The baristas were friendly and welcoming, and I thought the prices were really reasonable for San Diego. I ordered the black sesame matcha, and my husband got the Piloncillo. The matcha was creamy, rich, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. One thing to know if you're ordering matcha or a latte--they only offer oat milk, not almond milk. My husband loved his coffee and said the espresso was smooth, flavorful, and let the coffee shine without being overcomplicated. The shop itself is really cool too. There's an art installation inside, an outdoor patio with additional seating, and I noticed quite a few people picking up bags of espresso beans while we were there. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back.
