Really bummed with our Door Dash delivery. We ordered 4 sandwiches, with fees, etc.. $72.00 for 4 sandwiches. That doesn't bother me. B n B has great sauce with their sandwiches and we put in the notes extra sauce on top of the normal. 30 minutes later our order arrives and absolutely no sauce. Beyond the normal sauce missing, the extra sauce wasn't there. Pretty sad this wasnt checked by B n B or Doordash. $72.00 and we all missed the sauce. I called the location immediately and they seemed to not care, no one was a manager in charge. They transferred me to the bartender where I waited on hold for 5 minutes before I hung up. Note to anyone using the services for delivery, call B n B and confirm their packaging your order correctly for your delivery. Sucks! read more

I was at this Board and Brew yesterday and witnessed something that was very disturbing to me and my boyfriend. We were sitting in the establishment and 3 people walked in that looked younger. They ordered there food and tried to order some beer. The bartender asked them for their id's and immediately told them that they were fake and said something along the lines of I usually cut these up. The bartender then proceeded to mock them, laugh at them and was telling the other patrons in there very loudly that they had fake id's and continued to laugh at them. Well, long story short, we stayed and had a couple more drinks and finished our food. Right before we were leaving the kids came back with an adult with them. They then ordered a pitcher of beer and were denied again. The adult asked for the manager who then came out. He got them a pitcher of beer. Clearly the id's were in fact not fake. The bartender was completely out of hand and extremely rude. I work in customer service and would NEVER treat anyone the way she did nor would my co workers. I was so shocked at her behavior. It's fine if she didn't believe them, just give them their license back and go on with your business but to ridicule them in front of an entire restaurant is unacceptable. I certainly would not want someone like that associated with my business. read more

My family loves Board & Brew, we were so excited to have one nearby now. It's a great place to grab a sandwich and a beer, they also have games on and good music. Last weekend was Ladera Ranch Board & Brew's grand opening. It was understandably packed because the food is amazing, but the line moved quickly thanks to an efficient owner and team. I ordered my sandwich in a wrap to save the bread calories and my changes were greeted with 'no problem' and a smile. The LR B&B location is perfect! Lots of room inside and on the patio as well. Board and Brew is one of my favorite sandwich places. Their ingredients are ALWAYS fresh. And absolutely love their French baguette with my sandwiches. Every sandwich I've had has been 100% satisfying. In addition, they have an excellent selection of beers that pair nicely with any sandwich. Got to eat at this location during the first couple weeks of their opening and they exceeded my already high expectations. If you live around or just visiting the area, this is a good option for fresh, tasty, wholesome sandwich that is packed with good ingredients. I ordered vegi sandwich on sour dough bread. By default it come on squaw bread. The sandwich was stacked high with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, sprouts, avocados.... Got their secret sauce along with it. The sandwich was awesome, however I did not find the 'secret sauce' to be extraordinary. My take, no big deal over there, it's a matter of individual taste. They also have a variety of draft beers. Staff is nice, helpful and jovial. Patio seating is also a good option. Bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner. Surely coming back to have something different. read more

I'm so happy that there is a Board and Brew in Ladera! We used to drive out to Laguna Niguel when we would have cravings. My go to is always the Turkado (they really pack in the avocados), it's insanely good. Everything is fresh and the sourdough just hit right. Always get extra secret sauce, they are high in calories but makes your sandwich so delicious. It's great to have Board and Brew nearby but my poor wallet can't handle it. read more

Food was fine. We ordered sandwiches to go. We don't live in the area but were passing through. We planned a day at Esencia Sports park and thought sandwiches would be a good idea. When we arrived at park and unpacked food there were no sauces to go with the sandwiches. I think we enjoy the sauce more than the actual sandwich.. without the sauce it's a pretty bland tasting sandwich. I didn't understand why the sauces weren't put in the bag because I was observing a couple of the girls in the front just goofing around and I figured they weren't too busy so how did they get it wrong. I really hate writing reviews. So, I can't discount the food and beers being pretty darn good, however, what I just witnessed will likely stop me from every returning to the location. A couple walked into the restaurant with their little dog. It's a restaurant, so strike one. Someone should have sent the dog outside to the patio. Not only did that not happen, the girl who was handing out the food, pet the dog, then went right back to work! At least wash your hands! Meanwhile the dog was straining to get to people while standing right next to trays of cookies that were not covered. Abhorrent.
