It was such a joy meeting Leigh for the first time--through the bushes behind our suite, no less! The florals were one of the things I was most excited to see on our wedding day, and Leigh did not disappoint. Every arrangement was elegant, timeless, and absolutely stunning. I cannot give enough praise to Leigh and her team at Posies. They made my wedding dream vision a reality, which completed the whole vibe. I have received endless compliments about the flowers at my wedding, many saying it is what they will remember most about the evening. I can't say enough great things about Leigh and her team. I was pretty defeated by the time I was referred to Leigh because multiple florists had fell through. She was so excited to help me and was very kind throughout the whole process. She was quick to respond to emails and came up with additional ideas for the wedding. Her final touches made our rave theme come alive in a classy way. We received a lot of compliments from our guests about our flower arrangements. She also incorporated disco balls and they looked amazing. My eyes were welling up when I saw the venue before the guests arrived. I would highly recommend going with this vendor. All the arrangements were to die for. Thank you so much, Leigh!!!! read more

Leigh was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish during our entire wedding process! Flowers were something really important to me and I didn't want to skimp out. I reached out to a handful of florists and she was the first to get back to me. She spent over an hour on the phone with me to talk about my vision and took the time to take clips from my Pinterest board and put together a whole proposal. I cannot say enough how PERFECT our flowers were. Leigh and her team crushed it. Highly recommend! read more

I called in the afternoon and Posies managed to deliver local flowers that same afternoon. The arrangement with a pretty vase filled with hydrangea, dahlias and casablanca lilies. All of which are actually expensive flowers, but they still managed to keep in my budget. Posies even texted a photo of the arrangement to my cell. I would certainly use them again in the future when ordering for the San Diego Area. read more

Leigh helped make our vision come to life. She was amazing. She knew exactly what we had in mind for our theme and executed beautifully. The day of our wedding when we stepped into the space, both my husband and I were shocked to see that it was more beautiful than we imagined. She added flowers to a macrame backdrop that my sister made. Those finishing touches brought it together so well. And I absolutely loooved my bouquet and the boutonnieres too. She was so easy to communicate with and helped ease the stress of planning a wedding. I highly recommend Posies. I can't thank Leigh enough for her lovely work! I feel fortunate that we found her. read more

Leigh is nothing short of a magician. Even that description seems like an understatement. She has the ability to really understand the vibe and visual effect that her clients are trying to create and manages to bring it to life and elevate it to a level that you didn't even think was possible. Not to mention, she's just plain awesome. Leigh created the most incredible backdrop for our sweetheart table and the most gorgeous centerpieces for our tables. It was nothing short of magical and more beautiful than I ever could have imagined (and I have quite the imagination). After deciding to use Posies for our wedding, I found a bunch of photos from different places online that had the right look I was hoping to achieve & when I showed them to Leigh, she laughed: they were all weddings she had done. No joke Every. Single. One. There's no one better. Two of my friends used her for their weddings as well and even though their aesthetic was completely different than mine, she nailed those weddings too. There isn't anything she can't do. Aside from being amazing at what she does, she's incredibly easy to work with. Leigh delivers and goes above and beyond to make things extra gorgeous. Everything she touches turns into the most beautiful thing you've ever seen. Pure magic. read more

If I could give Leigh 10 stars - I would. She was AMAZING to work with. When we first started planning our wedding back in 2019 I had one vision, then covid hit and we changed it completely. Leigh was SO creative and we really entrusted her to bring out her creativity and I could not be more impressed. Leigh is so sweet and is so great to bounce ideas off of. If you are still searching for a wedding florist, look no further. I have been to 100 weddings, and while I might be biased, my wedding flowers were the most beautiful I've ever seen. read more

I ordered a flower arrangement from Posies for my mom"s birthday and Andi who took my order was so helpful! She even sent me a picture of the arrangement before delivering it and I was so pleased with the outcome. They used a nice array of 7 different flowers (I asked for bright cheerful colors) and lots of green fillers to add that special grandeur touch topped with the perfect black & white striped bow. Very happy with my order and will definitely order from them again! read more

