I…read morehave been a patron for over 20 years, but am transitioning to another bank due to the decline in services within this branch as well as at the corporate level. The fees are significant and unfair, and the lack of staff knowlege has resulted in account errors that have been costly (depending on who you ask you will likely get a different answer). Should you make a mistake on your register (for example forget to deduct a random autopay from your balance) you will be charged $35 per item (even if the withdrawal is for less than $1) in the order they came in. Within a day this mistake will easily and unfairly cost you over $200 and common sense cannot be negotiated, and they won't consider reversing the fees no matter how silly they seem. So, if you are at any risk of making a simple mistake on your register for less than a cup of coffee, I recommend you bank elsewhere. Its unfortunate, because switching banks after 20 years is a pain but makes sense for me...because chances are I will at some point forget to add that cup of coffee to my register and I will need some understanding and grace from the person I am speaking with at my bank so that it doesn't become a $200 mistake. A few months ago, I had a restaurant incorrectly charged me over $1000 on my bill (I paid with my credi/debit card). I didn't realize it until the next day when I looked at my bank account online. Since then, I have opened a new checking account there and she as well as the other employees at this branch were so helpful. Next I will be opening a savings account there. Before moving our checking over, we had my car loan here. We currently have our truck loan and a credit card through them, as well. The process for opening our new checking account was very easy. My husband initially opened the account online, and we went into this location later on that day to add me to the account, and also to get our checks ordered. The staff was very nice and made everything go smoothly. While we were there that day, we were also able to refinance our truck loan and lower our monthly payment, without extending the life of the loan! We are very glad to be customers of Chase Bank, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

They genuinely care about helping and doing a good job for customers. They made the PPP loan application and forgiveness process a hundred times easier than I think any other bank would have. When I came into the St. Francis location, I met with Kim, who was super nice and helpful. She followed up with me multiple times over the next week to keep me updated on the status of my accounts. Daniel helped me right away and when I inquired about a wire versus a cashier's check, whichever was cheaper, he recommended the cashier's check given the wire cost. That worked just fine for me and within a minute I had everything I needed to go on about my day. The entire transaction was seamless and he even gave me an envelope to put the check in. I added my wife, who was also a previously on my account and has held a mortgage and a car loan with the credit union. I asked to set up the fast cash feature of the bank app (so I could deposit checks with my phone). I've used similar services at other banks, and I've never had issues. I was told it would take several business days to get it activated. Weeks later it was still not working, so I called again. This time I was told the feature world not be activated for a year. I protested as said that someone else had a agreed to activate it. They apparently dug up the phone call and listened to the conversation, and agreed to activate the feature, but said typically that they wouldn't do it for one year. Today I deposited a $250 check, and then tried to deposit a $1500 check. I was told I exceeded the limit for deposits. I would deposit the check in person, but only the drive through is open, and it's habitually under staffed, with a line of cars around the block waiting for service. ECU does not meet my expectations, I intend to find a new bank.
