For the coffe/gelato section specifically, the hookah section has yet to be explored. Guy at the counter was very eager to help and even asked how we were enjoying our drinks and food. Walked in for lunch with a group of friends after hitting the driving range and was amazed by the food and service. First of all everything was halal/zabiha making it very Muslim friendly and open until 2 so you have the option of late night eats. The owner was very polite and hospitable, she went through great lengths to make sure we felt comfortable. The food was delicious, though a bit small. Despite the size it was still filling. Great hookah, paninis, and drinks. I wouldn't go anywhere else for hookah. The hookah doesn't burn out fast and the employees are prompt and attentive. So I've been going to this hookah for a few years now. I loved it because it was near my home. The first owners had terrible customer service, so when the new owners came around the place was better. They renovated the place and improved their customer service ! Here's where it goes south. I went last week and one thing that bothered me was the employees not wearing a mask. Second, while I stood their waiting to be seated the waiter didn't give any hand gestures as to tell me I'll be there in a minute. To me it looked like she cantering to her friends. After my friends and I sat down. She hands us a menu and gives us a look as to "what are we going to order". It would've been helpful if she would offer something. As to flavor or shisha or food or whatever. Now I was there for about an hour and a half and I was only approached once to see if everything was ok. It wasn't. My coworker and I come here quite a bit. We are always treated with kindness, welcomed warmly, and feel adequately tended to. There is both outdoor and indoor seating, the environment is ambient and at a comfortable volume for speaking. As for the hookah flavours, I recommend rose if you're into teas at all. I came here expecting the best hence the name. Customer service was quite pleasant in the beginning. I ordered the Green Lavender Tea, and it was delicious! By the time I received it, however. The employee who helped me forgot to make my tea as long as another's guests drink. They were bringing out others drinks and food, and the place wasn't at all busy. I come here occasionally and have never had a negative thought about the place. Food is mouthwatering good! Panini's, gelato, and teas are my favorite items on the menu. I have been here a few times and I have had an okay experience every time. However, the last time we went there we found out that there was a new rule regarding the price. The new rule is regarding the number of people allowed to smoke a from the hookah at once. After two people they begin to charge an additional 5 dollars. For the casual smoker this can be a little much. With that said the reason I am giving them three stars is because of the customer service. It is very hit or miss, the servers seem to be so busy that they barely spend more than two seconds taking your order or coming by to ask if you need more coals. To follow on to that they got our order wrong, twice. read more

Looking for gelato and visiting my folks in lake forest,ca. Blue fig shows up. I'm thinking it must be a flavor of tobacco once I see a hookah bar. No other place within city limits so I called. They do in fact have gelato. Myself and my dog go. They were easy to find and I cannot emphasis enough how cordial this business is. Upon arriving tell my dog to wait after all this is a business. Folks outside are talking to my dog and soon talking to me. They allowed me to bring my dog in and we're fully accommodating. Never ceases to amaze me how kind individuals can be and even though I wasn't there for smoking, I wouldn't hesitate to return cause the warm welcome and service is exactly what SERVICE is about. Customer Service is becoming a concern to me as I work in restaurants. With the impersonal/automated response that we deal with today to cut costs I am truly concerned for my sons and younger generations. Update: by far the best hookah lounge in OC! I've become a regular here and can't imagine not coming back over and over again. Service is excellent, The staff are ultra friendly, knowledgeable, caring and attentive, they check up on you every 10-15 minutes it seems. My salutes to: Arya, Tala, feras and Ian. For always making me feel at home, thanks to you guys. The hookahs here are hardcore, this is the most real hookah in Orange County if not the whole state. The tea is second to none, the food is amazing. But believe me, if you want to try a hardcore, real deal, true hookah.... it doesn't get any better. I've been smoking hookah for the past 8 years and tried everywhere from north OC, to the east coast and a different continent. I would say this place ranks in my top two, no doubt! Okay, so, BEST HOOKAH LOUNGE IN ORANGE COUNTY PERIOD! Note to yourself, this is not a biased review, because I've been to many hookah lounges including momo's grill, Nubia, Nara bistro, fusion ultra, Caspian, Mirage, Ivy and so many more. This place is an example of what a paradise is in the service industry and the people that run this place know how to treat their customers. I don't usually write many reviews on yelp, hell I don't write reviews at all, I just read them. But I will tell you exactly why I'm writing this review. 1. Top notch service: They will literally do anything in their ability to make you feel comfortable and happy. When I first visited this place I went with 3 friends. The atmosphere was amazing and the place was comfortable which set the perfect vibe so I invited about 10 more friends. We even asked them to change our hookah heads a couple of times and they did it right away with no hesitation at all, and the best part is even if they have a 100 customers they will deliver anything within 5 minutes after ordering. Also one of the things that got me the most is the fact that they let you play ANY song you like on their indoor/outdoor sound system. This makes you feel like they treat you on a personal level and every customer is a special customer no matter how big the bill is. What happens when you start playing your favorite music on a good sound system at a public place? Well, you obviously start DANCING! First there were only 5 people on the floor including myself, but 10 minutes later it goes viral and the next thing you know is the entire lounge is dancing to your music! 2. Fantastic atmosphere: The place by itself is in a great location in Lake forest and it's big and clean with high ceilings, which means there's more room to breathe. Feels like a hookah lounge straight out of Seattle or SF with all those decorative Edison lights and pretty cool wall art. 3. Hookah and tobacco and coal: The hookahs at this place are all "Khalil Mamoons." FYI, Khalil mamoons are the "Nikes" of the hookah world. They are hand made in Egypt for durability with impeccable craftsmanship by hookah artisans. Also they use "washable" hoses, which means there is no after taste from previous smoking and also they are guaranteed to be clean. Speaking of tobacco they have all kinds of exotic flavors so feel free to try any of them, they are all good. My favorite is a mix of Blue mist & Mighty freeze. :) They use good branded coal too. 4. Food/Coffee/Gelato: I ordered a blended white mocha and it tastes pretty much like something you get from coffee bean. Never tried the food, so can't really comment on it. A friend of mine got some gelato and she said it was good as well. As a suggestion I would love it if they can start offering "fruit heads," this would improve the flavor and the lifetime of the tobacco. Also I would definitely come back to this place and I would also recommend this place to all my friends and I hope they continue with their fantastic service! Kudos to Blu Fig! read more
