I scheduled a branch appointment for a name change. Per the email confirmation, I was to proceed to…read morethe customer service desk upon my arrival. I did not see any area labeled as such. There was a desk dedicated to those with Drive Test appointments, but that was it. I went to that unmanned desk and noticed a representative/supervisor standing nearby. She saw me but didn't acknowledge me. Other reps were looking at me as well, but none of them attempted to assist me, as they were assisting other customers. I moved down, behind the customer that was being helped by a rep and the supervisory person. I hated standing behind that individual conducting personal business, but I didn't see any other way to get the supervisor's attention. She continued to ignore me until I said, "Excuse me." From that point forward, the interaction was perfection. She asked what type of appointment I had and called for the next available CSR (customer service representative). A few moments later, a nearby rep stated that she was almost finished, to which the supervisor responded something to the effect of, you have to slow down, "I'm only one person." That's when I noticed the banner stating that they were hiring. I snapped a photo for my daughter to apply. The rep clarified that she didn't need help, but that she would be the next available CSR! Shortly thereafter, I was called up for my appointment. The name change was smooth and required minimal documents. They also updated my voter registration and offered to renew my vehicle registration at that time as well. Once I sat down, I was done within 10-15 minutes. The initial interaction was a little off-putting, but ultimately, they got me taken care of quickly and efficiently.

While I will admit I tend to be one of those people who thinks going to the BMV isn't nearly as…read moreawful as we make it out to be, I'll also admit that it's really kind of the last thing I wanted to be doing early on a Saturday morning. However, in an effort to keep moving on resolving my father's estate I needed to head in and transfer a title to his vehicle. After looking up possible branches and deciding that I wasn't quite up to heading into Meadows (the closest to my house) or the Lawrence branch (also close), I decided since I needed to hit the northwest side I'd head north. I find the BMV website confusing and especially so on my phone - so, my original stop at 92nd and Meridian was a false alarm. They weren't open. So, I headed toward this branch at Lake Circle Plaza. It's a large shopping center off West 86th Street not long before you hit the St. Vincent campus. This is a full-service branch that also houses self-service options. There are a couple of accessible parking spots nearby, though I ended up parking farther down by Kroger. There's a couple glass doorways. The lobby is huge and where you'll find the self-serve kiosks. To get to full-service, you go around the self-serve area. You'll arrive at an electronic station. You push a button to get a number. I knew it was going to be a bit of a wait - I think they were in the mid-30s when I arrived. I had #74. There are quite a few seats. To be honest, while there was a bit of a wait the line actually moved pretty quickly. The stations are pretty low to the ground. I would call them for the most part wheelchair friendly. I wanted to accomplish two tasks, though I had a feeling one would not be possible as I was concerned I didn't have the right kinds of ID. As it turned out, I accomplished changing the title quite easily (if the person has died, you need a death certificate and court documents indicating you have the authority). If you plan to keep the vehicle, you'll also be looking at plates. I will be selling the vehicle. The clerk was friendly, helpful, and sympathetic to my reason for being there. I was honestly surprised how quickly things got accomplished and for a very reasonable price. As expected, I was unable to accomplish my second task. She explained what I would need - especially if I wanted the new Real ID. While employees are friendly, they are pretty consistent with the rules and there are supervisors who check work to maintain integrity. It's a little inconvenient, but I'm also a government employee and I'm fine with rules being rules. I was in and out in less than an hour. I was impressed that there was an employee floating around helping people as possible. They do have public restrooms including an accessible one. They do charge a service charge for using debit or credit cards. Overall, I was pleased. I typically use self-serve when able. However, both tasks today required an in-person appearance. While this wasn't anything dazzling, it offered good service, a decent atmosphere, and pretty organized chaos. I'd like to see the website get a little more clarity. I do like that you can now schedule appointments - as I watched, this seemed to speed up the process. This will likely be the branch I visit again once I'm able to find or get the documents needed for my additional task.

