The wall was done quickly and the quality is good per our building inspector, though he did say there were a few things he would've done differently. It is warrantied for 5 years. Shortly after the wall was finished, I provided the final payment with the understanding the job would be finished the following day. Two months later, after rescheduling 5 times for​ many reasons, the driveway patch was done yesterday. They resealed the driveway for free for our inconvenience. I paid $9500 for all work done. He reduced it to $100 when I got emotional. He also told me he would have his men cut "V's" into my tree belt to avert any pooling of water on the sidewalks. Didn't happen. I asked him to clean up some piles of dirt and stones that they had kicked up but that didn't happen either. He does the job, and the driveway and walkway look good. All the other companies we had gotten estimates from were unbelievably overpriced, and not willing to start right away. I was concerned about damage to my lawn from the bobcat carrying the heavy wood to replace the wall. Not only was there no damage at all, but they cleaned up and took away all the rotted wood.
