Day of, there is some work to do. I was confirmed that morning of the move to be on location by a specific time. Well as I waited I was informed of logistical issues with the driver. Honestly, when dealing with people that are taking off work to be present during delivery, and the service they are paying for is late, it's such a frustrating situation. Nonetheless, this shifted everything about 40 minutes behind schedule and they still were able to complete the job. The guys were apologetic and I got my furniture. Would i come back for service? After going through a pretty traumatic break up and having to move unexpectedly, I immediately…read morecontacted Bookstore Movers through Yelp. I had had a great experience with them just last year when I last moved and knew they'd be able to get the job done again. My project was immediately responded to and they were able to help me move two weeks later on their soonest available date. The three movers, Pat, Renaldo, and Kevin were incredible. Communication leading up to the move and theday of was great. They were able to move all my large furniture within 2 hours. Everything was wrapped carefully and efficiently. They were kind and thoughtful, helping me make adjustments to the furniture layout once we got to the destination. Their positivity through one of the hardest situations I've ever gone through was much-needed and made me feel confident in entering this next chapter. I even had a last minute change to the destination (originally everything was going into storage but I ended up finding an apartment just in time), and the professionalism and patience from the entire Bookstore team through this change was excellent. Pricing was reasonable yet again and came out to about $500 (excluding tip) for the truck fee and moving of 16 large items. Thank you Bookstore Movers for helping me when I needed it most!

We were disappointed with our recent experience with Bookstore Movers. The crew was polite, but the…read moremove felt much slower and less efficient than it should have been. We had a dedicated elevator, yet workers often brought items down only one or two at a time. I also saw team members on their phones or standing around in rooms and hallways instead of actively moving things. These delays added up quickly. The crew also misplaced parts of our bed frame, and the pieces had to be found before it could be reassembled. That alone added nearly an hour to the move. Because the move took much longer than expected, the final cost was significantly higher than the estimate we received. We were also charged based on an arrival time that was recorded as ten minutes earlier than when the crew actually arrived. The team was courteous, but given the inefficiency, added time, and higher final price, we would not use Bookstore Movers again. This is unfortunate, because we had been happy with them in previous moves.

I have moved a ridiculous number of times in the last 6 years and not one of those times was easy…read moreor pleasant in any way. Until this time. I am doing a two-stage move with Two Men and Truck, and the first stage was amazingly simple and stress free, from making the reservation to delivery and unloading. The company sent 4 guys to my house to move my stuff to two different locations. They arrived on time, introduced themselves and got right to moving things into the truck. They handled all of my furniture and boxes with great care. They were very efficient which I very much appreciated since this was an hourly rate move. During the move, all of the guys were friendly and very easy to work with. They asked questions to be sure they were getting things on the truck to go to the right place. There was not a single moment of worry or stress during the entire move. At one point, the Company owner and one of the managers stopped in to do a spot check and see how everything was going. I was very impressed that they took the time to do this and that they were genuinely interested in how the move was going. The second stop of this move was to a storage unit. That storage unit is perfectly organized - I've never seen a storage unit so impeccably arranged. I can easily see and get to all of my stuff! Overall, this company did a fabulous job for me. I am doing the second stage of this move shortly and have no qualms whatsoever about using Two Men and a Truck for that move as well. In fact, I am looking forward to it. Who'd have thought? One last thing - my sister will be moving soon, and based on my great experience, will be using Two Men and a Truck. These guys are great!

When I hire a service via Yelp, I usually create a draft to remember the company for future…read morereference and to leave a review later. Often, these drafts don't become reviews because the service was simply average--nothing noteworthy beyond the fact that the job was completed. However, I'm glad I saved JFP Express in my drafts because their service was excellent. I contacted three different companies through Yelp, but ultimately chose JFP Express because they were the only ones who provided an all-inclusive price with no hidden fees--unlike the other companies. I find it frustrating when businesses try to extract as much as they can from customers through various pretexts and dishonest practices. JFP Express, however, was honest and transparent from the start. Jason was very courteous and communicative, arranging everything seamlessly. When the team arrived, they were respectful, personable, and professional. The piano, along with everything else, was handled with the utmost care and attention. Even my husband, who is usually very reserved, was impressed with the team, especially Darius, who was exceptionally pleasant. We will definitely be using their services again. Thank you, and best of luck to your team! *‿*

I'm not saying that was a lie, but as such I have her 2 months to get back to business and try to figure out what she was going to do about my table. That never happened and when I finally did get ahold of someone after the 2 months, they answered, acted like they couldn't speak English, and blocked me! The main reason I hired movers in the first place was to move this table and the matching couch table because they're very heavy!