When I got there the line was down by Hobby Lobby and my heart stopped for a quick second. I still went in to use the kiosk to transfer my plates from my old vehicle that I traded in to my new vehicle and used the Kiosk. I was unsure of what to do at the kiosk but Jane helped me and made the process quick and easy. Jane has outstanding customer service skills and I was impressed with how smooth the process went. I'm so happy that the kiosk was available for me to use. Thank you Jane for your service, keep up the good work.

I had to visit this location because of a passport issue. The employee that started the passport…read moreacceptance process was dishonest about the photo submission. I called the 800 customer service phone number, after I was told that the employee had been possibly dishonest, to confirm the truth. After learning the truth, and being advised to visit this location before the passport was sent out, I went to the branch as directed. What I particularly found disturbing was that the way the two employees at the window behaved as well as the supervisor. Additionally, they were not aligned with customer service and disagreeed with what I was advised to do. I wanted to get this situation resolved quietly and privately but all three employees had different intentions. Very disappointing experience. Hopefully this is not the way every employee works at this location.

I visit this location to vote, and, more rcently, to donate food items to their little, free food…read morepantry. I have voted at this location for several years, but this last election was a trial. I am a handicapped senior citizen with several health issues; and I had to stand in line for more than 2.5 hours before being able to cast my vote. There was no place to sit down. The line snaked through the building and finally there were 2 chairs near the front entrance - after I had been standing for more than 2 hours. I was in tears by the time I was able to cast my vote because of the physical pain I was suffering. While standing in line, I noticed some people were being given immediate access into the building to vote and I realized that if I had brought my cane, or appeared to be more physically distraught, I might not have had to stand so long outside. The obvious appearance of a physical impairment does not always indicate which people suffer from chronic medical issues. PLEASE, Warren Township Trustee employees/voting workers, etc., make it easier for people with medical and/or physical impairments to cast their votes. DO NOT be selective in your choice of whom to admit into the building ahead of others in line. If any person with a medical and/or physical problem needs easier access to enter the building to vote, put up a sign, or have a designated person available at all times to usher them inside.

I went because as a good American citizen and exercising my right as an American Citizen, I went done there to VOTE! There are some court hearings that take place in that building and there has been voting for many years. The building itself is very well kept and has been kept very clean every time I've been in it. Why do I vote? It's my right and I Need to vote so the people I want to speak for me have a little better chance to get in their positions. Get out and vote early. We know nothing will interfere with our voting because we're done. If you don't vote, don't complain about the people in government.voting is your chance to try to put the people in office that you believe will serve our people best. I'm proud to be an American

Ingrese la informacion tan pronto como pude pero para cuando termine ya no habia citas disponibles. Hoy llame al consulado para saber si aceptan "walk ins" pero nadie contesto, solo me salio una maquina con un mesaje y la opcion para dejar un mesaje de voz. Levo 30 minutos esperando a que me contesten en otro numero que me dio la maquina cuando llame al consulado y hasta ahora nadie ha contestado. En la pagina de facebook tienen los comentarios desabilitados y cuando envias mensaje por messenger simplemente te ignoran. Parece que a quienes trabajan ahi se les olvida que son servidores publicos por que hasta ahora por mas que he intentado no he podido recibir ningun servicio, no he podido programar mi cita, hablar con algun representante o al menos conseguir que alguien me conteste un mensaje, esto es ridiculo. Para que existe un consulado si no podemos tener acceso a el. Update... Despues de 45 minutos en espera, alguien finalmente contesto y me recomendaron que para recibir una actualizacion sobre las citas los llame constantemente durante cierto horario. Por Dios, como si uno no trabajara o tuviera todo el dia disponible para llamar y esperar por mas de media hora. Pero ademas la persona que me contesto se nego a darme mayor informacion por que cometi el error de comentarle que la cita no era para mi si no para un familiar. Ni siquiera le pedi que hiciera la cita, solo le pedi que me diera informacion para saber si tenian la opcion de darnos una cita de emergencia. De verdad no tengo palabras para expresar la frustracion que generan este tipo de situaciones y el poco interes que estas personas tienen para ayudar.
