I had a certificate that was gifted to my brother probably 10 years ago and then recently gifted to me. Im sure when it was bought 10 years ago it was $150 for a full detail and now it's about $250. They still honored the certificate and did a really great job. I couldn't afford to pay more if they went over the full detail time and the person working was very understanding. My car looks brand new even though I take my dirty dog in there all the time. I 10/10 recommend!!!! read more

My Wife found this place and I brought her to drop off and pickup. I was soo impressed with her car that I scheduled a detail myself. The guys were great! they own the business and it shows. The pricing was much better than a dealership and the service and quality was great!! They called me to confirm the day before and were done exactly when they said. The value for the time is great! DO NOT BUY A GIFT CARD FROM HERE! I Purchased a $180 "gift card" (+ tax and his 3% up-charge for CCs) from here as a Valentine's Day present for my spouse on 2-10-20. This place doesn't have actual gift cards, so he gives you the receipt back and a business card and tells you to keep it because it's just like cash. We made an appointment over a month ago for today at 8 AM. We arrived at 7:55 AM, after removing all the items from our car the night before; Just to find out that this guy doesn't even honor his own gift cards. We gave him the receipt, the card he gave us, and an extra $120 To upgrade + tip, and he refused it. I have a receipt showing that I bought a gift card on 2-10-20 and I have all the items that he sent with me after I bought the gift card, But he still said I was missing another card. In a defensive, condescending tone, He actually Suggested that maybe I had someone else use it on another day (to insinuate that I was trying to scam Him today). Really?!?!? I don't know how you can accuse a loyal customer of thievery. What horrible customer service! I don't know how someone could feel good about themselves after ripping a 76-year-old off. My entire family comes here, I have friends that come here, and I have come here every year for the past 5+ years. In fact, I just had my car detailed two weeks ago and gave this guy $300 in cash. If I was going to be dishonest, wouldn't I have tried to use this "other card" when I had my own car detailed two weeks ago? This absolutely makes no sense to me. I am appalled! This is a 3.5 star review **** it just won't let me click a half star for whatever reason. Called yesterday to see if they had any availability and they got me in that afternoon without issue! Was very thankful of this and the car was ready about 2.5hrs later. The interior looks amazing and I'm beyond grateful the stain in my trunk is out! My only hiccup with the whole process was this: I have interior and exterior dash cams. This was my first time ever having my car detailed so I hadn't thought to mention it or thought it would be a problem. The individual working (pretty sure he was the owner but can't be certain), however, mentioned that being recorded made him uncomfortable and he "didn't like other people knowing what he was doing in the car". It sounded like he was trying to say "protect my trade secrets" but in an effort to be vague it came off as ominous. ‍ Anyways, he asked us to delete the footage in front of him before we left. Unfortunately, this required us to run to the store and grab an SD card reader. Still, I could understand the request and we made it work. My problem with it all is that he had ALREADY removed the SD card BEFORE we arrived to pick up the car. Maybe this was because he didn't want to damage the system, though I can't be sure. It was a very weird/unprofessional approach to the situation. He was well mannered and apologetic during the encounter but very forceful as well. He also withheld my car keys from me until the footage was deleted. Withholding my keys feltintentional, but not exactly hostile. Rubbed me the wrong way to say the least. If it were such a concern to him/ the business, they should have (at the very least) a sign that states their policies regarding dash-cams. I hesitate to leave any bad reviews to a small business and I must emphasize the services performed were excellent and exactly what I paid for! But, because of how unsafe I felt in this situation, I won't be returning. I can only imagine how things could've potentially gone different had I been alone/ incapable of purchasing the SD card reader. read more

Saw several solid reviews for Omaha Auto Detail and I've been looking for the right place to detail out my car. Be sure and check their website for specials (good selection of options) and call and set up your appointment. The ownership is very helpful in discussing the options and looking the car over with you for any special items that need attention. I got the interior/exterior with buffing rather than hand waxing and got the engine cleaned as well. Really wanted top treatment for the car. Overall, I am very pleased with the result. Need to give them about 4 hours for the full work up. Larry (owner) even did a little repair work on my steering column to re-secure the plastic molding to ensure it stays in place. That was much appreciated. I drove 35 minutes from my house to get to the shop and it was worth the trip. I will use their service again on my wife's car. read more

