I'm happy I found them for my kayak rental. I had heard a lot of great things about them and it's true, I think this is the best of the available outfitters in Broken Bow. There was just one other couple riding with us, which made it feel more personal and relaxed; not crowded at all. The horses were well-behaved and mostly stayed in their own line, so even if you're not an experienced rider, it's easy to get comfortable pretty quickly. The ride itself takes you through the woods and along dirt roads, with a few inclines and declines mixed in. It's not overly challenging, but it's enough to keep it interesting and give you a good feel for the terrain. We weren't able to cross the river due to all the recent rain, but that's obviously out of their control. Even without that portion, the ride was still worth it. Overall, well run, enjoyable, and something we'd definitely do again the next time we're in the area.

They bus you to the entrance, you grab a tube and/or carrier and head down to the water. They provide grass rope so you can tie together if you want to. The tube route did not have any rapids, but did have a stretch of faster moving water. No white water tho- which was fine with me. The water was super shallow in some places, super deep in others. Overall I would rent from them again when we go back to Broken Bow. Also- I would highly recommend wearing swim shoes! I had on sandals and when I had to get out of my tube to help a kiddo, I was slippin and slidin outta the shoes!

This is not how you run a business! I should have been given more notice so I could make other plans. I now have to try to find something else with such short notice. From the moment we arrived, the owners treated us like family. Their hospitality, professionalism, and genuine pride in their business really stood out and made the entire experience memorable. The side-by-sides were spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. After owning the boat about 2 years cracks started to appear in the gel coat. Steven was able to grind into the soft spots the cracks had revealed and find the boat was actually wrecked and had major repairs in several places. One as bad as 12 ft long. On top of that the dealership hiding the boat had been wrecked. They had done the repairs incorrectly without any fibers in the patch instead putting several layers of gel coat to make the boat seam solid. Steve was able to identify and fix the damage, and he was able to articulate what had most likely happened to the boat and how they had repaired it incorrectly for us. Because of that we were able to recoup some costs from the dealer and now have a solid boat we can trust is in great shape for years to come.
