If it was an option to give 10/5 stars, I would. Alex and the team at Blush are truly magic makers. I don't even know where to begin other than saying they exceeded my wildest expectations beyond what words can explain. I was a bride with very minimal vision or inspiration for my wedding other than wanting it to be moody and romantic and beautiful. Alex took my hand and guided me through the entire process and helped me perfect the EXACT wedding of our dreams. She presented so many amazing options and made every decision a collaborative and exciting moment. I cannot imagine having planned an event, let alone my wedding, without the Blush team. They were so kind, fun, and supportive through every step and there work speaks for itself but photos will NEVER do it justice as to what her designs look like in person. Every single attendee of our wedding said "this is the most amazing wedding I've ever seen" and they were not lying. If you need a design team... Blush is the only option. I don't know where to begin. I am blown away by Alex and her team. They did not miss a single detail. From start to finish everything was executed beautifully. Her communication is incredible. Her style. Creativity. Design. Everything is off the charts. She makes all of your dreams come true. She goes above and beyond to ensure that everything is just how you want it. She will exceed all expectations. She's beautiful inside and out and her team is such a joy to work with. I loved everything she did. The flowers were sooo beautiful at our wedding. We had zero issues with her. I mean from ribbon selections, layout, selection of flowers, arrangements, styling, color, size, placement every little thing was PERFECT. I am truly grateful for blush botanicals. And extremely honored to have had her as part of the team on our biggest and best day. You could not pick a better florist for your event. It was a pleasure meeting and working with the girls from Blush. It wasn't easy planning for our wedding when we got married during a time when many of the flowers I hoped for were out of season (January wedding). But they came through on making beautiful pieces and provided amazing florals for our special day. (See photos for altar pieces.) Prices were reasonable, and ultimately on the big day, the flowers did not disappoint. read more

Words can NOT begin to describe how much I love Alex and Blush Botanicals. She and her team did our wedding at Coasterra in September and absolutely made our wedding dreams come true. Not only does she know everything about florals and design but she is also one of the nicest and most responsive vendors out there. I could email her with random questions or concerns and always count a quick response. We went for a industrial meets glamorous meets garden vibe for our wedding and her floral arrangements and design were INSANE. We wrapped poles with greenery, had white flowers everywhere, had a modern flower wall behind our sweetheart table, greenery everywhere and it was all magical. Her bridal bouquets were amazing, and she definitely brought my floral vision to life. Book her ASAP because you will not be disappointed you did. She is the BEST florist in the game and she will make your wedding INCREDIBLE. People are still talking about our florals today. Thank you Alex and Blush team!! We love you! read more

Blush Botanicals did the flowers and design at my wedding and the flowers for two other wedding week events. Alex, Brittany, and the entire Blush Botanicals team did an INCREDIBLE job. I could not have been happier with their work on all three events. Each and every hand placed flower was stunning. Communicating with Alex was very easy, and she always responds quickly and kindly (even if you feel like you are asking one million silly questions). My one piece of advice when working with them, tell them your ideas, colors, budget and let them take control of the design, you WILL NOT be disappointed. Alex designed exactly what I wanted before I even knew what I wanted. If I went back and did this all over again, I would 100% work with Blush Botanicals again. I cannot say enough good things about this team!! read more

We hired Blush Botanicals to do our florals at our wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum a few weeks ago. Let me start by saying Alex (the owner) is so easy to work with, VERY on top of it! Anytime I would email her with questions she would almost IMMEDIATELY reply back. I have always loved flowers, and knew they are a must at a wedding, but did not want to spend a fortune on them. I gave Alex a budget, she made sure to keep the cost in line! Let me just say... the flowers MADE the appearance of my wedding. Simply stunning. My husband and I were completely blown away by just how awesome every arrangement looked. Our guest could not stop complimenting and saying it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever seen, and the florals.....THE FLORALS!!!!!!! Could not be happier that we went with Blush.... they are the best in the business!!!!!! read more

Blush Botanicals = Over priced and over hyped. I recently experience first hand the poor customer service that they provided a bride with. Prior to the contract being signed and the flowers delivered, the customer service was spot on. They were attentive, friendly, and willing to earn the customer's business. As soon as there was an issue with the flowers, everything mentioned above went out the window. The bride had clearly stated that her theme color for her wedding was orange. The problem: there was orange everywhere else, but in her bridal bouquet (quite possibly the most important flower arrangement of the wedding day). When the bride called to state her concern, Blush Botanical was standoffish and quite frankly rude. They did offer one solution, to add orange orchid to the bouquet (but Blush Botanical said that it may die on the day of the wedding). Who wants dead flowers in their bouquet? Three Members of the wedding party rush to Blush Botanicals to find a more reasonable solution to the problem. Blush Botanicals once again state that they can not do anything, because to switch out the flowers for orange flowers would be time consuming. They could only add the orchids, because that did not require taking apart the bouquet. At that point there was no other solution, because some flowers was better then no flowers. A member of Blush Botanicals rolled her eyes, while she reluctantly added the orchids. For such expensive flowers, you would expect nothing but the freshest flowers. The flowers look wilted and sad. In this case, $$$ did not equal quality. People please save yourself the grief and go elsewhere. read more

