Landscape Connection recently completed a project in my front yard. Given the watering restrictions and increasing hot weather, I wanted help with creating a low water garden with resilient plants as well as decorative rocks. In addition, I wanted it to look attractive throughout the year. After doing considerable research, I found Landscape Connection and called them. Within a very short time, I was put in touch with Hailey Bruchner who came to my house and talked to my wife and me about what we wanted and contributed some ideas of her own. I was so impressed with her, I lost no time in hiring her company. Soon after that Hailey presented us with a detailed design that included everything we wanted and more. Once we decided to move forward, Hailey met me at Jensen Sales where together we selected rocks. I enjoy looking at rocks and I can appreciate their individual and unique beauty. As we looked at what was available, I could see that Hailey loves rocks too and has a superb eye when evaluating them. In fact, her discerning eye was applied to every aspect of the project, and not only is she talented, knowledgeable and experienced, she is professional, warm and a pleasure to work with. From beginning to completion, I could not be happier with all that Hailey and her team at Landscape Connection have done for me. read more

Since the first time we met with Devon, she was amazing to work with! She was able to work with us on a budget. Devon also had a great design and an even better crew. We cannot speak enough praises for Devon, Jose, and the team! We love our yard so much and am excited to have them back out for phase 2 in a few months. read more

We had an outstanding experience with Landscape Connection. Hailey, our designer/contact/project manager was terrific. She listened to what we wanted and then made several suggestions that improved our vision for our yard. She was very insightful about the types and balance of the plants that were installed. She was very responsive to any questions that we had (and we had many) and dropped by each day of the project. She was a delight to work with. Jose, our landscape team lead, was great. He and his team also listened to want we wanted, made changes on the fly, and designed new features that we only had a vague idea of what was needed. Their work was thorough and completed in a timely manner. They were flexible with the changes that we made as the work was progressing. We have had many landscape companies over the years as we have moved from place to place. By far and away, Landscape Connection was the best landscape company we have worked with. And their pricing was very competitive. Based on our experience we would highly recommend them. read more

The first thing I will say, is that you really need to get the ball rolling early on in the season, if you have a complete backyard renovation you want to get done. You cannot expect to reach out to an established landscape design company with a strong reputation, at the end of the season, and expect them to be able to complete your project and get back to you at the drop of a hat. I know this because last year we tried to get a project started in September, and I was way too late. I learned my lesson, and this year I reached out for estimates and designers in January/February. Something I learned and was surprised by, was that when the designer first comes out to your space, it is a very short visit. They come back at another time to do measurements and such, and then they set up a meeting at another time to go over what they drafted, followed by perhaps another meeting. Each Company I reached out to, followed this process. Also, i've found that it is common for them to only accept cash, so don't plan on using your credit card unless you are taking a cash advance. Ok, so now to the review. I reached out to about 10 different landscape design Companies. Landscape Connections was one of the first and most assertive getting back to me and setting up an appointment. Scott came out for a short visit to look at the space, and came back another time to take measurements. We met a week later to look at a drafted design plan, made some changes, and met the following week once again. Scott explained that the second plan was not set in stone, and we could make changes during the renovation as well. Scott was totally fine when were said we wanted to take some stuff out or save money here or there. We paid about $10k, which was 1/3 of the estimated cost, and they got started right away. I went to the stone place to pick out the pavers, and some trees. I mostly left the plants up to them, and really just wanted to have privacy from my neighbors. The crew is the main reason I give them 5 stars. They were so efficient, detailed, clean, and fast. Everyday when they were done working, they literally swept any dirt left on the driveway, street, or side walk. They hauled everything away with them each day, and never left trash. They bring their own port a potty. Scott also gets 5 stars. He kept is simple and to the point, and designed a great space. They renovated my backyard in around 2 weeks. They programmed by drip system and sprinklers and re-did the sprinkler system. After they were done, I decided I wanted a few more trees, and they were able to come by and plant them the following week. We decided to wait on the actual pergola, but had them put the casings in the ground so it would be ready. The price they quoted me for a custom pergola, was about 10k less than another company... Everything turned out very nice, and we have been enjoying our new back yard. Make sure you reach out and get started early in the year, if you want to have your yard done by spring. Also, lighting may not make sense to you when they put it on the drafted plan, but we did not go with all the lighting on the plan because we thought it wasn't necessary and would just save the money, but now wish we had. I now realize how much privacy and safety, the lighting elements bring to the yard. If I find a way to post photos of our yard, I will do so. read more

