I will not write a novel ranting and raving about how wonderful Kimberly is, even though I want to. I was married at Green Gables 10/09/15. She is absolutely amazing at being a wedding florist. Also, she's super sweet and easy to talk to. I told her the style I liked and she did the rest. Our wedding was beautiful. Much to my surprise she is very competitively priced without having to negotiate. I spoke with many florists trying to find the right one within our budget. I found Kimberly and thanked the other florists I spoke to for their time. They would email me back saying they could give me a lower price. Ok, why didn't you give me that price to begin with? I had the same problem as the previous review...I tried contacting them multiple times myself through their online form and had my wedding planner reach out and neither of us ever heard back. I think their floral arrangements are beautiful, but at this point with the lack of communication for a potential client I would be hesitant to hire them for my wedding... read more

Choosing Kimberly as our wedding coordinator was probably the biggest decision that Joey and I had to make with the wedding. After meeting her, we looked at each other and we kind of just "knew" she was the one (a feeling you should definitely have with someone who will be taking your hand and guiding you through this important time in your life). Kimberly is extremely professional, and all of the people that we worked with felt very highly of her. If any of her suggestions were not in our price range, Kimberly always gave us multiple alternatives and was very flexible. Kimberly also has amazing taste, something that a bride can really rely on when she's given so many options for everything. Kimberly really listened to the style and feel of our dream wedding, and helped to make everything a reality. On the day of the wedding, Kimberly worked her magic and made the day go very smoothly. Kimberly did the flowers for my wedding back in January 2016 and I can't even begin to describe how happy we were with her amazing work!! We found her through our photographer and LOVED what we saw on her website, so we met with her to discuss our wedding. Beforehand, I sent her some pictures of arrangements that I liked and described what kind of style I was looking for for my wedding. She put together some pics and sketches of what she was thinking based on our initial thoughts and absolutely nailed it! In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I had a few changes I wanted (like one less bridesmaid bouquet, a sweetheart table centerpiece, etc) and she was super flexible with that. She also reached out to me to see if I wanted additional pops of color that we didn't talk about before, and I let her creativity go to town! Fast-forward to the wedding day while I was getting ready at the hotel. The bouquets were delivered and I just about cried right there at how beautiful they were! My bouquet was INSANE!!! She included all of the flowers we discussed and even surprised me with a dahlia that I asked about during our consultation, but she said they would be out of season for my wedding. *swoon* The centerpieces and other flower arrangements she put together for the ceremony and reception were absolutely gorgeous. We didn't want crazy high arrangements that would block people's views at the table and she took that into account. We mixed and matched arrangements with some in urns and some in boxes and they turned out so well! I wish I could have taken them all home with me! Another big plus about Kimberly is that she has worked with a lot of my other vendors in the past, so they all worked together extremely well to make the day absolutely perfect. I hired Kimberly for my Sep 13' wedding in San Diego. She was outstanding! Being a designer myself, I thought I had the whole wedding planning thing in the bag. Little did I know exactly how much time and coordination it really took. Kimberly brought things up to me that I would have never thought of. Not to mention dealing with frustrating vendors- it was great to have her advice in dealing with them. The day-of chaos, and down to the minute planning, I wish I would have hired Kimberly to do everything! She did an amazing job styling all of the decor, and I ended up having her do half of my centerpieces which I liked more the than the large elaborate ones that the main florist did. I recently got married in April 2014, and was engaged for about a year and half and quickly learned that I needed help. We were so happy with The Dainty Lion's services for our daughter's wedding. Kimberly was very professional and organized, first requesting photos from our out-of-town daughter of her vision, then meeting us at the wholesale market to show us what she knew would work well and would fit our budget. She pointed out flowers that would survive in the heat and suggested substitutions for ones that were not in season but would still fit the overall look we wanted.
