On June 1, 2018 I received a text from a tenant asking if she could take her rent directly to my bank. I replied as long is it is ok with my bank. My tenant took the rent to Pyramax bank ($685.00) the teller called me on my cell phone telling me my tenant was at the bank doing a deposit and she wanted to know which account to deposit the cash into.(I have phone records showing the call) I told her my business account. I further told her to make sure my account information is not given to the tenant. I was out of state for 3 weeks upon my return I noticed the money was not deposited in my account. I called the teller and told her I was unable to find the deposit. She replied maybe there was another account open on her computer at the time and she may have deposited it there. I called her the next day and she could not find the deposit. I told her I never received a receipt in the mail for the deposit, The teller stated she gave the receipt to the tenant but crossed out my information. I told her she was suppose to send it to me not her. I then spoke to the branch manager who told me they were reviewing cameras and would get back with me but they did not get back. I called back to the waukesha branch and was told there was nothing on the cameras. I then contacted the vice president of Pyramax bank, Melissa at the Greenfield branch, who over a period of weeks told me she would look into cameras, IT department, phone calls... But I was told they could find no proof of the deposit or the tenant coming in. I was informed by some bank employees I know that the teller was fired. The VP really dragged things along then telling me to get my phone records to prove the teller called me. The VP told me the number to look for which was not the correct number but after a while I figured out what the forwarded number was which is routed out of Hales Corners Wisconsin. But the VP had no interest in my phone records did not even want to see them she agreed the best option for me may be an attorney. I then put my efforts towards contacting the Bank President Rick Hurd. It took me a week to get a hold of him and On 8/28/18 I spoke to Mr Hurd. I asked him if he had been briefed on what was going on he said yes I asked what the next step was and he replied nothing this issue is closed. I said you have not even talked to me about the issue. his response was and Im not going to this issue is closed we are not doing anything. I asked why they fired the teller involved with my missing money and he said it was not my concern. read more
