The venue itself is just gorgeous, when I walked into the beautiful (air conditioned) barn for the first time I actually had tears in my eyes. If you are looking for a country style venue with class and SO much CHARM, this is it. All the decor was included (although you are welcome to bring your own). They have endless decor options to choose from - table runners/lanterns/plate chargers/florals/greenery/candles/card box/etc...I didn't have to buy any of this! Michelle & Lisa are an amazing team, they are extremely knowledgeable, organized, and friendly. They made sure every little detail was perfect and exactly what I wanted. Included with the venue you are given a day of coordinator (Lisa was amazing).. She made sure everything went smoothly and communicated with my vendors so I could enjoy my day. I honestly couldn't imagine if I didn't have her. They offer packages that include vendors such as catering/DJ/etc, or you can just book the venue and choose your own vendors. Side note - I chose to just book the venue and book my own vendors.. after months of searching I ended up choosing all the same vendors that they would have included to begin with (which were also amazing). Quality golf balls, good shortgame area, practice greens in fantastic shape. I'm not a member but was there for Mike and everyone was incredibly friendly. Mike Bennett: What an asset to this club. I seriously want to move to Palm Beach just so I can take more lessons with him. His DVD and then in person lessons changed my game forever. Not only is it more fun to play. My ball striking is better than it has ever been and even though we spent zero time on my shortgame the changes we made in my full swing have improved my wedges, pitching, and chipping as well. I cannot say enough good things about Mike. I played Bay Hill after visiting Ironhorse and dollar for dollar my experience with Mike Bennet on the Ironhorse range was the best golf experience of my lifetime.

The preserve is well-maintained and contains much worse seeing - the problem is the asinine Village…read moreof Wellington has blocked off access from most Of Wellington - for residence of the city who want to drive from Wellington. They must take a dirt road which often contains a sign warning auto not to take it - why? Because the city of Wellington refuses to pave roads- therefore the best access is from the bumper-to-bumper traffic of southern Boulevard ie highway 98. This means that even if you live a mile or two from the preserve, it can take 15 to 20 minutes or more to reach to preserve because the city of Wellington does not permit access from Wellington itself.

The facility has a gorgeous covered arena and is kept with care by the staff but even more importantly the horses are super happy and handled beautifully. Aside from the proper grooming and training, the horses are truly treated with respect and seem to have a very personalized approach based on their skill level and personalities. No corners are cut here. The buzz at this barn is quite special with a very forward looking and encouraging energy; I look forward to continue to grow here as a competitive rider.

The owner, Alison, puts the horses and her clients over her own needs ANY day. In the short time I have been with her, I've learned so much about horse care and equitation. We've taken a table at this indoor garage market at the expo center for several years. It's not…read morejust once a year (annual) anymore as this year alone there have been 3 sales, so far. Held in either the Expo West or Expo East -- or both as they connect --depending on how many folks sign up to exhibit/sell. Vendors tend to be a mix of antique dealers, homeowners, store/former store owners, and people who do the flea market circuit on a regular basis. There are all sorts of items sold here from furniture to clothes to housewares -- some new -- including crafts -- and a lot used or vintage. You never know what you'll find. This past weekend there were even folks selling Christmas ornaments, fine china dining sets, musical instruments, and large ceramic statues. Held on a Saturday, gates open to the early bird public buyers at 7 am for $7 and at 8 am for regular hours for $6 which means until 2 pm. Vendors must keep their booths open until 2 pm. Parking is ample and the Expo is easily accessed in the fairgrounds just off Southern Boulevard. If you like a bargain or just to browse, put on your comfortable shoes and spend a fun day. PS Bring cash as most vendors prefer to take this method of payment. There is an ATM machine on site by the concession stand. Food at the concession stand is a bit expensive. Some of the dedicated visitors come for a bit; Get a new ticket to reenter and go out for lunch and come back. There are restrooms near the concession stand, as well.