We partnered with Landscape Connection for a complete overhaul of our backyard landscape and our experience was exceptional. Ask for Devon! She is amazing - she was very patient with us, had great ideas/vision for the project and always took the time to answer our questions about the design, selection of materials/plants/trees, and ongoing care when the project was done. Devon came to check on the project almost daily (it was a big project spanning multiple weeks) and was always in lockstep with the crew doing the work. The crew was great, too! They were consistently punctual, paid close attention to the detail of their work, and kept the site very clean throughout the project. They delivered on Devon's vision down to the finest detail. We highly recommend Landscape Connection for any landscape project. You can count on them to help you with the design and execution of your project - and to get the project done on-time, on-budget, and at a competitive, fair price. Thank you to the Landscape Connection team for your great work. read more

We worked with Jared on a front and backyard design. Both turned out beautiful. Landscape Connection is an excellent company to work with. read more

Jared and the Team at Landscape connection really came through with not only a winning design for our patio and pathway, but with amazing quality! We had an outdoor fireplace installed, along with a pergola. As we decided to start the process in late fall (our decision, not Landscape Connection), we still have been able to use our patio with the fireplace, multiple times. I can't tell you how many our our neighborhood "neighbors" who have driven and walked by, have stopped to admire it. I now have Outside Living in Colorado 12 months a year. Thank you Landscape Connection! I highly recommend Jared and the Team! read more

Year one was the backyard. Year two was the front yard. And this year we had our patio redone - all by Landscape Connection. I wouldn't use anyone else! They are knowledgeable, professional, and honest with high standards and fair pricing. Devon is landscape designer extraordinaire! She really knows her plants and has an eye for detail and design. Plus she is great at communication and responsive to questions. Thanks to her, we have now nicknamed our lush xeriscape landscape "Denver Botanic Gardens West". Props also go to Pancho who meticulously cut and set the flagstone for our patio this year. He is truly a master craftsman. We feel very lucky to have discovered Landscape Connection. Now if only the weather would cooperate so we can get out there and enjoy our patio and gardens! read more

They put in a cobblestone patio for us and we were very happy with the process from start to finish. We would and will recommend this company. They are responsive. Helpful as far as design. Landscape Connection is an excellent company that we highly recommend. Joe Low and Devon DeLong are absolutely a pleasure to work with. Exceptional service, responsive, and professional from beginning to end. They have now done several sizable projects, all of which were very well planned and executed, and the results are better than expected. Where there was an issue, they dug in and got to the bottom of the matter to satisfactory results. We really appreciate all their hard work, and highly recommend them to our friends and neighbors. read more

Scott B. and Landscape Connection did an excellent job working with us on a new construction landscape installation. They provided a creative landscape plan with thoughtful suggestions after listening to our wish list. They covered all aspects including grading, irrigation, hardscape and plant material. We were able to adjust specific planting and bed designs during the installation process as we saw how the plan actually was being laid out. Suggestions were made so that we could stage the installation process to help spread the cost over a longer time frame. The crew who did the actual work showed very good craftsmanship, creativity and reliability. I would recommend Landscape Connection and plan to continue the use of their services. read more

