The cashiers, depending on who you get, can be super rude, unhelpful and even argumentative. I still don't understand the deal with their plastic bags - are they charging for them, or giving you a credit for bringing your own bags, or what? I wish I didn't have to shop here, but Aldi doesn't sell certain vegetables that they do have here. Can't buy anything besides that though - it's just too expensive.

Also, the vitamin section is very large ---and it would have taken a long time to find what I was looking for. The regular employees were doing the best they could. The manager could have helped me --but she did not bother. She did not want me to be there! I have shopped at Natural Grocers in at least five different cities. There is no happiness or good vibes in this store in Tyler. It is a very unhappy, sad store. This one in Tyler needs to have the corporate office step in to revive the place. I was the only one in the parking lot --about 10 minutes later, there were about three other customers. A very somber place. I did not feel welcome. I felt like I was an inconvenience to them---and they wanted me to leave. I like Natural Grocery a lot...and I do not want the company to close its stores because of disgruntled managers.

I can describe her older short white lady with grey/white hair, and she had glasses on. This was my first time going to this store, and will probably be my last due to this "trash customer service experience". I went to this store to find "better for you" nutri grain bars. As I looked through the aisles some of the brands were not very unfamiliar, so I took a photo of a box of bars, to text a photo to a friend to see if they heard / no of this brand. As I was did that the "educational manager" asked me if I was a instacart shopper. I said I was not, then turned back around. She then said I saw you taking photos, and since you are not an instacart shopper you cant. I told here why I was doing it ( to text a photo to a friend to see if they heard / no of this brand ). I then ask is she the manager, she said she is the educational manager. I then ask who is the manager, she then leaves to go get the manager. The manager comes, and just stands there and she follows behind. I then explain what I was doing, and he didnt say anything. The lady then says I got the manager so that things do not escalate. I then say I didnt ask for a manager, you just left and got one. She said I didnt know why you were talking photos, ( even through I told her why ), and I didnt know if you was talking photos and going to another store. She then say as long as you are not doing that its fine. I then say, "that is not what you said". You said I cant take photos because I'm not an instacart shopper, she then changed her story up because of the manager being right there. So in reality this lady was harassing me because she was suppositious of a black man taking photos in the store, once again ( even through I told her why ). This lady should be fired, and educated.

My soon-to-be 17 year old grandson loves them so much that he requsted a "chocolate chip Janie's cake" for his birthday cake. From a pickey teenager, that's a huge compliment to Janie. All the cakes have been fresh and very flavorful. In the process of ordering his cake, i mistakenly put my home address (Texas) as the delivery address instead of my daughter's. The prices are affordable and the owner is very friendly. I highly recommend this place because they have everything that you need and want. We will definitely be coming back because the owner is very welcoming and very helpful. They have fresh produce that are refrigerated and they are good quality. Amongst all of the Asian markets in Tyler, I am putting a stamp on this one as a chef this place is where you need to go!

I was waiting at the drop off location and when it was my turn I walked up and was not even acknowledged. Amanda the employee at this pharmacy answered a call instead of assisting me. Waited more than 5 minutes, and another employee just walked by yet again not acknowledging me. So I picked up my grocery basket and walked away. Decided to call, Amanda picks up and places me on hold for 13 minutes!! During this time I was able to pay for my food, get in my car, drive home and still nothing from her. No assistance whatsoever. So I decided to hang up because during those 13 minutes there was no "I'll be with you in a few short minutes. Or How can I help you." Whoever is head of this pharmacy needs new employees or a better lesson in customer service. Really thinking of taking my business to Walgreens across the street.