We hired Blush Botanicals for our wedding at The Estancia Hotel, in La Jolla and they were personally the biggest surprise on our wedding day - it was above our expectations, it was just so good. They decorated the tree we got married under, and it turned out to be spectacular. We talked about a few details while we met with them, but we definitely didn't expect it to be THIS good. All of our guests told us how exceptional it was and that they've never been to a wedding that looks this good, they even told us it was like being in a dream. The ceremony site was so perfect, from the petals on the floor to the basket for our flower girl. Overall price was right, all of our florals were absolutely stunning, everything was very detailed and perfect. We can keep going for a long time, we have a lot of good things to say - we highly recommend Blush Botanicals. Thanks for making our wedding day the best day of our life :) read more

I have never hired Blush Botanicals but I did receive a quote from them for my sisters wedding. As a vendor myself, I have seen their work in person and they truly make the day magical. Both blush botanicals and Parker and Posies have the best customer service. We dealt with so many companies and Alex and Brittany were a breath of fresh air. Super organized and whatever is imaginable, they can create. They are also very informative and very helpful. They are truly the best in the industry. read more

Alex and Brittany from Blush were a great addition to the team my husband and I chose to work with for our wedding day. When I met the girls I instantly connected with them on a personal and professional level and I knew that they were as interested in our aesthetic as they could possibly be and that they would create a beautiful backdrop to our wedding day. As the bride I had moments of going back and forth with them on decisions several times and not once did I ever feel that I was a burden to them. The girls are extremely warm and engaging, knowledgable and above all else professional. On the wedding day the girls made several trips to both our ceremony and reception site to deliver the flowers and to take the flowers that they delivered and set up at the church to the reception site to set up for additional use. Our arrangements for the church ceremony were used for our reception as well and the girls at blush executed this transition seamlessly and basically allowed me to monopolize on the amount of arrangements at the reception. I had a last minute change in bridal bouquet ribbon color for my bouquet as well as bridesmaids and Alex and Brittany made the change happen the morning of the big day! The reception flowers were phenomenal! In addition to the arrangements, their rentals are far superior to anything I have ever seen anywhere else. I feel any bride would be blessed to have such beautiful flowers at her wedding. I know that we made the right choice to go with blush, the girls were so kind and dear to me throughout the year of planning I feel more like friends with them rather than their client. I feel that my choices for wedding vendors were chosen through several hours of research (magazines, wedding sites, theknot, GWS, SMP, etc...) If you are a savvy bride and are looking for a florist that offers highly textured, unique and bold bouquets this is a place to check out on your search for the perfect florist. read more

Alex and her wonderful team put together the flowers for my wedding at the beginning of October. From our very first meeting, she understood the type of look that I was going for and she sketched some great design ideas. Throughout the whole process, Alex was very professional and helpful. Our wedding was at the Rancho Bernardo Inn- it is a beautiful setting to start off with but she made it look incredible. The ceremony was outside and the canopy or 'chuppah' that we got married under was stunning. The reception was inside a ballroom and I couldn't believe how nice she made all the tables look. She also decorated my wedding cake with flowers really elegantly. Overall we had a great experience and I would recommend her services to any other bride that is interested in having beautiful flowers at their wedding. read more