Working with Leigh at Posies Flowers was more than I could have ever asked for. She knew exactly what I was looking for after our first meeting and the end result truly was BETTER than I could have dreamed. I can't tell you how many people mentioned how the flowers looked more beautiful than the pictures on Pinterest. She also worked with us to meet our budget (recommended doing centerpieces on half the tables, etc). Leigh was so great to work with and I highly, highly recommend! read more

8 years later and I still tear up when I think of how incredible Leigh is, I saw her work and knew that there would be no one else, I remember showing her colors I liked and other little things that I thought were pretty, I told her that SHE was the artist and I asked her to just do what she does best, and she delivered, to this day, I've not seen anything better than what she did for our wedding. I'm still thanking you, thank you. read more

So one of my besties is having a destination wedding.. but before the wedding she and her fiancé decided to have a courthouse ceremony.. now she's not the typical bride.. Like forreals.. let's just say when the coordinator at the resort sent her a checklist of her preferences.. she basically sent it back blank because it didn't matter what flowers she had or the color of the table cloths.. all that mattered was that the people who she cared about was going to be there.. meanwhile I would be THAT bride! So when she told me she didn't have any flowers for her courthouse ceremony I was NOPE!! No friend of mine is NOT gonna have a bouquet!! So I call up Posies and talked to Melissa. She was AWESOME!! I basically told her.. soooooo my friend is a hippie.. annnnndddd even though she doesn't want a bouquet she's gonna get one... did I tell you she hates roses? Annnnnd I need this by tomorrow.. Melissa immediately had a vision and even asked what her dress looked like.. she did say she might have to throw in a few roses in there but she assured me she would still keep my hippie rose hating friend in mind.. (she didn't say "hippie rose hating friend".. that's just how I describe her haha) Needless to say my friend LOVED her bouquet!! She said that even though she didn't want one she's glad that she did and if she had a vision for her perfect bouquet this would be it!!! So thank you Melissa and Posies sooooooo grateful you guys made this happen!! P.S. Melissa told me that his boutonnière might be a rose and I told her that it was fine but she found a last minute replacement and he loved it too!! read more

I am so impressed... just had to write a quick review. I just called Posies about an hour ago after I learned a friend had won a job promotion she was up for. I found Posies on yelp since it's close to this friend, and the reviews looked positive so I called in. Ordered an arrangement to be delivered to friend's place of work with a congratulatory note. I didn't specify flowers or colors, just said I wanted it to look nice and fresh. She asked my for my budget and said it was perfect (I hate it when florists try to convince you to spend more because it won't be enough, etc.) I placed this phone order at 12:03PM, a little over an hour ago. It's 1:06PM and I just got a text and photo from the friend raving about the flowers that were just delivered. Are you kidding me?!?! Thanks for the amazing experience and FAST service. I'll be back! read more

I live in NYC and wanted to send some flowers to my sister in San Diego for her 18th birthday last December. She had had a pretty crappy year, culminating with the loss of her horse in a tragic accident. What a shitty time to have a huge birthday. I felt helpless so far away, but knew I wanted to at least try to brighten her day with some gorgeous flowers. With your run-of-the-mill discount flower sites always being unpredictable, or just predictably awful, I knew I needed to look elsewhere. Enter finding Posies on Yelp. I called and explained the basics and just said I wanted something colorful and pretty for my sisters big birthday. And let her know my budget. And left the rest up to her. So obviously I was very happy to see via FaceTime the beautiful arrangement that Posies delivered. Nothing can fix a broken heart. But the super customer service and quality product from Posies sure comes close. Thank you for helping bring some light to my dear sister's life during a difficult time. read more

