When changes on policies come through, they call you to discuss changes and how I can benefit from the changes. I initially had a phone appointment with James who discussed the changes coming for my auto policy and gave me clarification on how these policy changes would affect me. He was great in explaining. I then set up an in office appointment because I prefer to pay in person and get some information printed for my review. I met with Lynn who went over these changes and assisted me with understanding these changes again. Lynn spent time with me and I was very comfortable with my coverage. These things can be complicated and you want to know IF I need this in case of an accident, it's imperative to be covered! James and Lynn are SO knowledgeable and helpful. I couldn't have gotten such a clear understanding of benefits without them. I am completely happy with Dave's agency. They are always there for me and I greatly appreciate it!

I've been holding off writing this until my mom was able to write to Dave himself personally which…read moreI believe she has now done. My parents had Allstate home and auto for 38 years and were with Dave and his office specifically for I believe at least 10 of those years. Their home on 52nd and Cleveland was flooded due to once again the city's terrible job of water management and the basement walls caved in, scaring them as elders terribly. The house was a loss. My parents were so upset and shook that I took over the process of dealing with insurance and the City of Milwaukee. Of course I was told that they didn't have flood insurance but when I asked about sewer backup insurance I was told by an agent that my parents didn't have that either.....My mom said it was never offered and this is the first time she's heard of it. Never the less, the agent I spoke with told me that if he were to "get in the Allstate car and come out to the house, it was going to be denied as a claim and their insurance would GO UP!!!" Mind you, they never made a SINGLE CLAIM in those 38 years!! To add insult to injury they never received so much as a phone call, email, letter, ANYTHING from Dave himself personally to say sorry for their loss. Thanks for 38 years of premiums though, right? I suppose this review will be put on the "have to download the app" like the one other bad review while the good reviews are there for all to see. Of course Allstate and Dave have been dropped since. Be careful of these insurance people folks!! Sincerely, John Treuden Jr

I feel bad for those who have had negative experiences with Liberty Mutual home insurance. I read…read morethose reviews after a tree fell on our garage and worried about it. But, we had an excellent experience. We have had liberty mutual home insurance since 2005. They are the only company who will insure our home because it was built in 1850. They are also the most reasonable insurers. This incident was the first home loss claim we have filed. A tree fell on our house on a Saturday. We called emergency tree service first and then Liberty mutual. On Tuesday morning, the adjuster, Will, came to the house to inspect. He was very professional and understanding. He cut us a check on the spot for 1/3 of our policy limit. He added the tree service to his system so he could pay them directly, taking stress off of us. It took a while for us to find legitimate contractors. Once we did, I sent three estimates to Will. He reviewed them. I told him we were ready to start the work. Within three days, he stopped by our house with a check for the balance. On top of that all, he forgave our $1000 deductible because the garage ended up being way more expensive to replace than anyone could have guessed. My experience with Liberty Mutual has been nothing but excellent. He responded to phone calls and emails in a timely manner. I never felt abandoned or stranded throughout this entire process. Our rates only went up about $60 a year, which is nothing.
