They are amazing executors and can essentially bring anything you want to life. I've worked with Amy for two years in a row, the first party with 350 guests and the most recent party with 800 guests. Both events, different in scale and theme, were executed so well by the team and had rave reviews from the guests. The quality of their food is off the CHARTS and is always a highlight for the guests. The amazing food makes me want to hire them for my events year after year but the level of service, creativity, kindness, attention to detail, and execution seals the deal. If you have any hesitation about booking them for your next event, don't. So many thanks to Jane Hammond Events for always going above and beyond and making my job less stressful. ;)

We had a longer engagement and specific ideas so were able to book our vendors on our own. Satra's recommended vendor list was helpful, and she was very responsive to one-off questions we had in the timeframe before she took over coordination. Closer to our wedding date, she managed communications among our vendors and the venue. Satra and her assistant were invaluable on our wedding day - they were attentive to my husband and I, while keeping an eye on our timeline and making sure everything ran smoothly. I especially appreciate how careful she was with all the decor we brought to the venue, including preparing it for our pick up the following day.

I was having a hard time planning my wedding during the pandemic and decided to hire a Month Of Planner that I found out from my amazing photographer, Amanda Wei. As soon as we hired Satra, I immediately felt less stressed going into the month of my wedding. On the day of my wedding, she kept everything running smoothly and I had nothing to worry about because I knew she was on top of it. Even my friends told me how much they loved having her around the day of my wedding.

My husband and I had already found a venue prior to hiring Justina. After we found the venue, we were completely at a loss with where to start with the planning as it was overwhelming. But Justina removed this burden completely and she was so patient with us. One trait of Justina that we greatly appreciate is her transparency. Before we signed a contract with her, she was straightforward with us about her giving birth in the middle of the wedding planning process. Despite having to give labor in the middle of planning, Justina's continued to impress us with her clear communication on timelines and expectations. She only stepped away from about 2 weeks after labor and resumed with us; just WOW, we wanted to tell her that she should rest more. During the planing process, Justina handles all of the timelines, organization, and paperwork; which saved my husband and I so much time! Justina was especially a godsend for me, as I was working full-time and wrapping up my master's degree in the same year. We loved how she is prepared with templates for us to follow and takes notes of our every meeting. She is also extremely efficient and was conscious of our budget, and tries her best to help us stay within the budget range we specified. Justina has a lot of connections, so her recommendations were helpful and often helped us save time on researching more vendors. Furthermore, Justina is always willing to come out to meet in person when necessary, and she enjoys choosing fabrics and equipment for the wedding with you -- which we thought was so nice. One thing we also noticed is that all the vendors we worked with also had endless praises for Justina. When it came to actual wedding day, we were surprised by how smooth our wedding event ran. We were prepared to yolo things if things got out of handle, since we have heard a lot of stories from friends about how some of their weddings did not go as planned. Our wedding was a more complicated one as we crammed a lot of events during reception. As the bride, I had one outfit change, we had 7 toast speeches from family/friends, we played the shoe game, and had 3 musical performances prior to opening up the dance floor. Honestly, we did not expect to be able to go through with everything, but Justina made sure we were good on time and we were able to do everything we planned! We were so happy with our wedding and it was everything we expected. Thanks to Justina, we did not feel nearly as stressed out as we initially thought. Due to Justina's immense experience and professionalism, a daunting planning turned into a piece of cake. I would HIGHLY recommend Justina to everyone to plan their events. She is absolutely amazing and we felt so inspired by her work ethic and reliability. Once again, thank you so much for making our dream wedding come true Justina!

This review is seriously long overdue as our wedding was way back in October 2022 at Casa Real (my apologies for the delay!) Early on in our engagement, my husband and I were ambivalent on the idea of hiring a wedding planner. We had already chosen several of our main vendors and thought we could save money and handle planning our wedding on our own but we were mistaken.  We were soon overwhelmed with all the details and started to have decision-making fatigue so we decided to look for a wedding planner. After quite a bit of research we chose Justina/JL Events and we are so grateful we did! Her services were definitely worth the investment. We highly recommend Justina for wedding planning and coordination. She is professional but personable, trustworthy, and very easy to work with. She had great communication from the start and all throughout the preparation for our big day; her responsiveness was amazing. During our first meeting, Justina quickly identified our needs and vision and created a detailed timeline for our wedding planning. She helped us narrow down design choices and accompanied us to meetings with vendors. We were impressed by her organization and proactive approach! Having Justina as our planner helped alleviate much of the stress that comes with planning a large wedding (we had about 260 guests.) There were several instances in which we were frustrated dealing with unresponsive vendors but Justina was great at facilitating communication and even helped us find better companies to work with. Justina helped us stay on track during rehearsal day and was an expert problem-solver. She coordinated with our vendors and the staff at Casa Real with ease and was patient with us and our large wedding entourage. On the day of our wedding, Justina and her assistant Dana took such great care of us and we were able to enjoy our wedding celebration! Justina truly demonstrated her expertise with event coordination. We really appreciated her taking so many behind-the-scenes photos and videos, too! She also created our beautiful wedding cake topper and welcome sign. Thank you Justina for helping us have the wedding of our dreams! We are forever incredibly grateful for you!

