Blue Water Pool Service is hands down the best service in SA. I went through three companies and myself before I found this crew. In the last 2 seasons, I have not had to do a thing to my pools other than simple pre-swim leaf cleaning. The water is no kidding always blue and clear. Can't say enough good things. I will mention they haven't been perfect and made so mistakes and had a couple bad services but as soon as alerted them to about it, their front office had me a fix and re-service within the same or next day. This is a very professional company that is serious about their products, service, and kindness. They also have reasonable rates for the amount of time and chemicals they use and don't charge me other than what's baked into the monthly cost. Don't hesitate to pull the trigger today. We've been using Bluewater since June of 2022 and overall I've been very happy with them. Hands down best price I could find in my area (Dripping Springs, TX) and solid quality for the price. There have been a few bumps over the years with technicians that weren't so great (this is why I gave a 4 instead of 5), but those techs didn't last long and I've been very happy with the crew that we've had for the last 8 months or so. Management is always quick to respond to questions or complaints, and the few times that we had big issues they made it right by promptly fixing the issue and refunding my fee for the month. I'm incredibly disappointed with my recent experience with Bluewater Pro Pool Service. The management of my pool service has been not just terrible, but frankly hazardous. The high copper levels in my pool have been a recurring issue, indicative of severe mismanagement of pool chemicals, which have even led to damage to my pool equipment like the heater (which is where the copper came from). The customer service has been equally frustrating; I've had to consistently chase down the staff for updates, with responses mostly being deflections to the CEO who NEVER responds promptly or really at all. Moreover, despite the evident damage caused by their service mismanagement, there has been a push for payment before addressing the actual service issues. My family's health was at risk due to the toxic levels of chemicals in the pool, which the company had been paid to manage properly. The company's lack of accountability is schocking I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider their choice before hiring this company for any pool-related services. Their promise of "unparalleled pool service and masterful new construction" has fallen completely flat in my experience, replaced by frustration, potential health risks, and financial losses. Absolutely Horrible Service! DO NOT USE BLUEWATER Pool cleaning service! I strongly recommend that NO ONE should use Bluewater Pool for any of their pool cleaning or maintenance needs. Not only did they do a shity job cleaning my pool, but they also scammed me out of my money and have been giving me the runaround for months about my refund. Every time I reach out, they come up with some excuse--whether it's that they're "still processing" my refund, it's "going through an investigation," or the "owner is still deciding." I've contacted them multiple times, but they continue to string me along without any resolution. Their manager wired the Polaris booster pump incorrectly, which caused it to overheat and posed a serious fire hazard. My electrician confirmed that the wiring done by their team was not only improper but VERY DANGEROUS!!! This is a life-threatening mistake, and Bluewater's lack of professionalism and responsibility is APPALLING!!!! In addition to the safety hazard, the overall service was TERRIBLE!!!! My pool was constantly green and dirty, even after their so-called "cleanings." They left the pool area in complete disarray, and their staff was rude and dismissive when I tried to address the issues. I had to hire an electrician to fix their botched job, costing me even more money. This company is a NIGHTMARE to deal with. Their poor work quality and dangerous mistakes, combined with awful customer service, make them completely untrustworthy. They still haven't refunded me the money I'm owed after several months of trying to get this resolved. I highly advise anyone looking for pool services to STAY FAR AWAY FROM BLUEWATER!!! Everyone should avoid this joke of a company. This company was hired to service my pool and their quality of work was complete trash. My newborn son who can't even walk yet could've done a better job at maintaining a pool than these clowns. My mind was just blown away that a company like this could exist but Bluewater Pool Service definitely took the cake. The first issue was the pathetic manager Carlos. Always with a bad attitude, rushed work, never cleaned his mess after making repairs and avoided any interaction with the customer. I couldn't even get simple answers from him regarding basic pool care. Another issue were the extremely inexperienced pool techs who are incapable of a simple job. It doesn't take a PhD to understand the basic functions of a vacuum or brush. Leaves and other debris still on the floor everytime they claim the pool was cleaned? Oh yes, lousy work is definitely what I wanted when looking into hiring a company. I understand it's not exciting work but if you're getting paid to do the work then do it. I knew Bluewater Pool Service was the greatest pool company in the world when they sent pictures of a green pool through an email report and stated that "my pool was now sparkling clean!" I am not joking at all. I RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. This company is garbage. The pool techs don't know what they're doing. I kept quiet and just watched my pool go from blue to green in about 4 weeks. It didn't smell like they were adding any chemicals at all and we all know what a pool smells like. They had a couple screw ups last year that I spoke with them about and they waived my monthly payments. But when I cancelled services with them a few weeks ago they came back and said they can't cancel until I pay an outstanding bill. Which I know for a fact we didn't have. So without my permission they pulled over $200 from my account after I cancelled services. Totally out of pocket. I called and they said they'd fix everything and have someone contact me.... Still nothing. No money returned. And now my calls won't go through. The worst company ever. They'll take all your money and not give you and service in return. On top of that they'll use your personal pool equipment and damage your things and then tell you that it wasn't them and you probably damaged your own things. I highly recommend avoiding this company, and if you're with them find a better company!!!!!! read more

I wanted to take just a moment to thank you for helping me to recover a pool that had been a swamp for 6 years. everything from draining and cleaning to replacing pumps and filters and oh boy we had a lot- now I have weekly service and a lovely pool maintained by Austin, who makes time to listen to my concerns and is a pleasure to have my morning coffee and talk about pool stuff and sometimes life in general. I am located pretty far away from Bluewater Pool Services so they don't service my zip code, but Stephen quickly called around and found someone who does. We were customers for about a year or more. We never had a problem with the pool turning green. The weekly maintenance was done on Fridays and the pool was always available to swim in until a new manager came on. My pool turned green immediately. Carlos the new manager told me he took over because the last pool guy wasn't doing a good job. So I went with it and gave him a chance. I had to cancel a party, cancel an Airbnb reservation and they were supposed to give me a month free. I didn't get the month free and they told me it was mix up and again I told him that it was ok and they could give me the month of July free instead of the original plan of getting June for free. Well my pool is green again. And I had to cancel two more Airbnb reservations. When I told Carlos he first blamed me and then told me he would send someone out. Then end of day he told me he wasn't and that I should do the cleaning and he would try and have someone out there the next day. So, I basically paid double for chemicals in May and June and still got shotty service. And I am out $3500 on Airbnb rental fee and my rating went down because of cancellations. If you are planning to swim in your pool, this company is NOT for you. If you want to be blamed for your pool being green when you pay for weekly service then this is the company for you. read more
