No I'm not a professional (in other words, I do not get paid to train my horse), but I have brought up several horses, I trained yearlings to 3 year-olds for a Morgan horse farm and have ridden and shown since I was 4 years old. I am very happy at Triple C Farm, where I am not looked down upon for not employing a professional trainer. The owners are fantastic - so kind and knowledgeable. There are cameras set up for our access to watch our horses when we are not there! There are nice bright lights in the barn ("crappy barn" lights are so lame)! The place is spotless! I can actually keep my tack trunk in an air-conditioned tack room rather than in front of a stall in a hot barn! Even the restroom is delightfully clean! Cold water in the fridge, beautiful wash racks, giant stalls with breezy windows and run-outs, nice soft sand arena, and also lovely - this is a farm! Chickens and cows and donkeys and a beautiful pond and property. Last but not least, the doods and urine go straight to a burn pile; very few flies around and no stinky barn. Weekends, it can turn into a lovely outdoor wedding venue. They have different stages for the ceremony, the reception, and dinner. They look like they may be equipped to handle a wedding party of 100, maybe more: you're going to have to ask them, since they don't seem to be actively promoting themselves as a wedding venue, at least not on the www. They had pictures of the bride, groom, family and friends put in rustic wooden frames over different parts of the spacious grounds. You can wander from one to the other, ooo and aah, all the while putting more steps on your Fitbit. Not sure if they also did the catering, but the food was pretty good too, even if they don't believe in rare (or even rarer) prime rib - they had great fresh crudites and the nicest cheese spread I've seen in eons at the reception before dinner. Dude made a mean martini for me, too, using a splash of chard in place of dry vermouth - interesting! Everything was out doors though, which carries with it some risks in Florida most of the year. If it's "...hey ho the wind and the rain", it could be a soggy affair. Day of the wedding, gray overcast skies and a forecast of rain threatened to do just that. But prayers were answered: not only did the clouds part, and Apollo decided to shine forth in all his glory, a pair of cranes flew over the lake before the ceremony started. Cranes are a symbol of long life, and a pair of them - that speaks for itself for a wediing. I'm not superstitious, but what's wrong with sending the happy couple off to their new life together with an extra measure of good wishes? p.s. This let us know that she was more concerned with our family having a good experience than making any money. Our kids had never rode a horse and they were able to learn how to groom, walk and ride 14.2 ponies. It was a great outdoor experience. Because we all know that afternoons in Florida can be full of rain, the covered ring is perfect. The kids were able to continue their lesson even though rain was coming down. The horses were friendly and receptive. Michele was accommodating and very kind towards our children. You can tel she just loves horses and riding. Our children did not want to leave!!

Her eyes where white but now she looks so sad and depressed. I use to ride there. I thought they where a good ranch but no. They made me cry like my dog just died. My mom was so tired of them treating me so bad and she forced me off of the horse. One time i fell off and i almost got stepped on. And guess what i was 6 7 or 8 so i cried and they got a cookie because I FELL off. I had so much jumping ability that when i moved to a different ranch and within a year i had my first horse show and got 2 first places and reserved champion. I would have never got that while rode at desert rose. It was so hard to leave Mercedes but it was worth it... yes. I put up with it for 3-4 yrs
