The Sandi tree is quiet during the day. Journey Church set up all kinds of rides and even a bounce house. After dark there is music & a light show.

Super fun way to spend an evening. Light show starts @6 and goes every 15 minutes with music. It was a beautiful night and great location on the water. What a fun time

This is such a cool place! My parents surprised me with a trip to see sandi, I had no idea what we were going to, and I was pleasantly surprised to see a beautiful tree carved completely out of sand. We walked up at the perfect time, because it was right when the show started, and it was full of music and lights. The park this is located in is beautiful and well maintained, great to see family's out enjoying the light show, and festivities. There are also other fun sand sculptures, lights and fountain timed to music. This is a great place for family's, friends and couples check it out if you are in the area.

Sandi Land is my most favorite Xmas light display. How is that ever possible, when every light display is my favorite(um, not really). But I love this one. It's my second time seeing it. Sandi Land is made of sand and the light show is spectacular and beautiful and the music is fun, upbeat, and modern. It's spaced out nicely in West Palm Beach and the detail out in to the sand sculpture is amazing!! This definitely made my Xmas extra special.

Where can you find the world's only 700 ton sand Christmas tree? Downtown West Palm Beach of course! It's located just off of Clematis Street in Flagler Park. There is plenty of cheap parking in the nearby city garage. It cost me only $1 to park. This is the 9th year Sandi is making an appearance and West Palm Beach's holiday activities center around it. The tree has become so popular that it has attracted national attention. Before we even celebrated Thanksgiving, sand was delivered for the massive sculpture. Sculptors from Sarasota-based Team Sandtastic did the sculpting which took a week. They had just finished the tree when the next night teenage vandals climbed over the flimsy fence and defaced part of the tree. The damage was estimated at over $1,000 but fortunately it has been repaired. This years theme is surf's up. In addition to the large tree there is a smaller sand sculpture and plenty of holiday photo opportunities. It really is Christmas in paradise. The free light show runs every evening on the quarter hour between 6 and 10 PM. If there is one negative to this fantastic holiday display it is the number of panhandlers that take advantage of the crowds. One guy sat next to me on a bench and kept touching my arm while asking for money. Another guy had a dog and had his kid going up to people asking for money. That one upset me the most and I ended up leaving. It is a stark reminder that in the shadow of some of the largest mansions and richest people is another segment of the population out on the street. The way people were trying to get close against me, I got the feeling there could be pick pockets in the crowd. If you go just be aware of what is going on around you.

Sandi the tree is a beautiful experience year after year! Our family loves the environment and the fun, and our 6 year old loves to run around and chase the lights on the ground. Definitely recommended!

Music! Lights! Water fountains! Sand (lots of sand)! The Sandi holiday extravaganza this year is one of the best ever, combining festive songs, choreographed dancing waters, and an amazing light show. It's a fun - and a bit hokey - performance which is entertaining and amusing. The best part is the accompanying light show on the royal palm trees lining the roadway behind the Sandi tree. It's mesmerizing! And don't forget to take a look at the sand sculptures nearby. Impressive works of art.

What a great public service provided by the city of West Palm Beach. A great family affair and super fun to visit during Christmas. Wow, just a wonderful production of lights, sound, music and water entertainment!! Open until the end of December.

Florida holidays are quite different than a New York one. But, snow birds flock here every year to enjoy our paradise. With that in mind, where else would you find a Christmas tree made of sand? It brings people to Downtown West Palm, and puts some sparkle back into the diminishing business community. This is where families can gather to welcome in the new year. The tree brought me here. I walked all over this area, venturing into places I haven't been. So, the purposes of this tree are plenty. Enjoy Florida during the holidays.