We've been looking for a person to detail our cars for a couple of years now, and did I ever get lucky to find Omaha Auto Detail. Larry does an outstanding job, we took both of our cars to him in the past week to get them ready for winter. Both the interior and exterior literally look like new again. He got 2 winters worth of grime off the tan carpet of our newer car like it was nothing. They offer a full range of interior and exterior services, starting as small as a hand wash for $15 and working up. I can't give them enough praise other than to say, again, we were so happy with how our first car came out on Saturday that we made an appointment that day to bring our other car in the following Wednesday. This seems like a good bunch of guys. They came highly recommended and we did our homework before going there. They were friendly, on time, and did a nice job. But I chose 4 stars because there were some things worth noting. At first, I thought I was being picky, until I realized that for $150 I should be. Nothing was bad, except there was ArmourAll (or whatever they use) on most of the windows, moldings and other spots it should not have been. A couple of windows were actually dirty in the corners and we had to wash them when we got home. My fake leather dashboard was not clean in the hard-to-reach places. The carpet and 3/4 seats are clean which is what they get 2 instead of 1 Star. Larry, the owner, was very condescending and kept repeating "that's the hard part" when I asked about the sticky residue left on the windows from the tint I removed myself. "You wouldn't have someone working on the engine also work on other parts of the car". 120$ is for "the hard part". I didn't ask them to do anything other than CLEAN AND DETAIL. There are coffee marks on my dash board still also. He did not offer any solution to my problem, then when I informed him I would be writing a review he replied with "oooof course you are". It's definitely the little things that make this place great. I was feeling a little desperate. My car had just gotten a huge, deep rust stain on the driver's quarter panel from my apartment building's parking garage. I tried a couple car washes and a good old fashioned hand scrubbing before panic set in and I looked for an Auto detailing place. I found Omaha Auto Detail online and gave them a call. Larry took one look at the stain, grabbed some spray and a cloth and in a couple seconds he had not only removed the stain, but had cleaned the whole quarter panel. After 2 NE winters my 5 yr old SUV needed some serious TLC. For $95 (their current special) I got a complete detail. Omaha Auto Detail is just a few blocks from home. I always try to support local and especially neighborhood businesses so I thought I'd give them a try. A few hours later when I went to pick up my car it shone like it did when I first bought it! I had no idea how dull the paint and tires had become over the past several years. It's amazing what a good wash, a wax and some armour all can do! The owner was super friendly and they explained that I would find all of my change from the ashtray in a zipper baggy on the front seat and that everything they found in pockets and under seats would be in a large plastic bag in the back (and I thought my car was pretty clean when I took it to them). They found a few things that I've been missing for awhile under the seats and down in between the seat and console. Love these guys! I will definitely be taking my other cars to them this summer. p.s. I couldn't find a speck of dirt, dust or sticky icky when they were done with it. 5 stars!!! read more

Well, Larry and his guys are rock stars! I called looking for an appointment for my daughter's car while she was out-of-town. A graduation/off to college surprise. Larry said he was already booked for the week but offered to squeeze it in. Since no one was driving it, I said that'd be perfect, I'd just leave it with him and he could work on it when they had time. I was hopeful but completely understood if it couldn't happen. This was my 90 year old mother's car before she inherited it and it needed a bit of TLC. A couple of weeks ago the sun roof leaked and soaked the driver's seat. So, to say the least it smelled awful when it dried out. The heat/humidity has been something awful for the last few weeks so that couldn't have helped any with the odor. To make matters worse, last fall she was transporting a Italian vinegar dressing based salad and it leaked out all over the rear seat so between the stinky rain water, excessive heat just throw in a bit of old vinegar to the mix and you've got yourself a really SMELLY combination. I won't even begin to tell you what storing her horse's saddle and her horse stall cleaning/riding boots had added to that odor bouquet! :-) Well, I dropped it off on Wednesday at lunch time and it was done in record time. Got a call early the next day that it was done. Larry (the owner) was very friendly and cut me a deal on the excessive floor mats that my mom had in there (I had no idea she had 15 floor mats in that tiny Toyota!). The car looked like new inside, no stinky water, vinegar or horsey smells remained! My daughter was thrilled. To get teenager to 'ooh over' something like a clean car is really saying something. As you can see from my 'other' reviews if I have something to say about how a business has treated me, I'm always glad to share it with all my closest friends here on Yelp! :-) This small business is one of Omaha's best! My car looks so great! I didn't think the stains on my seat would come up since they've been there about a year and half! These guys did a great job, and I will most certainly be returning! Well worth the $$$... now I don't have to be embarrassed to have guests in my car! My ONLY complaint is that they are closed at 5pm on weekdays and closed completely on weekends. I went to Omaha Auto Detail after reading rave reviews from so many people. After all was said and done they were ok, but I cannot say any better than that. They are not less expensive than other options, they seemed to clean everything quickly and without care. On the carpet there were pieces of soggy crumbs, probably a nephews long lost cracker, that had not been cleaned up (I didn't imagine having to vacuum after paying so much to get it detailed) . The worst however was that little kids had spilled drinks and shakes a few times in the back, certainly not impossible to remove if you have a professional do it and they were not cleaned out. It was an ok job, not a great job. If someone is looking for a good detailing place I would say you can try Omaha Auto Detailing but I would say look around before you do. read more

Larry called me and explained that he could do all the services I requested but felt that it wouldn't be worth the money considering the fairly clean condition my car was already in. how many businesses call you and tell you ways to save money or where a service isn't needed? highly recommend this place. if you have been looking at reviews and just aren't sure, take my word for it. I called Omaha Auto Detail this afternoon after reading some of their reviews. Unfortunately, I had gotten sick on my black perforated driver's seat this morning and the ick was stuck in the little holes. (Sorry to be graphic, but want you to appreciate the work I needed!) Randy answered when I called and said he would have to take a look at it to see if there was anything he could do before he promised anything. I drove over to the shop and Larry met me in the parking lot. I showed him the seat and he said "can you give me five minutes and I'll see what I can do?" I went inside in the waiting area which was very clean. About five minutes later, Larry pulled my car around and he'd gotten the seat clean. 100% perfect. He showed me what he had done and then said "have a nice day!" I insisted that I pay him something (he just cleaned up my nasty nasty seat!!), he wouldn't take payment and just asked that I come back sometime. I could not believe it! My dad owned a mechanic shop for many years in small town Iowa and that reminded me of something he would have done "back in the day." My many thanks to Larry (and Randy)!
