Very nice , very friendly. they submitted the request. Later that day late afternoon person called me but I missed the call. I called back immediately since I was sure the answer to my request was what they were calling me for. Upon calling back was informed the person was on break but would call me back. I said no problem they could even call me the next day in the AM. well it's been 3 days and no call. I didn't bother to call back as I can assume my answer was NO to the loan but it would have been professional and courteous to speak to me and tell me. I've been in sales and dealt with customers for years and I never would have thought of just not calling back. Sad.

I rarely use ATM but Monday is basically the only free day I have to go to the bank this week because my son had no school due to Juneteenth. Unfortunately, banks are also closed. Was trying to decide which to go to during my lunch break (Santa Ana versus Tustin) yesterday and opted for the farther one from my work (because I'm from Hawthorne, not tryna die and know better) to withdraw money from ATM that's in a riskier area. Both my iPhone and Yelp say Tustin is still open, but this branch is def shutdown. Begrudgingly, I drove to Santa Ana and immediately noticed a dude sitting in a parked beige Lexus SUV with his rear view mirror in perfect view of the ATM. In a vacant bank parking lot. Where there are other spaces he could have taken. I thought, meh, I really need to use the ATM, so I did my thing but the card didn't work and went on my way. Aftering calling the bank on my drive back in to work my conscience got the best of me and I called the Santa Ana police to report the sketch dude in the vehicle sitting in the empty bank parking lot facing the ATM machine on a day it's closed. Be careful, everyone. Times are tough. Turns out when I got my wallet stolen from my office by a student at the trade school I worked at in November and had a new debit card reissued I forgot that I had switched a toggle button on my app that blocks use of my debit card at an ATM until I go into my app to unblock it that's a pretty nifty anti-theft feature. And reason #28373 that I'm a geriatric millennial. ‍

The management of the bank is unapproachable to point out how diffucult it is to get help. The poor service rep is left apologizing for these impediments when he or she has no conrol over the matter. Shame on Bank of America. The local bank is understaffed and the one time I went into it for cash since the atm does not print ones in over 2 years the line was 10 deep. The manager made an excuse it was lunch time and that the reason only one teller was aviable. What a poor way of providing customer service. How about back up like part time help or the manager himself behind the window? I rest my case.

Andres greeted me with a big smile and welcome right away and upon inquiring the nature of my visit took me over to the fantastic Jose who had the deposit slip and blue pen ready. Loved it! Jose was a bundle of energy and a great worker. Great conversation while taking care of the transaction 1-2-3! He covered everything and ensured all was good and if I needed anything else. Andres then took the baton again and did the extraordinary finish with the offer for a bottle of water( by the way no Chase bank in the US has done that) and walked me to the door. The other team members here were happy and relaxed. This branch is in the back of a shopping center and is next to the Mother's Market & Kitchen and Starbucks and across the street from the LA Fitness. I knocked off a star because only two tellers were working in the morning, and there was a bit of a wait. They do have a coin machine here in the branch - only one - could probably fit another coin machine given how big this branch is. Two ATMs upfront, but they are relatively older looking, so I opted to head inside to the tellers to do my cash transaction. They should consider upgrading their ATMs to the modern ones that SchoolsFirst recently rolled out county-wide. That said, the plus is that if you belong to a credit union, you can still pull cash fee-free from the Wescom ATMs in front of the branch.

Our experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. After going through the mortgage process and preparing for our scheduled closing, we were informed ONE BUSINESS DAY before closing that our loan would not move forward due to information that we believe could have been requested and addressed much earlier in the process. By that point, our household was packed, plans had been made, and we were preparing to move into our new home. The lack of timely communication and the late-stage decision left our family in an incredibly difficult position. A home purchase is one of the biggest commitments a family makes, and we expected a lender to provide clear communication, thorough review, and proper guidance throughout the process. Based on our experience, we feel Navy Federal did not meet those expectations. We have since moved forward with another lender and wish we had made that choice from the beginning. Unfortunately, the customer service at this branch is not what I would consider top-tier. There seems to be far too much personal conversation and chitchat, and not enough focus on providing efficient and professional customer service when it comes to assisting customers with deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions. I have visited this branch several times specifically to observe how customers are treated, and I have noticed what appears to be a difference in the level of service depending on who you are or what you have. No customer should feel like they are treated differently simply because they may not have a significant amount of money in their account. This message is directed toward the branch manager or whoever is responsible for overseeing this location: customer service needs to be improved across the board, and that improvement starts with leadership.