As an annual event during the Christmas season, the sand sculptures are not only creative, they are beautiful. I love the way they incorporate the holiday with the Florida vibe. Everything from flamingos to jet skis. I have never come over to watch the artists make their creations but walking around the grassy area is very nice. I believe that when the sun sets, the lighting is pretty spectacular. This year, having safety precautions added for Covid, they have very specific and strict rules for patrons to follow. At the entrance, they were handing out complimentary seasonally decorated disposable masks, there was plenty of signage and there were arrows for walking directions. The weather was okay the day that I walked around and I was there in the morning so it was not very crowded. This was a bonus so I could take my pictures and not have to wait for people to move from the sand sculptures. I believe the sand sculptures are kept up until just after the new year and then they bring in tractors to plow them and recycle the sand to other places. I look forward to next year and hope they continue this outdoor event.

Held in either the Expo West or Expo East -- or both as they connect --depending on how many folks sign up to exhibit/sell. Vendors tend to be a mix of antique dealers, homeowners, store/former store owners, and people who do the flea market circuit on a regular basis. There are all sorts of items sold here from furniture to clothes to housewares -- some new -- including crafts -- and a lot used or vintage. You never know what you'll find. This past weekend there were even folks selling Christmas ornaments, fine china dining sets, musical instruments, and large ceramic statues. Held on a Saturday, gates open to the early bird public buyers at 7 am for $7 and at 8 am for regular hours for $6 which means until 2 pm. Vendors must keep their booths open until 2 pm. Parking is ample and the Expo is easily accessed in the fairgrounds just off Southern Boulevard. If you like a bargain or just to browse, put on your comfortable shoes and spend a fun day. PS Bring cash as most vendors prefer to take this method of payment. There is an ATM machine on site by the concession stand. Food at the concession stand is a bit expensive. Some of the dedicated visitors come for a bit; Get a new ticket to reenter and go out for lunch and come back. There are restrooms near the concession stand, as well.

The Lester's also founded Art Miami, Art Asia Hong Kong, American International Fine Art Fair and Art Boca Raton. The show was acquired by the Palm Beach Show Group in 2022 who also puts on the LA Art Show. Art Palm Beach is the largest and longest mid winter art fair in the Palm Beaches. This art show is dedicated to exhibiting the contemporary, emerging and modern masterworks of 20th and 21st century art. Seventy-six national and International galleries showcased their work for sale. There were also several art museums presenting at the show including the Boca Raton Museum of Art, MOCCA (Museum of Contemporary Art of the Americas), and the Danubiana Museum of Art in Bratislava, Slovakia. Art mediums included photography, painting, design, fine art glass, metal, gems, sculpture, and video. Displayed in front of the convention center was Ominka by artist Viktor Freso. The large, inflated bear was covered in blue brooch's inspired by a sentimental costume brooch purchased by artist Viktor Freso's grandmother in 1964 in the United States when she was pursuing a singing career and then taken back to Slovakia. Another stand out art piece was Project Eternal Light from the Reflectspace Gallery displayed in its own area as soon as you walked in to the event. Artist Han Ho's nine lighted panels depicts an apocalyptic end of the world for humanity and was inspired by Michelangelo's Last Supper. A featured exhibition was Big Birk, a 19 foot high, 16 foot long Birkin Bag. It is billed as the world's largest Hermes, Birkin Bag. One of my favorite pieces was the interactive Breakfast by Sydney Warming Sea. Software, a camera, and a computer flips foil on discs into your image when you stand in front of it. There was so much other eye catching art. I especially enjoyed anything featuring animals, light, or kinetic movement. Tickets to this show were $35 but if you follow the galleries on Instagram before the show, some of them give out free tickets. If you pay extra for the VIP tickets there was a private lounge in the center of the convention floor. There was also a Friday night gala for an additional price. During the show there was food and drinks for sale. Parking was offered in the convention center garage for $5 for two hours. Allow a few hours to see everything. There was ample seating on the convention floor in between galleries. This was my first time attending this event and I loved everything about it.

