They helped put our thoughts to paper and not only do we have our dream home, but we also have awesome memories getting it built. CSH is a family owned business so we did not feel like a number. They were always easy to reach when we had questions and they kept us informed every step of the way. They took the stress we had from home building and made it an exciting personal experience. I am sitting in our new beautiful custom home writing this review and we couldn't be happier! From the beginning, they arrived on time, provided a fair price, and offered recommendations that saved us a significant amount of money while producing a better result. Empire Builders gave us a clear project timeline and stayed on schedule and within budget. We are extremely pleased with the results and highly recommend Empire Builders.

Even if problems were encountered during construction, the fact is the end result is a masterpiece, one of kind, safe and beautiful home to last generations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend JCH.

I've called over 30 builders in Punta Gorda to build the forever home for my family. This is by far…read morethe rudest most unprofessional builder I've spoken to. Had called them several times and took them a week to get back. The owner contacted me in an explosive email telling me he doesn't want to die building a house for me. Here is a quote from the owner I was sent in an email " you have clearly never driven down that road and had a triaxial dump truck come across the centerline, head on at you while you're driving the 55 mph speed limit and he's doing something around 75. There's a deep ditch on each side of the road full of water and alligators. Your choice is get squashed like a cockroach, or take a swim with the alligators. Neither of which is appealing to me.." This was very saddening to be demeaned this way. This is clearly not going to be my builder.

Erin and Allison are unflappable, tactful, creative, fun and funny. They have your best interest at heart. They have the uncanny ability to make you think it was your good idea. They don't take credit and high five themselves, or at least not in front of the client. Also, they play well with others. They respect the contractors, tradesmen and clients; everyone feels heard, appreciated and understood. I am a nobody, but I highly recommend Eridel Design.

This did not restore service, and I had to call Xfinity to properly fix the issue. The owner was notified and did not respond. They also damaged the house number and claimed it was already damaged. In addition, they failed to paint the shed, did not reinstall the window shutters that were removed for the job, and left cut plants without cleanup. To make matters worse, the owner arrived around 7:00 a.m. to collect payment while I was getting ready for work, which I found unprofessional. Overall, the quality of work, communication, and professionalism did not meet expectations. Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend this company.

I agreed to sign with him. He was reasonable and stood by his word of having this home show ready. He checked on the progress of his workers regularly and then offered to paint the inside at another reasonable price. The work took a little longer, but it was not a rush job. I am someone who wants it done right the first time and not a shotty job completed in a few days. It was worth the extra time. Mind you, each of the rooms were a different color, so it took a little longer. And, in order to sell it, I wanted it show ready in one neutral color. My real estate agent was impressed with his work and the extra time that was put in getting it ready. AWESOME JOB!

It was one of the worst experiences I have encountered, they don't follow up on what their subcontractors are doing very well. I had a number of jobs that fell behind the schedule and good luck getting ahold of Ron, his favorite line...I didn't receive your call again and again. Some employees were good but then there were ones that were rude. Punch list not complete, roof is leaking, epoxy floor was coming up before I moved in and there is more. Bottom line...I wouldn't trust Ron.

We were told they "stand behind their work" and would complete the punch-out list. That was not our experience. We were asked for final payment over 6-8 weeks while multiple items remained unfinished. We ultimately paid based on assurances that the remaining work would be completed. In our experience, that follow-through did not occur, and several items remain incomplete. These items have remained unresolved since mid-January. Outstanding issues include incomplete exterior cleanup, rust stains left on the driveway from a dumpster, leftover debris and materials (including a large sand pile in the yard), HVAC foam still on the exterior, and unfinished details throughout. While most of the sheetrock work itself was acceptable, there is still sheetrock mud left on doors, around window perimeters, and on windowsills--basic cleanup that should have been addressed. We were also told one thing regarding the HVAC system and received something different after questioning it, which reflects a lack of clear communication. I requested HVAC warranty documentation for our records via email to the owner and have not received a response. We acknowledge we could have requested a more detailed scope of work upfront. However, we expected the project to be completed and the remaining items addressed. Our review reflects our experience and the current condition of the project.
