Where else have you seen this? Because of the brewing process, there's no alcohol but you still get the floral taste of the hops and boy was it delicious. It reminded me of a rose latte. My friend got a hot Nana's mocha and it was a chocolate heaven! I loved it as well. I love the space; very cool vibes with lots of art, big space and they also serve burgers! I have to give that a try next time. They also serve alcohol (wine, beer) and saw some unusual brands that I've never seen before.

Unfortunately, they weren't serving off of the lunch menu (we were a little too early) so we had to order off of the breakfast menu. Food took long and the tots that my friend ordered took super long that we asked for a box to go. Food: Chili Crisp BFast Sando- (Biroche, Egg, Cheese, Bacon, Chiptole Aioli, Sesame Chili Crisp) Tots with House Seasoning - with Ranch Cup of Coffee Buko Pandan Latte Hot & Cold First the drinks were yummy. The hot Buko Pandan was stronger in flavor than the cold/iced drink. The tots were yummy and crisped perfectly but I'm not sure about the supposedly ranch dip. It was tangy for me. The Chilio Crisp Bfast Sando was delicious. It was so good that I want to return soon and have it again. The worker taking our order was very nice. He even mentioned about a restaurant in Vegas and asked if I've ever tried it-Public Us and yes I have. Overall, a great spot that can get very busy in the AM. The front window area has seats on one side and seats outside. It worked for us. Definitely will return.

They also waited while I looked at their giant menu to figure out what I want. And not giant in a bad way, giant in a many options way. I had questions and the woman who took my order was so kind to me and patient when I had questions. I also put my phone number and got a discount so definitely sign up for their rewards program! There was plenty of seating inside and outside so we grabbed a booth and made myself comfortable until my order was ready. The inside was decorated very cute with lights. We ordered a Thai and Taro blended milk tea, a Tiger Tea with boba, an order of Cheese Curds and the Brick Toast with Honey Butter. The Thai and Taro blended milk tea was so good! It had such a balanced flavor! The Tiger tea with Boba was very earthy and subtle flavor but still so good! The Cheese Curds were freshly battered with a golden fry on it that really showed how clean their oil is! And the Brick Toast with Honey Butter was such a soft bouncy bread that would pair beautifully with a morning coffee. Over all the entire menu is something I want to keep exploring and I definitely recommend SD Boba Tea!

Lets talk about the vibes first...amazing decor and vibes, decor and walls and atmosphere is very cool and unique I truly love it so much. The staff is very nice, offering suggestions on drinks with big smiles and welcoming energy. Now the drinks and food: the drink I got last time was an iced mocha (no picture but I remember it was very good). This time I went with my mom and we both got the "Moon" drink.. a Chai/Matcha which was such a good drink, I want like a 40oz of it to take with me home for the week. I also ordered the pesto turkey sandwhich to share and I can not express how good this was. Perfectly crispy, juicy and fresh. Took the first bite and literally gasped because not only was the bread toasted to perfection but the veggies and turkey were so flavorful. The veggies and pesto and turkey were also layered in a way that made every bite delectable and that to me is art. Loved it, want more of it and I WILL be back to try more drinks and sandwhiches.

It's third ave I mean if you are from San Diego you know it's either neighborhood parking or the meters. Not a big deal though. I am greeted by Karely and her big smile, one of the baristas. It is tiny location but long, they have two gender neutral bathrooms at the end. A few tables to sit down inside and out. A cute bench with the view of third ave traffic. Interior decor is super cute I loved, one of my favs was this board they have which is a basically you pay a coffee forward and you put the sticky there for the next person to get their drink. I totally don't work there so I would just reconfirm what can be redeemed. Drink: I get an iced dirty chai WITH banana cold foam. 10/10 must try. They also offer matcha for you matcha lovers. Grind house has found a new customer and yes, I've already brought so many friends here. My only suggestion would be to maybe have a phone charging station, that's all! :)

Now let's talk pricing... the cakes are a little on the pricey side for the size. They're pretty, but just be prepared. The pistachio matcha though? That's the star. So so good. Not overly sweet which I LOVE and the foam cream on top was smooth and dreamy. Also major points for having coconut milk and soy milk options. We love an inclusive queen. We grabbed donuts too and caught the buy two get one deal which felt like a win. Light, fluffy, filled just right. No complaints there. Customer service was... mid. The girls were deep in convo about their bad dates and whether they should text back or not. Lowkey entertaining but also like... can I order real quick lol. Overall I'd come back in a heartbeat, especially for the matcha. That drink alone has me sold.

What caught my eye were the perfectly decorated cream donuts sitting safely in the pastry display case. The different flavors were: pistachio (say no more), ube cloud, mango, strawberry, chocolate and vanilla! My husband let me choose which one to get since he's a gentlemen. So we ended up getting the ube one. It wasn't super ube forward taste but a faint ube taste was present. The donut dough was nice and soft. I think mostly the presentation was enticing but the flavor was just ok. The milky cornet pie that my husband chose was better than the ube donut IMO. In fact, I wish we bought 4 of those things!!! The cream was delicious (reminds me of a super smooth and not too sweet custard) and the crust around it was so yummy. It was gone in three shared bites. Matcha was nothing mind-blowing but I do think they use a good quality matcha for their matcha latte drinks. We got the iced matcha latte and it was a refreshing afternoon drink to go along with the cornet pie. We also bought a bag of sliced bread and it was very good quality and taste. Prices are meh, kind of on the same price range one would expect for a barkery similar to 85°C. Overall, not a bad place to go to for a sweet tooth's needs and afternoon pick-me-up beverage. I would love to try out their cake flavors next time, namely the Earl Grey cake, if we are ever in the same area again!

It's tucked into a cute neighborhood near Logan Heights. We came around 9 a.m., and street parking was easy to find. There was already a line when we arrived, but it moved pretty quickly. The baristas were friendly and welcoming, and I thought the prices were really reasonable for San Diego. I ordered the black sesame matcha, and my husband got the Piloncillo. The matcha was creamy, rich, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. One thing to know if you're ordering matcha or a latte--they only offer oat milk, not almond milk. My husband loved his coffee and said the espresso was smooth, flavorful, and let the coffee shine without being overcomplicated. The shop itself is really cool too. There's an art installation inside, an outdoor patio with additional seating, and I noticed quite a few people picking up bags of espresso beans while we were there. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back.

This last visit we got Ensamayda (cheese roll) for our daughters. They also have the Ube Ensamayda. Besides the small sized pandesal we selected, we got a Mocha Roll too. Everything was delicious. I like the small sized pandesal but I could definitely eat the larger ones too. Parking is crazy here in this long strip mall full of food shops. Not only is parking crazy busy, but the spaces are small. You can find me back here at this Filipino Bakery when in the area!