We were lucky enough to be invited as guests of our friends who it seems have gone for years. We met them at the convention center (there's easy parking in the attached garage or you can valet park). Some 85 international galleries had exhibits of all mediums of art. It was like going to a very upscale museum. There was no set traffic pattern here. You could wander in and out of the exhibits as you wished. You could spend as much time as you wanted admiring what you liked. Many items had prices on them. Some were priced "on request". In the middle of the exhibit was a coffee shop/snack bar where you could sit and rest and have a bite. I especially liked some of the kinetic sculptures, the Chihuly glass, and the big "moon" installation. Our friends were drawn to some of the paintings. Such creativity using various methods and mediums -- like an eagle that was made of buttons strung on filament. Or the heart shaped sculpture made out of paint and paint brushes. A number of palm beachers were here to see and be seen. Their outfits were equally as attractive and interesting as the artwork. If you like art, even if you're not in the high rollers league to be a buyer, come here at least to browse. It's a great show!

I invited my bestie and set off to this adventure, we took the Tri-Rail north to West Palm Beach and we were ready to have a good time! Upon check in we received two drink tickets and four taster tickets each (was plenty). The event was a the Meyers Amphitheatre which has a stage for performance and a big field. We noticed it was quite empty for this big space. We walked around and checked out the vendors and had some bites before we consumed the drinks. I must say the food vendors were delicious here is my list of food vendors I tried: Nancy's Cajun Cooking: Jambalaya $8 - We had one of the best Jambalaya's I've ever had. There was hot sauce to add but it didn't need any. Had plenty of chunks of seafood, meat & chicken. Aioli: Candied Bacon $3 x 2 slices - It was instant gratification on the first bite. My face said it all and the girl behind the counter said "I told you it was good". Indeed it was! Sxs: had fresh oysters. I didn't buy anything here but Alex made me try an oyster that tasted like it had just been plucked out the sea. So fresh, so good. I will make it a point to go visit their restaurant. Mad Hops: a vendor that sales drops to add to bad beer. Yes you read correctly... they have flavored drops to add for example a Miller lite. They have many flavors including cherry, blueberry, hops etc. Great idea but I rather never ever buy bad beer. There was a beer tent where you can sample different beers, most I knew (Funky Budha), some I haven't tried before (Five & 20). They were poured into 4 oz tasting cups. What I did not like is that the bartenders did not know what they were pouring, they knew nothing about the products. I saw many festival goers ask about the types of beers and recommendations and heard the girls say they didn't know anything about the beers, they were just serving them. In my opinion I think this is crucial to have bartenders know what they are serving, it is a beer festival and you should know a little bit about it. There was also another tent serving drinks in a plastic mason jar for $14 and refills were $12. Those drinks were good and strong. The bands that were playing were mostly Alternative Rock, I felt bad because the crowd just wasn't there. No one was jamming by the stage everyone was mostly walking around, eating and drinking. Also they were playing radio commercials in between bands, that was quite annoying. The highlights were meeting fellow Elite Raymond K. and his wife. They were awesome. Raymond hooked it up with some grub from the VIP tent sponsored by 3 Forks. I have to say their food was amazing. I had the Lobster Mac & Cheese and the Filet Mignon with Bearneise sauce on the side, oh so delicious! There was also a tattoo competition that was pretty funny to see. Proceeds of this event went to Friends of Foster Children, that was sweet. Overall, I had a great time but I think this festival needs some work. Entry should include a drink or a taster. I think it was a little expensive considering the beers were mostly known beers and not that exclusive for it to be a Craft Beer festival. I think with less expensive tickets or a better package there will be more attendees. Also having the bartenders learn more about the beer that they are serving is a plus. Would love to come back next year and see if there are changes to the fest. Thank you for the tickets Yelp West Palm Beach!

When I went on opening night, I was surprised to see that it wasn't busy. On the other hand, it was nice not having to wait in line to get drinks or food. There was a variety of spirits and cocktails that were generously poured by each bartender. The food options weren't too shabby either. The three cheese grilled cheese and candied bacon from Aioli is a must if you go there. Plus, there was a local band playing music for all to enjoy while sipping and eating. The weather was perfect. It wasn't too chilly or too warm for the festival. It was nice having to be outside without having to wear a sweater to warm up on. The food and beverages were plentiful and good. The staff was upbeat and happy to serve whatever we wanted. Thank you Yelp West Palm for the awesome opportunity and all of the tickets that came with it. Cheers!
