Another dear friend of mine had an upcoming birthday and would be away on a cruise so we opted to dine here to celebrate. We sat outside on the covered patio and enjoyed lupper. We shared a variety of items and started with the Parker House bread which is paired with an insanely delicious caramelized onion butter and a trio of tuna poke tacos. Both of these appetizers were superb! The billowy soft roll blanketed in the onion butter was dreamy and the tuna inside the tacos was well flavored and very fresh. Moreover, the combination of textures: the crispy taco shell with soft tuna harmonized extremely well. After we enjoyed the starters, we shared the seasonal chopped salad. The vinaigrette was magnificent and the sweet potatoes were roasted to perfection and danced delightfully with the cranberries and goat cheese. Finally, we shared the Clubhouse California sandwich and fries which we had the kitchen split for us. The sandwich featured toasted multigrain bread with a grilled chicken breast, gruyère, avocado, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and a sriracha aïoli. We requested this be held on the side and served along with a side of honey mustard. Unfortunately, there was an error and this didn't occur. I absolutely detest mayonnaise which is why I preferred it be served on the side just in case I could taste it. Luckily, I didn't mind the aïoli being I didn't taste any mayonnaise. It also had a gentle kick due to the sriracha that paired well with the accompanying ingredients. We washed down our meals with club soda paired with lime and good ole fashioned H20. I had mentioned to our server Morgan that it was my friend's birthday so after our meal she and her team brought out a hot brownie with vanilla ice cream and a candle and sang "Happy Birthday." It was such a special touch and very appreciated. Our dining experience was delightful and I will definitely return. The inside of the restaurant along with the bar is beautiful offering great views and the restroom was very clean. There is some walking involved from the parking lot to the dining room, but valet parking is an option.

All three of us ordered the Bistro burgers with fries (which was the Wednesday special) $15 includes the burger, fries, and a beer. The burger was juicy and delicious. Fries were crispy and hot. Excellent combo, especially for the price. I wish they had sweet potatoes fries as an option. The coke I had originally ordered was flat so I had an Arnold Palmer instead. Server was greeted us with a friendly smile. We watched the beautiful sunset as we enjoyed our food and the fun event.

We first got there for the wedding rehearsal and that was very seamless and easy. The coordinator there made everything super light and easy to follow. The next day, the actual day of the wedding we got there pretty early for hair and make up and the room that they put us in was very nice. It was very spacious and Margarita, the lady helping us that day, was lovely. She took very good care of us. She brought us amazing, delicious food for lunch always asked if we needed anything and was just so personable and friendly. The space had a lot of couches for us to chill before the wedding while we were getting ready and a lot of space for about three of us to be doing hair and makeup at the same time. And everything was just perfect and flowed really nicely. It did end up raining during my friend's wedding, but they made the choice for her so easy by letting her know there was an inside option ahead of time so the inside option, you could still see the beautiful background of the lighthouse and the intercoastal, which was perfect and very seamless it was easy to transition to the inside. For the food options, everything was good. We had different Hors d'oeuvres to start and for my main I got the fish, which was really good as well as the salad. It was such a great time.

That was very good. The main course consisted of steak and chicken with a side of mashed potatoes. The chicken breast had sage under the cheese which was a bit different but the chicken was tasty and moist. The steak was a bit dry and steak knives were not provided and some cuts were very thick. The dessert consisted of a chocolate roll, the cake portion was also dry, you needed the raspberry gel to help it go down. The service was excellent!

We scheduled a horseback riding lesson with Desert Rose Ranch for one week from the day we spoke to…read moreDesert Rose Ranch to schedule the lesson, who confidently confirmed the date and time was good. Next, we received a call from Desert Rose Ranch on Tuesday afternoon the following week whereby we were asked if we could reschedule our Wednesday morning lesson due to there suddenly being too many riders who were apparently also scheduled to ride at the same time as us. We patiently responded with a positive response that we would go ahead and accommodate Desert Rose Ranch's request and reschedule our lesson, despite the inconvenience and burden upon us to reschedule our other important events for that day. We rescheduled our lesson with Desert Rose Ranch for Thursday morning instead. On Thursday morning, the day of our rescheduled lesson as requested per Desert Rose Ranch, we dressed and made all preparations for our rescheduled lesson. Then, literally within one hour prior to the start of our rescheduled lesson, Desert Rose Ranch texted us informing us that they could no longer accommodate us and once again asked if we would not mind rescheduling our lesson. Even still, Desert Rose Ranch texted us just the late afternoon prior to Thursday morning to confirm our scheduled lesson, to which we replied we confirm. The excuse Desert Rose Ranch provided to us was that there were just too many riders and horses scheduled at the same time as our lesson and haphazardly mentioned that was not ideal. We then replied with reasonable frustration to their text asking Desert Rose Ranch to please explain why they decided to inform us of the need to reschedule, not only for the second time, but also at the very last hour before our lesson was to begin when they had ample time to diligently redress the schedule appropriately ahead of time. Desert Rose Ranch bluntly replied with a canned response stating that all decisions and changes are made based on safety concerns for riders and horses. We completely agree that safety is paramount, however Desert Rose Ranch poorly failed at properly planning and scheduling the riders and horses ahead of time, thereby resulting in last minute, unacceptable corrective measures at the expense of their clients. Once we expressed our disappointment to Desert Rose Ranch, they responded that they will make some changes and that we should go ahead and still show up for our lesson. The preparation and distance alone to travel to Desert Rose Ranch is by no means a simple and effortless undertaking. The question we now ask is Desert Rose Ranch compromising their safety protocols by allowing us to still participate in a now overcrowded ring? By this stage, we then requested to speak to the owner of Desert Rose Ranch. We sent this request at 8:27am. We have received absolutely no response for the remainder of the entire day from neither the owner nor anyone else on behalf of Desert Rose Ranch. Meanwhile, Desert Rose Ranch gladly accepted our prepayment of the lesson in advance of the lesson. It is baffling how Desert Rose Ranch treats its clients in such a despicable and unprofessional manner. We are disgusted with such disrespectful consideration. One can only justifiably consider the question that this poor treatment of their clients possibly extends to the innocent animals in their care.

Then they called me suddenly Thursday morning one hour before the rescheduled lesson , at which point we were already dressed and on the way. Honestly, this is disappointing. At the end of this havoc, they decided to ignore me even after asking the for the owner to respond. What a disgrace. Never come here even if you are desperate. I rarely find myself having to leave negative reviews, but this experience was awful.
