Spray marks all through my interior
    Melissa O.

Honestly the people who work there are super nice - but the work they did on the car was shotty and sloppy. We have chrome accents on our interior- they must have used a spray on most of the interior- i know because they never wiped it off completely on MANY places. Our dashboard was still covered in whatever light colored compound they used - there was still a lot of dust and it didn't even shine. When i pulled up to get my SUV, my door was wide open draining my battery with the interior light on. My rims were splashed in mud and there were still smudgy finger marks from whomever "cleaned" it. It was vacuumed but not well. I bought a groupon to try these guys out for the first time- needless to say i would not recommend this place to any one. I guess you get what you pay for but def not a way to do business with shotty work. Plus when i got there, they gave me the wrong keys.

One grimy swipe across the headlight. Pathetic detailing!

Dirty. Smelly interior. Filthy windows. Grimy headlights. Dull exterior. Those are the results of a trip to New Life Auto Spa. The place is a total RIP off. I bought a Groupon on for their "Ultimate Detailing" and what I got was an ultimate mess! The carpet and upholstery were completely saturated and reeked of putrid chemicals. I had to use thick bath towels on the seat in order to drive and soaked through three in less than 24 hours. There was water condensation literally dripping from the windshield and all over the dashboard for days. The owner told me I just needed to let it sit with all the doors open for a couple days to dry out. Seriously?? The headlights were supposed to be restored to like new condition but had only one grimy wipe mark across each headlight lens. The car was not waxed nor were the windows treated with RainX as advertised. On top of the crappy workmanship, the owner called to change the name on my check - clearly a sign that this business is shady all around. Steer clear unless you want your car dirty, soaking wet and stinking like a chemical factory.

I really wanted to love them. I've been looking for someone I trust to detail my suv on a regular basis, and they are pretty close to where I work so it's easy to hitch a ride to and from. First I will point out this was not an overly dirty car. I'm a single person and it's garaged, so it's mostly accumulating dust and lint, and minor spills and whatnot in the driver's seat. On the pro side - I had an unfortunate spill from some eggs that had dried on the carpet, and they worked that out to look like new, and the job they did on the outside looked good. On the not so great side - the wipe down on the rest of it was sloppy at best. Basically it looked like my dash got a quick wipe and that was it (but even that wasn't thorough - there was still dust between the compass and window, on the edges, and in between the "tiers" of the dash. There were even two giant pieces of lint? hanging out right in the middle of the dash.). I uploaded several pics that I took right after I picked it up. You can see visible lint and dust, and zero attempt to wipe it out. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but when I take my car to be detailed, I expect that to mean the details will be handled. For over $100 with my groupon, I feel like I didn't get much better than running it through the car wash and a few minutes of vacuuming and scrubbing the one spot, so I'm really glad I didn't end up paying full price for it. I had to spend an additional hour and a half when I got it back wiping it down and attending to the details. Everything shown in these pictures was easily wiped off, no elbow grease required. I was hoping to be lazy and pay someone else to do it, and unfortunately it seems I paid someone else for something I still ended up having to do. It was annoying, to say the least. Sorry, but have to give this one a thumbs down.

Services: window tint, paint correction and ceramic coating on black truck…read more Carlos, the owner, is a good guy. Returned phone calls and text messages promptly. Seemed knowledgeable on window tinting and paint correction. Window tinting seemed to be done well. No issues, but will update review if that changes. Paint correction and ceramic coating was a different story. While discussing window tinting, we were convinced to let them correct the paint and do a ceramic top coat for a reasonable price (red flag 1). The black truck, like most black vehicles, had some scratches from car washes and neglect, but we were assured those would disappear with clay, cutting, and polishing. There were a few deeper scratches that would not be correctable, and we understood. There were also a few rock chips that would be touched up. We picked up the finished truck in the evening in low light. It looked fantastic. The areas that needed to be touched up were not done (red flag 2). However, the shop explained that they didn't think it would look good so they skipped it. With the rest of the truck looking great, I excepted the explanation. I was so impressed that I tipped an extra $100. We arrived home and parked the truck in the garage. Instant regret. Our garage is very well lit and the spider webs and scratches were very apparent. To be honest, it seemed worse than when we took it in. I sent the shop pictures and they responded with a request to bring it back in the morning. Sunrise proved to be even more disappointing. In daylight, the full result was evident. Scratches, maring, and haze were everywhere. Before heading back to the shop, I stopped at a well respected Auto Spa for a professional second option (should have just used them in the first place). Their response: "this was a hack job". The paint correction was subpar and the ceramic coating seemed to be low quality. They didn't see the truck before it was done, but suggested that the scratches were introduced by someone that does not know how to use a buffer. The pro can correct the failed correction. In other words, even if they did not introduce the scratches, they should have been removed by a standard paint correction process if it was done right. Carlos offed to fix the issue with wet sanding. Given the previous result, there was no way I would trust an even more aggressive correction. In their defense, he did refund my money and mentioned that this was not up to his usual standards. However, I am still left with a mess. In his words, "it might be scratched but at least it is shinny". Long story short, Carlos seems to be a good guy. I feel bad posting this review, but it's honest. Looking back, I should have been concerned when he could not tell me what ceramic product he used but that he got it from Amazon (red flag 3). Pictures attached. However, trying to get pictures of black car in sunlight is nearly impossible. The rest of the truck is as bad as the hood. PS- there are other reviews on here for black cars. Read them.

A half gallon of milk leaked all over the the front passenger floor carpet. I signed up for the $300.00 detail which was supposed to be only 3 hours. They told me upfront it would most likely take longer and cost me more money. I knew I had to get it cleaned or it would smell. So I left it. That was 900am. The owner actually took me (for free) to where I needed to go. He said he would keep me posted. But as it got later and later I called around 300pm. He said it would take a few more hours. They had to take out the passenger seat to clean the carpet and it needed to dry. I told them I would need a ride when it was done. So around 615pm they sent an UBER for me. I asked the driver how much it was going to cost, and he said it's all been taken are of!! I was shocked bc I am 71yo and on SS and don't have a lot of money to spare! So when I got back, my car was setting out front with the doors open. I looked inside and started crying....I didn't even want to get in....in fear of messing it up! It was gorgeous!! The car mats were in the trunk bc the carpet still needed to dry. I went in to pay expecting at the least $550! They knew I had $300 cash. The owner, Brian, said the guy who cleaned it only charged me $300. Shocked again!! But the carpets weren't quite dry, so they said to wait at least 3 days because the smell might come back and if it did they would most likely have to take out all the seats, pull the carpet completely out and hang it up to clean it and let it dry completely and it could take several days. IF this happened, I could set up a payment plan with them. They even gave me a bunch of booties to wear. And again said wait 3 days. On my way home, the back driver's side window wouldn't close. I called them and they googled it bc it has never happened before. I knew they closed at 700pm and apologized for bugging them. They said no bother, they wanted it fixed. I got home and they called me with something to try. The window did close but not all the way up. I said I was afraid that water would get in when it stormed overnight. They told me to come in at noon the next. I said tomorrow is Sunday! That's fine we'll be here and if it does rain in we'll clean it up. So I went in, but the window worked and nothing got wet. But at that time the sour milk smell was back. Again, they said let's give it till Wednesday the next week. They said to call them. I tell you....these guys know their XXXX!!! By Wednesday.....the smell was completely GONE!!!! I called them with the good news!! This is the reason for this LONG review!! I will never go anywhere else to have my car cleaned!! Oh, they even gave me a free car wash at Koala Car Wash, which is touchless!!
