The horses were well-behaved and mostly stayed in their own line, so even if you're not an experienced rider, it's easy to get comfortable pretty quickly. The ride itself takes you through the woods and along dirt roads, with a few inclines and declines mixed in. It's not overly challenging, but it's enough to keep it interesting and give you a good feel for the terrain. We weren't able to cross the river due to all the recent rain, but that's obviously out of their control. Even without that portion, the ride was still worth it. Overall, well run, enjoyable, and something we'd definitely do again the next time we're in the area.

Overall I would rent from them again when we go back to Broken Bow. Also- I would highly recommend wearing swim shoes! I had on sandals and when I had to get out of my tube to help a kiddo, I was slippin and slidin outta the shoes!

As we chug along the engineer throws corn out the side. I guess they have been doing this forever because tons of deer come right up to the train tracks as soon as they hear the train whistle. We probably saw 30 deer, including lots of babies. They literally come right up to the train, almost within touching distance. The engineer was super nice and good with the kids. The little train is open so try to go when it's not hot. He even hit the gas hard as we were going down a hill to give us a little speed. They also have horse trail rides, pony rides, and some food. Things are a little overpriced so we only ride the train but it was fun. Also, bathrooms are a little bit of a walk down the road. The train ride is about 15 minutes, which is a fine amount of time for what it is. I would recommend giving it a try if you are in town.

Can't say enough great things about Steve and his work. We had fiberglass Lund we bought at a…read moredealership that they claimed the previous owner had a cosmetic scratch they were repairing it before selling it to us. After owning the boat about 2 years cracks started to appear in the gel coat. Steven was able to grind into the soft spots the cracks had revealed and find the boat was actually wrecked and had major repairs in several places. One as bad as 12 ft long. On top of that the dealership hiding the boat had been wrecked. They had done the repairs incorrectly without any fibers in the patch instead putting several layers of gel coat to make the boat seam solid. Steve was able to identify and fix the damage, and he was able to articulate what had most likely happened to the boat and how they had repaired it incorrectly for us. Because of that we were able to recoup some costs from the dealer and now have a solid boat we can trust is in great shape for years to come.
