10/10 experience. The whole experience was awesome, from the amazing staff leading the horses and horseback ride to the train conductor, gift shop lady, and the lady selling tickets at the counter. It's a local family owned business. My first horse Bill was in a bad mood so I switched to Leroy who was so chill. They are super dog friendly and even have puppies available. Definitely want to come back!

Horseback riding was an interesting experience. The staff were super serious. No laughs or smiles. The efficient system of gettin us onto the horses made us feel a bit like we were on a conveyer belt in a factory. Having said that, there were several wranglers helping keep the horses in line, but it was stressful to hear the commands being shouted out, as if it would be the end of the word, if a horse stopped to eat. The train conductor was a hoot, though. The ride was so worth it. We saw plenty of deer, too. 20 mins of fun!

A fun time getting close with the deer and an eventful train ride! We will be back for sure!

End of trail ride they assist you off!

Nice place to divert the kids. 4 stars for the horse trail rides but the train is totally not worth it for non toddlers. The train is slow moving and there is not much to see moving at the snail's pace it does. The trail rides are open to all ages. We bought a separate ticket for my 5 year old because there weren't any pony rides today but he ended up riding with me. The horses seem well cared for and it's definitely the better option than the train ride.

Absolutely horrifying experience! I went there and was scrutinized by the staff because of my weight. Now before we made this 5 hour venture to their ranch, I went to their website and confirmed all the necessary requirements; including the weight limit. I weighed myself -numerous- times before leaving and I was well below the 250lb limit every time! However, when we arrived the gentleman with dark grey eyebrows kept looking at me up and down. He waited until everyone else had gotten on their horse, then pulled me aside, and asked "How much do you weigh?" and I answered honestly. He pulls out his scale and I get on. Next thing you know this scale is saying I gained an extra 20 lbs IN A SINGLE DAY! That just isn't probable! What's more likely- is that this scale was tared to scam people out of their money, because (you guessed right) NO REFUNDS AVAILABLE. They do a weight test after the customer has already paid. Then had the audacity to tell me "You should've made sure!" Not only did I weigh myself multiple times, with an accurate scale, but my significant other could attest to this as well. When we got home, I weighed myself three more times and wouldn't you know- I "magically" lost the 20 lbs this ranch claimed I had. This was entirely frustrating and emotionally scarring. I advise you not to waste your money here. Not only were they insensitive, but his treatment of me since he saw me was nothing short of his sizeism. And I'm not saying they should allow people past the weight limit, but I am demanding a truly calibrated scale be put at the front prior to payment. If they have nothing to hide, let the next person they weigh keep their dignity. If you aren't a more socially conscious business, you won't be around for long. Times are changing and so should your prejudice!

Great experience with the kids! my family will be coming back when we come to the cabin next year!

FANTASTIC for all ages. We did the train ride and from 4-68 years old, we enjoyed it tremendously. Will definitely return and stay a little longer.

I hate to be effusive but, once inside, the phrases didn't stop. The cabin is at once elegant and unassuming. It's simply built and decorated in a wonderful way. I can't say enough about the quality of the craftmanship. No worries about 'pictures not matching the experience' with this property. You won't be let down and left wondering if the photos were actually taken at the place in question. Here, the photos don't do it justice. It's nestled in the woods with trees all around, but has a convenient drive up so it's not a hassle getting luggage inside. The views are stunning, and the appointments super comfortable, from the beds and linens, to the shower/bath features and amenities, to the Apple tv casting, letting me cast from my Apple phone/ipad onto the tv (we were able to download movies to our ipad then cast them to the tv for viewing). We're hoping to hop in the hot tub on our next visit! And, don't think that just because you're 'in the woods' you're cut off from civilization! There is plenty of "support services" nearby, including night spots, restaurants, and so much 'outdoorsy' stuff to do. If you're looking for a 'little cabin in the woods' that is superbly comfortable and simply a delight to look at, then you'd be hard pressed not to give this beautiful place a look.

The hot tub was clean and easy to just turn the jets on when we wanted to use it. The cabin had everything we needed in the kitchen and bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable and they had plenty of pillows for all of us. The air mattress was surprisingly comfortable as well. It was not the standard air mattress, this one was very a thick queen size mattress. The bathrooms were huge with dual showerheads in both walk in showers. We enjoyed the corn hole game outside. We saw deer and rabbits from our patio every day. The only downside is that there is some noise from the highway when you are outside, but it didn't bother us. Beautiful Cabin however horrible customer service from the management team at Hidden Hills…read more I love to visit Broken Bow when a small getaway is needed. We opted to rent 'Lost in the Music' from Hidden Hills. It's an amazingly beautiful 1 bedroom cabin with an upstairs loft nestled deep in the woods. The cabin cost for the weekend was $908.38. Yes, this is costly so surely 1 would expect their experience to perfect with no issues for concerns. *We arrived on Friday and within the 1st hour of settling in we discovered a dirty cookie sheet stored in the cabinet. I immediately placed it in the dishwasher as the smell was bad. I took this as a pure oversight on the cleaning crews part. *After taking a shower I noticed the water was not draining quickly. I looked down and noticed the drain was covered with brown hair. (I'm bald so this wasn't my hair). Also no one else had used the shower so this was not caught by the cleaning crew. Here's where the story gets detailed. Please note the 2 issues I just mentioned were not a big deal but I felt like they should definitely be mentioned. BTW these two incidents were mentioned to the management group via a text message when they occurred but I did not receive any response back. Back in 2014 I rented a cabin from Hidden Hills that was not clean and had many pieces of broken furniture. I shared my experience on several website only to be contacted by Angie-General Manager demanding that I remove my review. I was told they needed to be removed as they were slander. I was advised that if they were not removed she would get their legal team on me. I never removed my post as they were 100% factual and the truth. You'll notice when Hidden Hills receives a negative review it's always Angie replying back threatening legal action. She supposedly banned me at that time and black listed me with other companies. This was not true as I've rented from Blue Beaver Luxury Cabins with never any issues. As you can see in the pictures I've attached she is now threatening me again. At the end of the day I never asked for a refund or any type of credit. I was simply providing Hidden Hills feedback to ensure they knew of the concerns when it came to their cleaning crew. As you can see by the pics I was again threatened by Angie if I shared this experience. Now that I have been banned again from Hidden Hills I wanted to share this experience so you'll see what hateful management they have. Also please note this particular cabin is not safe for small children. All wkend we were in fear that my grandson fit between the wiring on the stairway. This is real concern at the landing on top of the stairwell. If you decide to visit Broken Bow please note there are SOOOOOO many other rental cabin companies that are more deserving of our hard earned money. Please note that I emailed Angie asking her to send me an apology and all would be forgiven. She refused with no response back to my request.