Once we did a virtual introduction call with Stacy, it was a quick decision for us to know we wanted to work with her for our big day. From the start, Stacy's energy has always been both encouraging and affirming. Wedding planning is a time that is commonly stressful, but Stacy felt like our biggest ally the entire time. She respected all of our preferences, elaborated on our ideas so creatively, and protected our budget like it was her own. I can't imagine the amount of vendor correspondence leading up to the day, but her ability to manage everything so seamlessly confirms her level of expertise and professionalism. On top of being a logistical master, Stacy has a great eye and bright imagination when it comes to the decor and experience of a wedding. Once we shared our desired aesthetic, her input only elevated everything while maintaining cohesion and sophistication. As someone who gets decision paralysis, Stacy narrowed down all of our major vendor and decor decisions to a few quality options, and she took care of the rest. We were already impressed with Stacy's planning skills, but her day-of coordination was next-level. As the bride, I felt so at ease throughout our entire wedding weekend. I was especially blown away when she showed me - first thing in the morning - her mini printout of our entire wedding day's timeline that she kept cleverly tucked into her purse. The direction Stacy provided for our wedding party during rehearsal led to a beautiful ceremony, and we were truly able to enjoy being present with our guests while Stacy was overseeing all of the behind-the-scenes operations. Many of our guests later reported that it was the best wedding they have ever attended, and we owe all of that to Stacy's genius. If my husband and I could get married again, we would work with Stacy again in a heartbeat!

We had the pleasure of working with Stacy as our partial wedding planner, and we can't say enough…read morewonderful things about her! From the start, Stacy was incredibly detailed and organized, respecting our wish to select our main vendors ourselves and to use much of our venue's existing design. Even though we didn't need the full design package, Stacy remained actively engaged-always quick to respond to emails (before the 3 month mark) and offer thoughtful advice as we navigated the vendor selection process. We faced some unexpected staffing changes with our venue and thanks to Stacy's calm and clear communication these transitions had little impact in our planning process. She helped us absorb so much of the stress that came with lost context and new contacts, ensuring that nothing fell through the cracks. Her ability to step in, get everyone up to speed, and keep the planning process moving forward was truly impressive. As we got closer to the big day, Stacy's expertise became even more apparent. About three months out, she took charge of organizing all our vendors and worked closely with us to ensure every contract was in order and all venue requirements were met. She helped us prioritize decisions to maximize our budget, always providing clear, practical advice about which details were most important and which we could let go of. This guidance made a huge difference in helping us focus on what really mattered and kept us from getting overwhelmed by the small stuff. Throughout the entire process, Stacy's super detailed approach, extreme organization, and calm, clear communication made everything feel manageable and even enjoyable. She truly went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was everything we hoped for. On the big day, the execution went so smoothly and we stayed on time with her gently guiding parents, older relatives, a large wedding party, and all of our vendors, which gave us the ultimate gift of a super stress-free wedding day and the time of our lives. We cannot recommend Stacy Lorelle enough!

