered the most simple sandwich and when it came out it was cold (because I didn't ask for it warmed up) so I asked the male worker to warm it up please. He agreed but took minimum 15 mins until I had to go up and ask for it only for it to be sitting on the side the whole time. I went there on a busy day but the service was good and the wait was about 10 minutes for sandwiches, which isn't bad. Most sandwiches are around $10 and they're decently filling. I had the baja chicken and the flavor was good, however, it was a little on the greasy side. Considering the ingredients in it, it may be impossible to make it not greasy though. The inside of the restaurant is quite spacious and there's a bar near the patio with a good selection of beers on tap. I am super picky and unsure when it comes to beer, but the girl that worked there (iyana-thank you, again!) was so knowledgeable and helpful. Today I ordered a beef dip to-go, and when I opened the bag, the au jus was upside down so half the au jus leaked out and was a huge mess. It wasn't like it moved to the position it was in, whoever packed it literally turned the container upside down to fit it in the bag. Also, the online platform has a lot of glitches, which is unacceptable as this location does not answer phone. This is my second time at this location.The first time no problem. Today I went in with a friend about 1:15. The positive first: workers were super friendly and helpful. Sandwich was fine. The problem was the place was dirty. I had to ask for a table to be cleaned so we could be seated. All the tables were dirty! The floor was a mess. The place where they prepare the sauce cups behind the cashier had sauce spilled all over it. The worst part were the flies!!! They were everywhere. It was gross. When we arrived the front door was open letting in the flies even though they have nice A/C. I closed the door. Anyway if the Health Department happened to show up today I think their "A" rating would have been downgraded. First of all, I have to say that I absolutely love the sandwiches here. Especially the Turkado. I've been coming here for many years specifically the Del Mar location. But the last time we ordered, they not only got one sandwich wrong, both sandwiches were wrong! We didn't notice until we got the sandwiches home. They were on the wrong bread, they were the wrong sandwich fillings. We didn't want to spend the time and money getting back to the restaurant which is not that close to our home. Very disappointing.
