They wouldn't work with him at all and they were more than rude. He explained it was my Mother's Day gift... they didn't care. The course was in great shape. This is the first I've golfed here in some time. I play the forward tees and I thought they were fair. Par 3s we're a little longer than I'm used to. Pin placement was a little tough with many holes being on an incline of some sort. Course staff was very friendly. I had a great time. Our Firestone finished our round in under 4 hours. I never place reviews but this course needs one. To start the round off, they double booked our tee time because this group "called for a favor," so we had to golf behind the slowest foursome of all time. Next we reach the greens, AKA the worst greens in the Twin Cities. Felt like you were golfing on carpet, wish this was a joke. For $80+ at this course, I couldn't believe it, because there are way better options in the area. STAY AWAY from here. read more

An over priced public course that, for the money, should be in WAY better shape. For this caliber of course you're better off going to Timber Creek or something similar. You'll pay a lot less for the same experience. Staff in clubhouse was friendly and helpful but only booked us for 9 instead of 18 and by the time they realized it, it was too late. read more

With the exception of the stubborn over the hill two-some behind us, we had a great time golfing at Bluff Creek. Me and 3 buddies came out to celebrate a birthday on a chilly and breezy late July Friday. The 3-2 beer helped out a little bit with the cold (note beers are only about $2.50 here along with very affordable sandwiches and snacks, they also have a BBQ rolling later after noon but we had a morning tee time). Golf carts rock featuring GPS navigation with large screens. The only problem with the GPS was we always had to tell it when were on the next hole and the options aren't touchscreen but rather buttons to the sides of the screen which [with this generation] was hard to get used to. There was 3 or 4 challenging holes, but the rest are pretty straight and long and not too difficult. Hole 12 was certainly the hardest, I drove about 275 and any longer I would have been in the ravine. My fellow buddies all hit into the rough as the fairway is rather narrow. Getting to the green was also a challenge with a sloping green. Another tucked away course that doesn't get too busy and a good option for jumping on last minute. read more

This is a low-frills course out on South 101 from Eden Prairie in a relatively undeveloped area. EG no houses on the course. Both the fairways and greens are undulating and require good precision on approach. Most of the holes are fairly straight and not too many hazards. It is playable, walkable, affordable. The course was in great condition for Mid_October. It has a driving range, small snack bar with some draft and canned beer, but no bar. read more

Probably one of the worst courses around. Anytime after rains the fairways are in terrible condition. Some of the greens are like putting on concrete at other times. Played there a couple times and did not enjoy it at all. Very small pro shop and snack bar, staff was friendly. Would definitely not recommend it. read more

I went to the driving range, got a large bucket of balls for 10.50, and it says you get 4 drops and that equals 72-78 balls. Only had 3 drops, 52 balls. 1 drop costs $4, 2 drops $6 and 3 drops 10.50??? So I pay more for the last than the first. I talked to the manager and he straight lied to my face, saying it calibrates differently and you get the amount of balls... we'll I counted and I got 52 balls. I don't like being ripped off and then getting lied to! Come on Brett, that's not how to run a business. read more

If I could give zero stars I would..... wondering if I can have Barett reach out to me. A few weeks ago I went golfing on the Sunday before the big snow storm. I noticed when I went to top golf that i was missing my wedges ( 2 vokeys an older sm12 with a spiral black golf pride grip 60 degrees, and a 56 vokey with a really work red grip. I immediately called the next day, I was told by the gentleman that the clubs were there but they were closing due to the snow storm, He said if you hurry I can set them aside and they will be waiting here . I tried to get there as fast as i could but the clubhouse had already been locked up by the time I got there. I had gone out of town for two weeks and came back to the course on sunday the 28th. I spoke with a woman who had no idea about any clubs and showed me to a lost and found that had mostly old crappy clubs in it. I then spoke to a man that said he had texted barett and that he would have barett call me. I was unable to find the gentleman after my round and I did not receive a follow up call regarding the clubs that a worker said were there before the snow storm. I called again last night to try and speak to barett and he seems to be elusive. Tried three times to get a hold of him in the last week. Long story short I was told my clubs were there the day of that large snow storm and when I went there on 28th they were no where to be found. I am extremely upset, Those are expensive wedges and I would like to have them back. Please have Barett reach out to me. I want to get the story on this. Somehow my clubs between a two week period go from being put aside to now being no where to be found.... please follow up with me. This is my third request. I WANT MY CLUBS BACK!!!! read more

Had a fun time at Bluff Creek with a group of eight friends. We all came from out of town for a wedding and wanted to golf too. The course is not over the top difficult, but it kept our low handicap players very entertained (they even went back the next day for 18 more!). They have decent sets of rental clubs ($25) and reasonable rates for 18 holes. Very nice, well kept course with beautiful scenery. Not a lot of water, but you need to be accurate. The greens are well maintained and tricky. We all had a great time and will be back. The staff was very friendly and not pushy. The cart GPS told us that we were behind, but since we were in contact with the groups in front of us (keeping up the pace of play), no one bothered us about it. read more

Pretty bad greens and many fairways. Winter took it's toll but still, this is not a course I would go out of my way to play. The layout is nothing special either. The pro shop has limited eats but decent selection of beer. read more

The golf course is very nice and well-maintained. The problem our group had was how rude the staff was in the pro shop. They actually got into an argument over some other staff member while we were having a beer and it got quite vocal! When I waited to pay for my round a young lady got behind the cash register and I asked her if this is where I pay my green fees. Her response was a very rude: "In a minute!" (She wasn't doing anything!) Bluff Creek needs to hire people who are engaging and welcoming. We understand it is a public golf course but courtesy and decorum are the foundation of the game of golf...at any golf course! read more

Course is OK, but terrible, terrible, terrible staff. We had a 3 some, purchased 2 carts and 18 holes at full price ($55 each). We finished around 7pm and 2 of us decided to continue playing. We inquired in the club house but the guy behind the counter couldn't help us and the guy that could was trying to figure out how to print score cards so we sat around for 15 minutes waiting. Finally, we ended up paying $22 each more for twilight rate and played the front nine. We decided to sneak one more hole in, drove off the tee box and the next we know the "unable" to help you guy chased us down and told us we weren't allowed to play anymore, that we had paid junior rates for 9 holes. Then he told us they didn't call it Jr. rates in the clubhouse because they have microphones and cameras and would get in trouble. Never had this happen at a course, it was embarrassing and both guys were complete jerks. The "printer" guy would not give us his name "cause they told me I don't have to". Won't play here ever again. read more
