I originally went to the Speedway branch where they were charging me $65 for a service and I wasn't prepared for that I had figured it would just be a few dollars. There's much to be said for customer service and a happy customer service representative. Thank you!

It's like talking to your 1 year old nephew who has no clue in the world what's happening yet they think they own the place and run all over you. Stupid quality lady went on a power trip with me over a small trailer I was trying to register and title from Ohio. Because I didn't have the title from the previous owner, they wouldn't title it to me. Mind you, YOU DONT NEED A DAMN TITLE IN THE STATE OF OHIO FOR A TRAILER THAT WEIGHS LESS THAN 4000lbs. I wouldn't have believed it myself if someone told me the quality lady weighed less than 4000lbs alone. Maybe stay off the twinkies Stacy, just a thought. So how the hell am I suppose to get the original owner to sign the title over to me when you don't need onein Ohio? Riddle me that ma'am. The people were very rude and safe to say that I will never be back and I'd rather drive 2 hours away than the 10 minutes it would take me to get to this location. These people are a joke and need some serious practice learning how to talk to customers and maybe don't hire people who are constantly mad at the world because their democrat libtard leader didn't get elected in 2024. While I will admit I tend to be one of those people who thinks going to the BMV isn't nearly as…read moreawful as we make it out to be, I'll also admit that it's really kind of the last thing I wanted to be doing early on a Saturday morning. However, in an effort to keep moving on resolving my father's estate I needed to head in and transfer a title to his vehicle. After looking up possible branches and deciding that I wasn't quite up to heading into Meadows (the closest to my house) or the Lawrence branch (also close), I decided since I needed to hit the northwest side I'd head north. I find the BMV website confusing and especially so on my phone - so, my original stop at 92nd and Meridian was a false alarm. They weren't open. So, I headed toward this branch at Lake Circle Plaza. It's a large shopping center off West 86th Street not long before you hit the St. Vincent campus. This is a full-service branch that also houses self-service options. There are a couple of accessible parking spots nearby, though I ended up parking farther down by Kroger. There's a couple glass doorways. The lobby is huge and where you'll find the self-serve kiosks. To get to full-service, you go around the self-serve area. You'll arrive at an electronic station. You push a button to get a number. I knew it was going to be a bit of a wait - I think they were in the mid-30s when I arrived. I had #74. There are quite a few seats. To be honest, while there was a bit of a wait the line actually moved pretty quickly. The stations are pretty low to the ground. I would call them for the most part wheelchair friendly. I wanted to accomplish two tasks, though I had a feeling one would not be possible as I was concerned I didn't have the right kinds of ID. As it turned out, I accomplished changing the title quite easily (if the person has died, you need a death certificate and court documents indicating you have the authority). If you plan to keep the vehicle, you'll also be looking at plates. I will be selling the vehicle. The clerk was friendly, helpful, and sympathetic to my reason for being there. I was honestly surprised how quickly things got accomplished and for a very reasonable price. As expected, I was unable to accomplish my second task. She explained what I would need - especially if I wanted the new Real ID. While employees are friendly, they are pretty consistent with the rules and there are supervisors who check work to maintain integrity. It's a little inconvenient, but I'm also a government employee and I'm fine with rules being rules. I was in and out in less than an hour. I was impressed that there was an employee floating around helping people as possible. They do have public restrooms including an accessible one. They do charge a service charge for using debit or credit cards. Overall, I was pleased. I typically use self-serve when able. However, both tasks today required an in-person appearance. While this wasn't anything dazzling, it offered good service, a decent atmosphere, and pretty organized chaos. I'd like to see the website get a little more clarity. I do like that you can now schedule appointments - as I watched, this seemed to speed up the process. This will likely be the branch I visit again once I'm able to find or get the documents needed for my additional task.

I was grateful that this US Post Office was near the Indiana Convention Center where the Health & Fitness Expo was held, because it allowed me to ship out my postcards and other mail I had brought with me while in Indianapolis. When I walked in there was only one customer inside, but not in line though. I waited briefly before being acknowledged by the clerk who at the time was speaking to her co-worker. My visit ended up being in-and-out because there were not any other customers. As someone who visits post office locations regularly whether it be for Poshmark or eBay shipments, the clerk was respectful during our brief encounter. I was on my way in minutes after she presented me with stamps for my postcards and took them after. I am terrible at doing the surveys on the receipts pertaining to my visits, but rest assured, I always share a review based on my experiences. I had a good experience and would gladly utilize this location again for any shipments I may have when in town. ~ Good vibes coming your way ~ Thomas G