Alex and Brittany at Blush Botanicals did an outstanding job with the flowers for my wedding!! I had a vision and they executed it beyond my belief! They even worked with my fiancee's budget! I have high class taste, but sometimes a small class budget.. They were super educated with what flowers would look beautiful together. I wanted simple, modern and elegant with ivory and white flowers. They decorated my ceremony site, reception site and did the bouquet's and corsages. I got so many compliments on my wedding, on how beautiful it was. And to be honest, when I saw everything for the first time, it took my breath away! Alex of Blush Botanicals did an outstanding job at our wedding. The flowers were exceptional, and so unique, in every way. The ceremony and reception came alive with beauty. We received so many compliments. It was everything we dreamed of and more.  Alex is a botanical expert, a hard worker and a creative thinker. She and her team created stunning arrangements that hung from the chandeliers. I had seen so much of their work, I knew I would be happy on my wedding day, but it was even more than I expected. Everything was amazing. My bridal bouquet was the most gorgeous bouquet I have ever seen. Guests kept telling me how beautiful the centerpieces were. They were a huge part in the overall fell and experience of the wedding. I mentioned that I would love to reuse whatever flowers we could from the ceremony (to save money) and they did it seamlessly and beautifully! Adding such lovely touches throughout the reception! And when I went a little out of control with floral ideas, they even let me know some cost saving tips and what they would recommend to get the same effect but keep the flowers budget friendly! I would, and have recommended them to ever Bride I have met! And my sister who has met with a number of florists in the San Diego area is using Blush Botanicals for her wedding later this year. My fiance and I are planning a small, quick wedding prior to him deploying to Iraq in December. Our plan is to have a big, full wedding reception next year (after he gets back and our daughter is born). Did some research for florists near my office, and found Blush Botanicals - saw great reviews so came by on a Tuesday afternoon. Walked in with my mom - since we had found the location via yelp, we did not know there was a required appointment time to talk to someone. When we came in we explained what we were looking for, and were told to wait for someone who worked on their smaller wedding side - something & posey (can't remember exactly what it was called). She came out and introduced herself, was super friendly, and asked questions about what we were looking for. Explained they normally require an appointment, but was happy to help us as she had a bit of extra time. She asked me about my wedding, what we were looking for, and took a lot of notes. About halfway through us talking, a woman named Alex walked in, shocked to see us sitting in the front area, and when the girl we were working with said we had walked in and she had some time, Alex made it very clear and reminded us 2 more times that they only see people by appointment. Got it. Appointment required. She then proceeded to the back, while the girl and my mom and I kept discussing what we were looking for. At the end she asked what price I was looking to stick to- I had only gotten one other quote, so I went off of that as a general number, but explained I was completely open to whatever she thought would be required based on what I said I wanted. I told her that I trusted her to give me accurate numbers based on the flowers I chose, the vases, etc. She told me she would work on putting a quote together and that I would have it by the end of the week. Two weeks later I have nothing. Never got a quote, a phone call, a voicemail. It's such a shame considering their glowing reviews, and the fact that we were not only looking for someone for our small wedding, but for our big reception at the end of next year. Clearly we will be taking our business elsewhere since our "small" wedding was not big enough of a job for them to work on. read more

I definitely got the "sensei" and student approach with my Blush Method courses. I have an MBA, and I can proudly say that taking her course is worth that and more!! I understood how to build traction in my business within a month, and really understanding my brand. Her courses taught me interpersonal communication, finance, management, operations & systems, goals, and most importantly, believing in my work and the potential to scale. Blush Botanicals was my first option and only option when it came to florals. Their published work dazzled me and I just envisioned my reception with their lush and opulent florals. When I met Alex I felt soo confident in my choice. I knew she was my dream flower girl! I knew she knew exactly what I dreamed and imagined and she did it even better than I imagined. Never ever did I have to tell her "no I don't like that" to any of the suggestions she made. She inspired me, and she basically designed my wedding. She took care of the florals and the linen design and order. I just gave her my theme, the colors and she went from there. All I had to do was say "ok!" Now when it came to budget, I completely went over mine but only because it was hard to say no to such beautiful ideas. She was never pushy! In fact I was the one that kept adding more and more because I knew whatever I asked her to make would be done beautifully and it really was. My guests were just amazed with the florals. It was a Gatsby Theme and it was just beautiful. I can't thank her enough. I had last minute flower girls and on the night before I asked Alex if she can provide a couple roses or any flowers for my 5 flower girls... There are not enough stars on Yelp to express the absolute love and respect I have for the work of Blush Botanicals! After getting engaged in February, I knew I wanted to tackle a few things right off the bat - location, dress and florals. I met with three different vendors, but knew immediately that Blush was the way to go. Alex and Brittany were professional, friendly, SO creative and they nailed my vision (rustic elegance) right off the bat. After signing that contract, I felt like I had hired more than just a floral vendor, I felt like I had hired two friends who cared so much about making my day the most special it could be. They responded to every email promptly and professionally and went WAY above and beyond their job responsibility offering guidance on the event layout, linens, additional decor, etc. From day one I knew that as long as they were involved, my wedding day would be perfect. And BOY was it perfect. It's one thing to see your vision written out on paper, but it's something entirely different when you see it in person. It was beyond anything I could have ever imagined and better than any photo I showed them for inspiration. When mine and the bridesmaids bouquets were delivered to the room, I nearly started crying. I had never seen anything so beautiful....that is until I got to the reception. The florals were overwhelmingly gorgeous. Everyone commented on them all night and I continue to get compliments from guests. I wish flowers lived forever so I could still enjoy those beautiful arrangements. If you are getting married or hosting an event, I HIGHLY recommend Blush Botanicals. They will bring your vision to life in a way you could never imagine.
