My husband and son are both athletic, but I have zero upper body strength or eye-hand coordination. We all really enjoyed it! It's something none of us had tried before but could all pick up (somewhat) within an hour. Christian, the resident expert, was extremely nice and helpful. He clearly knows what he's doing but wasn't intimidating. I appreciate that the atmosphere was really relaxed--I didn't feel embarrassed when I had bad throws. But he made sure we understood the right form and safety measures, and he was there to help us improve when we needed it. Highly recommend! Well worth the money and a fun, active family outing.

There was just one other couple riding with us, which made it feel more personal and relaxed; not crowded at all. The horses were well-behaved and mostly stayed in their own line, so even if you're not an experienced rider, it's easy to get comfortable pretty quickly. The ride itself takes you through the woods and along dirt roads, with a few inclines and declines mixed in. It's not overly challenging, but it's enough to keep it interesting and give you a good feel for the terrain. We weren't able to cross the river due to all the recent rain, but that's obviously out of their control. Even without that portion, the ride was still worth it. Overall, well run, enjoyable, and something we'd definitely do again the next time we're in the area.
