It was a stunning fall day, the air was crisp and the parking lot was totally packed. What a…read moregorgeous day to explore Robbers Cave. We brought a picnic and the fur babies and made a day of it! The only tiny complaint was the QR codes were scratched out so there was no way for people to pay for parking. A sign update is definitely needed but this was during the government shutdown so I'm sure that wasn't available. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked, trails were in excellent shape, trash cans were pretty full due to all the people but not overflowing. If you can make it on a week day it would be a lot easier to find parking. This is an Oklahoma must do!

I checked in for the annual fall festival that always falls during fall break in October. It's a…read morefabulous festival with car show, tons of food options, and great vendors to shop. They have a carnival and inflatables for kids too. But this state park itself is one of my favorites. I've been going since I was a child, and the lake is so beautiful. I love to rent a paddleboat! They have yurts to rent, putt putt golf, and a snow cone/coffee stand that has become better and better over the years. The lookout kitchen is finally open after that whole debacle with the state, but I need to go back and try it. The building is beautiful though and right in the water. We've camped here in our RV too, and the spots are spacious, quiet, and very woodsy. It's always fun to hike up to the cave too. The history of this area is so cool. The trails are great, and there are options for ability levels. I always go green or yellow. You can often find people rappelling too! Definitely give this state park a try.

Cute, fun place for the whole family, however, if you have small children that haven't gone to swim…read moreschool fo swim lessons yet then, you need to make sure someone has eyes on them at all times bc there is a large pond near some of the units that does not have a fance around it There are boats you can take the kids on around the pond in but I dont think there are any life jackets so you may want to bring one Yhe kids really really enjoy seeing the ringtail lemurs and the he kangaroos that are in cages towards the middle of thr ranch There are also Texas long horn cows throughout the property that you can get pretty close ti (Behind fences) and if you are there in the summer there is a pool behind the owners house at the top of the hill The squirells will eat from your hand if you collect the nuts that are all over the ground. The view is spectacular, the units are beutifly decorated, are very unique and have everything you will need to prepare a homecooked meal. I docked 1 star bc our unit did not have window coverings so we were forced to wake up way earlier than we wanted ( it might, that was 2 yrs ago) but other than that they were perfect. This is the gem of Antlers but that being said is a lot bc overall, Antlers is a dumpy town with lots of rednecks that dont keep their homes and yarss kept up so much of the towns neighbirhokd look very old and run down and there is a big drug proble.in town and absolutleh nothing to do, it is quite possibly thr most boring, depressing place ive ever been so bare that in mind if you plan a visit here bc kids will quickly get bored and if you ever consider moving here, bare in mind the schools have lots of bullying issues, especially towards new kids or if their parents buy them toys and dress them nice bc the kids are very jelous bc many of the.parents ae poor or are farmers and cant fo anywhwhere so the kids literally never get to go anywhere fun and never go on vacations (majority) , there are a few that do .

Rebel Hill Ranch is a gem! We enjoyed staying in the original cabin right by the lake. The…read morehighlight of our stay was the horseback riding. My daughters loved the lemurs, kangaroos, and the tortoise. We got to see the elk and white tailed deer on the trail. Becky was very helpful throughout our stay. We stayed Easter weekend and even had a visit from the Easter bunny.
