In the "rubble" they found many bricks, stones, and "whatnots" that had, with time, become overgrown with dirt, bushes, and small trees, and must have been some old, long forgotten gardens by owners who had lived here for over 70 years. (It became more like an archaeological dig!) It was a huge challenge, but Antonio and his wonderful crew were easy to work with, very accommodating of my requests, worked very hard and without complaint -- just and awesome experience overall -- I can't praise them highly enough! OH!, and then they resurfaced the whole yard, added loam, seeded and raked, and now I am looking forward to the first blades of grass! Their prices are reasonable, too. Harry the owner was extremely friendly, humble, and motivated, and was ready to get started the next day. All the other companies we had gotten estimates from were unbelievably overpriced, and not willing to start right away. I was concerned about damage to my lawn from the bobcat carrying the heavy wood to replace the wall. Not only was there no damage at all, but they cleaned up and took away all the rotted wood. They were done and gone in one day. The wall is now stable with new wood, and sure to last. He wasn't pushy or arrogant, and took the time to explain things without rushing.
