He took the time to hand select bricks for best color and is even color matching the mortar to match our older home's existing mortar. After it was taken over by weeds and dug up by our schnauzer a few too many times, it was time to do it right. Cody came out for an estimate and design consultation. He is such a great guy who explains how it all works, gives you a reasonable number of options (helpful for me to not have information overload), and gets things moving. And for the work itself, these guys work hard and nonstop when the job begins. They show up on time and work full speed from morning until evening to get the job done. They build the patios in ways that work for Colorado weather, and they actually specialize in pavers, instead of a landscape company that doesn't do these types of patios nonstop. Paver patios are not cheap, but they're also not something you should do on your own unless you absolutely know what you're doing. If you're looking at redoing your outdoor space or patio, you should absolutely give these guys a look.

Our assigned project manager, Jeremy, was friendly and very professional, had insurance and license info ready at hand when asked, produced a reasonable quote, and did great follow up. The work crew, Freddy and Rigo, were absolutely fabulous.... Neatly and properly dressed, super courtesy while quietly working with the least amount of noise possible, never yelling or blasting music or slamming things around, and they were industrious throughout the day despite the 100 degree heat. These guys were very respectful of the property, demonstrated attention to detail in their work: measuring twice, using levels to make the wall perfect, were careful when moving equipment and product, and when using tools/machinery. They also cleaned up the job site... cleaner than when they first arrived! They didn't damage any plants, and left not a trace of their presence. With other companies and contractors, I have found water bottle caps, candy wrappers, cigarette butts, trampled flowers, bark kicked out on sidewalks, manufacturer stickers/labels laying around from products used or installed, nails or stains left on various surfaces; but this crew of Little Guy Pavers was just the opposite, and just excellent! Often times our remote projects are in the western United States where homeowners already understand the value a designer brings. The biggest downfall of designing remotely is not having a contractor to refer to our remote design clients because as I'm sure you can imagine, things don't usually go to plan and corners get cut. That changes for us when we met Joe. High end custom outdoor living construction is expensive, it takes a while and it's stressful but if the communication between all parties is on point, the project is a breeze. We're happy to have aligned ourselves with Aspenwood. Our other projects in the area have been train wrecks due to contractors promising things they cannot deliver, overbooking themselves and most importantly horrible communication. This company has knocked it out of the park for 3/3 of our area projects and we're looking forward to the next one.

We saw Ryan's work at the home of our neighbor and friend. This friend works in the building industry and has very high standards. He was impressed with Ryan's work too. We didn't collect other bids. We usually do our research, pick a contractor that has the best standards and reputation and pay the going rate. Our driveway is very big. The area we replaced is about the size of a basketball court. It was raining nearly every day for over a week, but the crew worked hard to get the old driveway up and hauled it all away. They used a three man crew most of the time but on the pour day there were a dozen skilled concrete finishers all working together like a team. I used to be a Union laborer in AZ when I was young. I helped prepare and pour concrete. I can say from my experience that Ryan and his team are professionals. They are also highly skilled. They even sealed the concrete the day after the pour. That's something I don't recall seeing when I worked my job. The finishing work and everything went smoothly. I'm more than pleased with the way it turned out. I would gladly recommend Diehl Concrete. They are honest, polite, hard working and clean up afterward.
