The place was VERY busy while I was there but the lines moved fast and they had multiple places you could buy food and drinks which helped. They also have a little market with all types of snacks, food, and drinks that are perfect to enjoy out on the lawn or patio. We were too late to see the farm or animals but we could view them in the distance which was a really cool and unique experience. I cant wait to come back for one of their many events they seem to hold. Quick tips: parking was a disaster, don't assume you will be parking in their lot if you go on a busy night or weekend. They had options nearby though that you could walk from. Also, the margaritas are strong, but in a good way! Don't be fooled by the premixed drink, I had two and was definitely feeling it.

Pros: This place has such a fun and refreshing vibe very outdoorsy, peaceful, and almost like a little escape from the usual city spots. It feels like you're on a farm (because you are), which makes the whole experience really different and memorable. There's a brewery on-site with a good variety of beers, and I liked that some of them had Japanese-inspired flavors it made the selection feel more unique than your typical brewery. We also did the farm ride, which was $15 per adult, and honestly it was a really fun experience. It's definitely more geared toward kids (the little tractors are tiny haha), but it was still enjoyable getting to ride through the farm, learn about everything, and then interact with the animals. Being able to pet horses and chickens was such a cool touch and made it feel very wholesome. Parking is free, which is always a plus. It's more of a make-your-own-spot situation on a dusty lot, but it wasn't too bad overall we were still able to find a space without too much trouble. Cons: The parking setup can be a little tricky, especially if you have a bigger car like an SUV since you kind of have to squeeze into spaces. Also, the farm ride is definitely more kid-oriented, so just keep that in mind if you're expecting something more adult-focused. I also wish the brewery operated more like a full bar setting, but it was still nice to try the beers. Verdict: If you're looking for something different and a little more interactive, this is a really fun spot to check out. It's great for a casual day outdoors, especially if you want a mix of activities, animals, and drinks. I'd definitely come back and would be interested in trying the restaurant there next time!

A friend of a friend was celebrating her birthday and singing for open mic night. She invited us to go. I really did not know what to expect but I did know that it was a neighborhood bar atmosphere. Parking was ample and we were able to park in front. You could hear the music from the outside and the doors were open. They also have a nice little patio that advertised they had had a barbecue earlier in the day. We walked in the front door to this very eclectic small bar and made our way to the front to find our seats with the birthday girl. The tables and chairs were tightly packed, and it was a little challenging to navigate. It was quite loud, but people were clearly having a great time. It was a fun atmosphere and lots of people were dancing. The musicians kept rotating out and different genres were performed on a very crowded stage. You can tell it's a locals' favorite spot and people seemed to know each other. It was definitely an older crowd that night as well. It's a funky little dive bar with a great energy (at least the night we went). They have a calendar of events on the wall behind the bar. They have different kinds of music and different foods depending on the night. If I am in Encinitas and wanting a drink or non-pretentious environment, I would return.

I took my Mom who I learned my gawking skills from and we had an excellent time walking and gawking at all of the amazingly designed lighting exhibits. It is very dark in the area say take time to slow down and watch for the entrance and parking signs and people. There were quite a few parking attendants around to point people toward spots and away from full lots. We went the day after Thanksgiving and it was full but it didn't take us long to find a parking spot. There were signs and the attendants also pointed everyone in the direction to the entrance. At the front, security checked bags and scanned tickets and ushered people into the park. Guides at the front suggested a route which included following the arrows lighted along the routes through the garden. It was so gorgeous! People were quite respectful of others trying to get photos of displays and couple and group photos. At one location I became the honorary photographer after helping out a few people. We walked around and posed and all for over three hours. It was a well spent wholesome family evening. You're killing it, SD Botanic Garden!

I also did ear seeding for my lower back, hips, sciatica, and piriformis muscle. I also got chocolate samples, some had mushrooms in them. I also got a sample of red light therapy, which was relaxing, but the wine didn't mix well with it because I got a little nauseous afterwards. The restroom was clean and decent, and we loved how spacious the place felt. There's a nice outdoor area where people can hang out and drink, as well as an indoor section with a pool table. We tried some of their margaritas, which were absolutely delicious, and really enjoyed the ambiance. The staff was friendly, the service was great, and the overall vibe made it a fun spot to visit. We each got to order a pot of tea, so we decided to order 5 different ones to try out more flavors together. The ones we picked were: -Jasmine orange oolong - Coconut milk green tea - Earl grey lavender - Vanilla cream -Strawberry rose champagne oolong tea My top two favorites were the jasmine orange oolong and the coconut milk green tea. The only flavor that none of us enjoyed was the strawberry rose champagne oolong tea, so when it came time for refills, we switched it to the rouge provence. For the food, there were four finger sandwiches: chicken breast, smoked salmon, cucumbers, and chopped spinach. We all liked the chicken breast one the most, and felt like the cucumbers and chopped spinach could have been combined into one sandwich for a more balanced flavor. For sweets, there was the seasonal scone, fruit tart, macaron, and donut. I loved the scone with the butter and fruit preserves, as well as the fruit tart. The service was polite, but a bit slow and we waited a while before our food arrived. There was only one person who was serving the entire afternoon tea area, so it's understandable that there's a longer wait. All in all, I would definitely come back for another afternoon tea experience!

Her ability to provide florals for an immense variety of locations and needs is a testament to her skill and eye for design. I knew I had to work with Kimberly when I came across her work; her unique and non-traditional take on wedding florals perfectly fit the modern and bold look I was after. In addition, 5 minutes into meeting her, I immediately fell in love with her super warm personality, huge smile and her clear ability to take my vision and bring it to life with her choice in flowers, colors and styling. This was especially important since florals were one of our top priorities for our Garden wedding. Kimberly first created our engagement photo bouquet prior to our wedding (breathtaking), and then on the day of, she delivered ridiculously amazing family-style table centerpieces, our bride and groom chair decor, and our impeccably styled chuppah, which my husband and I were married under. And the bridal bouquet -- I still have no words. It was more incredible than anything I had dreamed of!! Needless to say, the florals completely stole the show all night, and they were talked about weeks after our wedding. She went above and beyond with every single piece of her work.
