However, kindly note that for some electronic devices you're better off comparing prices for them online or at other stores as I found far more reasonable deals for them elsewhere. I'm not a fan of big box stores, so when my husband happened across this local chain of baby boutiques and there was one not too far from home, I was looking forward to checking it out. The main purpose of our visit was to choose a carseat/stroller "system" for our baby-to-be. This is a fairly big-ticket item for a tiny person, so we were expecting some, well, customer service. What are the choices available, which would be best in our situation, what are the features of each... We made several attempts to flag down someone to talk with us, but each time the person was rushing off to do something else and didn't find time to come back and speak to us when s/he finished that urgent task, as we had requested. I feel not at all guilty for making our purchase of this item from an online store instead of at Bo-Bébé. Other reviewers have it right -- compare prices before you buy. Bo-Bébé was competitively priced on some items but many others were as much as 50% more for the identical item. read more

I called and reserved a stroller and the day I'm supposed to go pick it up I call first to make sure they had it, they transferred me in between 3 employees made me wait on hold for 35 min I hang up call back again they put me on hold right away and third time transferred me to voicemail. One of the worst stores in the Province. Even it does not deserve for one star. Worst experience of the customer service till the date. Refund policy is very store-friendly instead of customer-friendly. If you want to return an item or exchange then it never possible without spending couple of hours. The price tag usually does not match with their system so you may be surprise in the front while you want to pay. So do not forget to check the price of every item in the computer system before deciding to buy. Your purchase is final whether you like it or NOT. We heard from several people that this was a great store because of their wide selection and affordable prices. This may be true but if you are looking for *any* level of customer service (above what can be provided by a gorilla), then look elsewhere. We were there on two occasions (soon to be three): 1st time: More or less uneventful but we left empty handed because the mobile we found only came in a 7 piece combo pack. 2nd time: We were trying to find a dresser. We were a bit late in buying this so past the point of being picky. Among the vast selection, we found several that would do the job. None were immediately available - only by special order - which was fine. We ordered one. We were told it would be in-store by the next week. Five minutes later we were told that it might be two weeks. Five minutes later the sales rep told us "well, it's on the boat from China so it can't be that long." For some reason, in my tired post-work week 8 month pregnant state, this didn't sound any alarms in my head. We proceeded to the cash to pay for said dresser - this took about 45 minutes - no jokes... I went to the bathroom twice while my husband dealt with the payment process. We had also purchased a shelf, which we had to pick up at a loading dock. This took another 20 minutes since the employees working in this section stood around chatting after taking our receipt until my husband looked like he was going to have a hernia. Apparently this is what gets you service. Soon to be 3rd time: It has been two weeks since we ordered the dresser and no news from Bo-Bébé. My husband called today and was told that it was set to arrive in August. Baby is due July 24. So, back to the drawing board for us... We will go to Bo-Bébé a third time to get a full refund and to never return again. We are not picky people and I don't expect 5 star treatment at a discount type store. But perhaps they should raise their prices just a tiny bit in order to be able to hire people that actually have semi-functioning brains. read more

Out of all my shopping experiences, this must be the worst store. The cashier was extremely rude. We asked for the dimensions of the box thinking we could load it in the car ourselves. They flat out lied and made a big fuss about how it had to be delivered in a truck. We had to pay 50$ CASH to the delivery guy who delivered it in a hatchback car. when we measured the box we found out that it could easily have fit in the car and that they lied about the dimensions of the box making seem much bigger than it actually was. I would give this store a -10 for service and they say they do not accept gift cards as a store policy but that's a lie. Don't believe anything these people tell you. read more

Be VERY VERY careful when you buy a convertible bed from this store. We bought one 3 years ago and now we are living a nightmare because we were not given the right pieces and the model we bought they no longer sell it.
