They kept me updated throughout the process and even did the mold extraction free of charge. Everyone was so polite and genuinely eager to help. My car looked AMAZING when they were done--seriously, like a whole new car after a summer of softball dirt, wet swimming towels, and melted ice cream in the floors! Highly recommend Hometown Detailing. They do great work and really care about their customers!

Which was fine as they did Uber me home and back to pick it up. Over all my experience was ok. Everyone was friendly and helpful However.... they left several spots of tree sap on the outside. I can scrape it off with a fingernail, but it still somehow got left behind. When looking at the windows, there are spots around the edges they didn't get clean. They also used Armor All on the inside. I freaking HATE that stuff. It leaves oily film everywhere and your hands end up coated. My clothes have it on them where I sat in it to drive. Had I known I would have told them not to. Sign says they use Chemical Guys products, but this is definitely armor all. As someone who uses CG when I do it myself, this is not their product. Further, they put it all over my leather seats, which is something Armor All specifically says NOT to do. As a pro detail shop they should know this. CG have a leather conditioner that should have been used. They also put it on the floor mats (weathertech) and I'm concerned I'm going to twist a knee trying to get in and out because they are slick as snot too. Inside looks nice and they got it pretty well cleaned, but I would rather they not have used anything at all over the Armor All. When I got home I wiped everything down with a towel just to pull some of it off. I can still feel it on everything though. Concerned I need to wash my seats again and just condition them myself. For the $400 I paid, I would have expected better than Armor All and definitely would not have expected tree sap to have been left behind. They did get the dog hair out and the inside is clean for the most part. 3.5 stars

Enjoying the people I'm paying goes a LONG way. With the great job, I'll doubtless return. First update: I neglected to mention that you need cash or check to buy such. Not as big a deal with a groupon for it, as it's less than $15 for the taxes.

That said, the store front needs some major work. It was hard to find. New Life Auto Spa is actually a smaller part inside some other business, which I forget the name of at the moment. There's no actual real storefront sign, just a little blurb about them on the side of a vinyl banner that's hung on the building. The lobby area looks as if they are moving or something. Worth what we paid for the Groupon, would probably use them again if another deal was available. Would say you'll most likely be happy with the work if you aren't scared off by the pack

I stopped by this shop with a live person who answered the phone and the woman came out and gave me an estimate for repairs in less than 10 minutes. She was so kind and explained what was needed. However, I must admit that the actual service failed to live up to this billing in any way shape or form. I went there to get an estimate on some body damage on my bumper. The woman working there informed I would need an entirely new bumper for some relatively minor damage, and I thought this was odd given three body shops in town had told me it was clearly repairable without replacement. She gave me an estimate that is literally 68 percent higher than that I received at two other Omaha body shops. When i told her that, she said, 'Well you better get in line there as fast as you can then,' and 'We couldn't even paint it for that.' To me, this is a blatant admission that you charge much more than other and are more than willing to admit to their potential customers before sending them out the door. I just don't understand that business strategy. To top it off, this woman was extremely rude and seemed like she could take or leave my business. With so many other body shops in Omaha, you'd think they'd want to acquire more clients by treating them nicely, but obviously this is not a priority of West Omaha Auto Body. The reviews are good (at least four of them) on Yelp, but I've since been told endless horror stories about dealing with them when I went to find a better price and a business that cared about my needs. I would urge you to seriously consider your options wholeheartedly when considering using West Omaha Auto Body. I don't want to be treated like my money and car doesn't matter, nor do I want other patrons to be given the same treatment.