They had my wife's favorite flower - peonies. It was the perfect gift because she was in a down mood and this sure did make her happy! I asked them to create a nice bouquet and they did just that, all for under $35. It's a small little kiosk but they sure do have a large variety of fresh flowers to choose from. Thanks! read more

I used Posies for my August 2013 wedding at the recommendation of my planner (Victoria Schroeder), and Leigh was absolutely incredible. From the moment we sat down with her, she understood exactly what I wanted. While I left that meeting very confident in her, she absolutely blew my expectations out of the water two months later when I saw the floral mock-up she did--she had taken my vision and made it 100x more beautiful. When wedding day arrived, yet again she surprised me by putting together arrangements and bouquets that were even more stunning than at the mock-up. Everyone absolutely raved about the flowers! The only thing that made working with Leigh even better was her pricing--I am sure that our floral budget would have been at least twice as high anywhere else. Leigh is the BEST and I can't recommend her more highly! read more

After reading the 5-Star reviews on Yelp, I decided to entrust the arrangement & delivery of the flowers for my wife's and my 25th wedding anniversary to Posies. They did not disappoint! I went in late in the afternoon of the day before the anniversary and they were out of the some of the Spring flowers that I had in mind, but no problem. Thanks to Melissa, who made it happen! She assured me that the flowers in question would arrive by noon, be arranged and delivered, all before 3PM. Sure enough, my wife, who thought that I had forgotten about the occasion, text-hugged me around 2:00, with "They're BEAUTIFUL!" Job well done, Posies, and thank you Melissa! read more

The day to day flowers from Posies are always gorgeous and stand out from the average bouquet. Never regretted getting our flowers here. Which is why we chose to go with Posies for our wedding flowers. Leigh, the owner, treated my wedding like it was her own. She really listened to what I wanted and when I had no more ideas - she had a gazillion! In fact, I had very few ideas about what I wanted, I just knew how I wanted the flowers to make me "feel". Despite being extremely vague, she was able to take what I could not articulate and make a gorgeous wedding display. She is absolutely talented when it comes to styling flowers. She worked so well with our budget. Every flower I liked was a pricey one (for example, peonies in fall), but Leigh always had a suitable alternative to fit our price. She goes above and beyond. They weren't just flowers, she provided the entire ambiance for our ceremony and reception. Posies gets an A+ in my book! read more

Not really much on customer service, I went in with my fiance to inquire about wedding arrangements and it was just awkward, I had all 4 employees just stare at me while I'm asking a question, and I tell her the date (which is 7 months from now) and without even asking me what I need she immediately says she's not available...first of all I only needed two bouquets and two ceremony arrangements and secondly I just didnt like how one of the employees just responded with "can you come back, were busy" if this is how they treat their customers then I'm glad to not be doing business with them. read more

My best friend is an amazing woman with remarkable and eclectic style. For her birthday, I wanted to send her an arrangement that is unusual and is reflective of her style and personality. I'm an SD native that is now a Bay Area transplant. I relied on YELP to find the best florist in the delivery area. I have learned not to use 1-800FLOWERS, etc... when it comes to arrangements. I'd rather support local florists and avoid the middleman's costs. I called Posies the day before I needed the arrangement delivered. I described my friend's style and personality to the person (sorry forgot her name) that took my order and gave her free reign on what to do do. She couldn't have been nicer and even agreed to send me a photo of the arrangement before it went out. Even better, they could deliver it by 11AM the next day! The price-point is great for the quality and size of the arrangement you get. Thank you so much Posies. My best fried loved the arrangement. I think I may have redeemed myself from the sad one I sent last year. read more

When my husband and I decided to get married in San Diego, there was no question that I wanted Posies and Leigh to be our wedding florist. I've always had a great experience with Posies in the past, and our wedding exceeded all of those. After one initial meeting with Leigh and a couple emails back and forth, she created beautiful arrangements with an array of purples, succulents, and eucalyptus (a special touch of Scripps!).