I highly recommend Linda for any event…read more  We hired Linda to help with two corporate holiday parties for a total of 650+ expected guests (250 for the first and 400 for the second). Each party had their own planning committees with varying personalities and ideas....and she was able to navigate through them like a champ! More importantly, we received amazing feedback from all the guests that the event was amazing, far better than prior years, and that they look forward to coming to the event next year.  I could give a long laundry list of all the amazing things she did, but hope the below gives you an idea: (1) Provided recommendations on design concepts:  Holiday parties tend to be similar year after year, so we wanted to get some new ideas to excite our staff to come...and Linda was able to deliver! (2) Helped with a short list of vendor options and gave some great recommendations - This was HUGE for me. I am extremely picky with DJs and performers, and she was able to give me some fantastic recommendations that any selection would of been good. We ended up with an amazing DJ that had live music overlay. - She was able to find some great live performers (e.g stilters, dancers, contortionists, etc).  - Found some good lighting, furniture, photographer and a few other vendors for us - And stayed within budget! (3) Negotiated with the vendors to give us a better price & some additional service offerings (4) Mocked up a floor plan  (5) Dealt with a difficult venue to coordinate load in/load out, and preparations...despite constant delays by the venue (e.g. they wouldn't respond to emails, calls)  (6) Day of coordination was amazing and she was able to solve unexpected issues the day of event caused by the venue She did all of this for not just one, but for TWO parties for us that are within a week of each other. Putting all the time saving aside, the event would not have been a success with her! Thank you Linda! We really appreciate everything you did and I look forward to working with you in the future.

I've been putting off writing this review because it's so hard to do justice to how INCREDIBLE…read moreLinda is. Linda planned our wedding in Carmel Valley this October; it was truly the wedding of our dreams, despite the unique difficulties of planning it during a global pandemic, and Linda is the #1 reason why. I could write volumes, but bottom line: Linda is a true gem; she is passionate, talented, and unbelievably dedicated to her work; and I could not possibly recommend her more enthusiastically! We hired Linda to do both planning and design; I would highly recommend Linda for any of her services/packages, as she shone through every step of the process. (BTW: I literally can't imagine doing HALF of what Linda did for us over the past year. If you're like us and had no prior event planning experience...hiring Linda was by far the most worthwhile part of our entire wedding budget!) I'll try to sum up what made our experience with Linda so great with three main points: 1. PERSONALITY Planning a wedding is a long, draining process, and your planner is probably the person you'll communicate the most with throughout; Linda made us feel cared-for and connected from the very start. I felt that our wedding was as important to her as it was to us; she never made me feel like any question was too small, and was a tireless advocate for us and a true pleasure to work with throughout the year+ of planning. BTW, she has an (amazing!) French accent - but I never had any difficulty understanding her and her email communication was honestly the clearest of anyone we worked with. She also rolled with every punch that COVID threw our way through, frankly, sheer hard work and force of will. 2. DESIGN Linda's talent for design was immediately apparent from her portfolio - each of her events has a cohesive yet totally unique-feeling aesthetic. Whatever the concept, she elevates it. We definitely made her job hard by being very picky but also not having any specific vision (I didn't even have a Pinterest account!) going into the process. Linda listened to our very loose thoughts about how we wanted the wedding to "feel" and turned it all into a clear design vision for the wedding that was beyond anything we could have dreamed of. 3. ATTENTION TO DETAIL Linda is ridiculously detail-oriented (in the best possible way)! By the time the wedding came, every single detail of the day had been thought out; I felt involved in every decision, but Linda made it all a reality - the best of both worlds!! On the day of, Linda was a true superhero - to the last, tiniest detail, she made sure everything was perfect, so that my husband and I were just able to enjoy the day. I literally got comments from multiple wedding party members on how amazing her timelines/spreadsheets were!! As a testament to her attention to detail: we wanted taper candles but couldn't have them lit during dinner (fire restrictions); so - as if they didn't have enough to do with coordinating our million vendors! - she and her team pre-burned the candles so they would still have that melted-wax look. It looked AMAZING, isn't something I would EVER have thought of myself, and reflects how tirelessly Linda worked, up to the very last minute and then some, to ensure everything was as perfect as humanly possible for us. Hiring Linda was, without a single doubt, the best investment we made in the entire wedding planning process. She is the single individual most responsible for how wonderfully our wedding turned out, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to have worked with her.

She shared so many helpful wedding tips, was familiar with both the Catholic church ceremony and the Chinese tea ceremony, and guided us every step of the way. Gina was exactly what we needed to turn our vision into reality. We DIY'd all our decors, and she and her team set everything up perfectly within the tight schedule. The level of support she gave us was unreal - from venue walkthroughs to our weekly/monthly check-ins leading up to the big day. She even went above and beyond to help pack up our decor, assist my mom and entourage, and made sure everything ran smoothly. On top of all that, Gina brought the best energy! Everyone loved her cheerful, positive vibes. She hyped up the crowd, worked seamlessly with our vendors, and just made the whole experience stress-free and fun.
