I brought my heavily modified 1998 450hp Dinan supercharged/RMS aftercooled six-speed M3 convertible to Danny and Mike for one specific mission: Resolving the much dreaded/feared worn and almost inoperable soft top issue for a minimal cost. For those of you who own an E36 convertible, dealing with the virtually useless powered soft top is a guaranteed problem with no exceptions. Even at only 60k miles, the soft top on my M3 would not lower itself without getting stuck; banging against the rear deck lid; or leaving the inner plastic trim hanging down like a poorly assembled car. Before entrusting my car with Danny and Mike, I took my car to numerous shops in the same area in hope to get this issue resolved with negative results. Some shops did not even want to provide a quote for this job without taking everything apart first. This is not so with BMW-Mini MDs. Danny was able to provide me an extremely competitive quote within a day, and Mike answered all my questions before the repair even started. Needless to say, the repair was completed within a timely fashion. Best of all, Danny and Mike even fixed a broken tab on my rear bumper and the plastic rear deck lid trim for free. And they're not even a body shop! BMW-Mini MDs have definitely earned my business. Expert service. I called Mini MD's and talked with Danny. I told him my 2011 Clubman windows were inoperable, turn signals and driving lights not working. Ive called this establishment today to get quoted for installment on an aftermarket H&R springs on my E93 335i and they refused to do it since i purchased them myself. I am a car broker and i have really good discount on any OEM or aftermarket parts. It is at some point understandable that they would not like to deal anything else but OEM. The issue came when i asked how much would be to replace a valve cover gasket with them providing everything (I've mentioned that this is a personal vehicle) and the gentleman on the phone told me - quoting: "Ughh i'm sorry we don't deal with dealers" and he hung up on me. From the first time you walk in, they treat you like you have been a long time customer. Quoted me $400+ for a set of 6 spark plugs and cabin filter. I asked how much for just the installation for the spark plugs alone and they quoted me $261. Spark plugs are fairly easy to change out, considering a close friend of mine is a BMW technician and I've seen him do it in around 20 minutes from start to finish. Save yourself some time and money and find a different place that won't give you stealership prices. read more

I took my Mini Cooper in because it it was having a problem that caused it to go into limp mode. The car was running badly and it felt like it was not firing on all the cylinders. I called the shop early Thursday morning and even though they said they were pretty busy and booked up, they said I could bring my car over and they would try to make time for it. They found out that there was a bad ignition coil and replaced it for me. What I thought was going to be a very serious engine problem was fixed before I went to lunch. I like to do my own repair work and maintenance on my Mini Cooper. I try my hardest to avoid taking it anywhere. But when this happened, I wasn't sure how costly or time consuming the fix would be and I really needed my car for a weekend trip to San Diego. I'm very glad I brought my car here. They don't try to sell you on anything that can wait. They concentrate on what can leave you stuck. And their prices were more than reasonable. I was treated very well. Mike listened to my views on the problem and took great care of my Mini Cooper. I highly recommend this shop to any BMW or Mini owners who are particular on who they let work on their car. It was a Great Experience 1st time experience taking my BMW here. They are professional and courteous. A little longer than what I expected but I did come in when they barely opened. The owner Mike knew BMW's and Mini's very well. They only use Liqui Moly or Motul high performance oils. Also they used original BMW oil filters. I am very particular about my oils and other things that go in my car. If I don't put it myself, that other person better do a hell of a job (and they did). My new place for maintenance on my BMW. I found out about this shop through yelp when my 2007 BMW 328i was leaking oil a few years ago. Since this was my first car and I was not knowledgable about cars I was nervous about the whole situation. However, when I walked through the doors of BMW-MINI MDs Danny and Mike met me with a smile and such professionalism that gave me a sense of relief. After they diagnosed the problem they explained the whole process, broke down their pricing -which is very competitive- and did an amazing job fixing the valve cover gasket leak. After the job was done these guys showed me the parts they replaced which I thought was awesome since it showed me how genuine they are and it taught me something about my car. Since that first encounter I knew this was the mechanic shop that I will always take my car to. Over the past few years whenever the car needed regular maintenance, such as an oil change, or if a part was malfunctioning BMW-MINI MDs had been the place I go to. So let me just start off by saying customer service is great and the quality of the work is decent. Having said that I would not bring my vehicle back here. 1. They we're not 100% honest with me, they had mentioned my center support bearing was cracked and worn upon further inspection this wasn't true at all. 2. Labor costs are twice as expensive as any other certified independent BMW repair shop (excluding the dealer). 3. Ridiculously over priced, it's almost insulting $300 for an oil change? 10w 60 or not that is just... wow. So now the last thing I would like to suggest for anyone reading this, there is a great shop in El Monte called SGV Bimmer. I would highly recommend, honest work, great prices. The owner is the most honest and knowledgeable technician I have ever met in my life, he has over 30 years of experience. Good luck! read more

So after several failed attempts at several other BMW repair places, I happened upon this jewel! The service here is impeccable! From the personable experience at the front desk to the knowledge of the repairman was outstanding. I stayed and waited for my car to be repaired and was met with several check-ins to make sure I was comfortable while wating. The young lady at the front desk chatted with me, which made the time there seem less tedious. The owner also came out and chatted with me for quite a bit (very nice guy) After a week long of frustrating experiences from other repair places, I can say I'm glad that it allowed me to stumble upon this organization. They're very nice! My car died on the freeway in Upland and this was the only shop open. They offered to stay a few minutes late after closing until I could get my car towed to their shop. My car stayed in their shop overnight until they could get to it the next day and they called me to tell me what was wrong with it. I absolutely love these guys. Mike and Danny are honest and that is so hard to find in a mechanic shop these days. I waited about a month to post just to see if my car was going to continue to run great and it is!!! They called a couple weeks later to check on how the car was doing which is absolutely great! No one at the BMW dealership had ever did that. The problem my car had was pretty expensive but their labor rates are reasonable and they didn't try to add on any additional cost and that's something I can truly appreciate.