We could not have had a better experience! Landscape Connection did absolutely everything right. We highly recommend them. Just a little background. Landscape Connection was not our original choice because we thought we would use the landscaper that had done a fine job for us ten years ago. Yet in checking the online reviews for the company, we discovered ownership had changed and the reviews were very mixed - some glowing, some horrific. So we began Googling. Online reviews mean a lot to us. We know enough to read between the lines, discern fake reviews, or realize when one person's poor experience was unique to their situation. Every online review for Landscape Connections from every source we searched was glowing! It almost seemed too good to be true. We had nothing to lose so we called them. From the moment Kym took our call and promptly set up our appointment with Scott to the final walk-through, everything, and I do mean everything, went perfectly. It could NOT have been better. We have high standards. We are perfectionists. Our project was a significant financial investment. When it was all done, we both said, "Wow. What a transformation! That was so well worth the money. We got even more than we thought we would." Sometimes you can say that when a project is finally done and all the missteps headaches are forgotten. Well, there were no missteps or headaches with Landscape Connection. Scott did a beautiful job on our design, translating our fumbling thoughts into something better than we every dreamed. Poncho constructed our fire pit, retaining wall, walkways, and stonework and it is all a handcrafted work of art. Poncho and his crew worked incredibly hard, entirely in synch and appearing to enjoy being together creating something lasting, unique, and wonderful. My husband stood mesmerized as he often watched the three of them meticulously and methodically lay each piece with precision and loving care. The worksite (our backyard and open field) was kept scrupulously neat - every day Poncho and his crew cleaned up. During the day we hardly knew they were here, they were so pleasant, respectful, and diligent. I've already mentioned Scott Blankenship but I need to emphasize his critical role in our selection of Landscape Connection. It was Scott's integrity, demeanor, and true north compass that had us believe from the moment we met him, that we could trust him. And that's what we did. We'd read the online reviews, like you are doing now, and we trusted Scott from the first meeting. There was something that connected our values with his and that was even before we saw his professional design expertise at work. Scott is fair, honorable, respectful, thorough, and a man of his word. He was personally on site at least four times during our two-week project. Everything was executed perfectly and took less than the anticipated time. I am out of superlatives to describe our amazing experience with Landscape Connection. Each step, each interaction was a pleasure and resulted in outcomes that exceeded our high standards. All I can say now is stop reading this review and make the call! You won't be sorry. Best of luck to you with your project. We could not be happier with ours. read more

Not for small projects. Had a 15k project done in 2014 and it's been nothing but problems since. Area next to my house was done in pavers and sand. Initially, it was graded to drain directly into the foundation of my garage. I asked them to lower it while it was in progress, which they did by about 1/2 inch. Every time it rains or there is snow melt, I have a puddle of water in my garage. Don't think the team understands gradation of small areas. Secondly, it seems that no weed prevention material was placed under the pavers. I've spent the last two summers pulling enough weeds to have an open meadow in my back yard. Boo. I don't know about you, but 15k was a lot for me to spend on a small area. I expected to be happier with the end result in the first three years. read more

love the Landscape connection, two years ago they landscaped our yard and added a fire pit, They were not only timely, but cleaned up every night, they had creative designs and excellent prices with a very personal touch. To this day I can call them for fixes to our drip system or other small things to keep my yard looking amazing, and am always treated like I am a special customer. Devon is so amazing to work with, she was great with giving me her opinion on plantings and every year I think my yard grows more beautiful! read more

I got to know the guys at Landscape Connection through a business group that we both belonged to. I was able to see some of their work over time and it appeared to be pretty excellent. We needed some flood mitigation done on our property, and we had a pond that we needed to have filled in and be paved over. We had them come over and do the work. To be honest the new patio they put in where the pond used to be is beyond excellent. I would never go out to look at the pond, now I need no excuse to go out there and enjoy the amazing patio and walls they've built up there. We live in nature and the natural stone they used blends right in with the surroundings. They've made a beautiful addition to our home that's added a huge amount of value to our home, that we absolutely love, and we use all the time. read more

The Landscape Connection exceeded our expectations! Everyone worked as a professional team and created a beautiful yard and patio for us.

Landscape Connection is a well respected, BBB accredited business. We contacted the company in February of 2014 after doing a lot of research to choose the best company for our needs. We desired a complete backyard renovation, including the addition of a paver patio, irrigation, and landscaping. Scott was the landscaper we worked with and we couldn't have been happier with the attention he gave to the project. He allowed us to be involved in paver and plant selection, even taking us to the owner's house to show us landscaping and patio ideas! Scott listens to your needs and provides his advice since he has formal education in horticulture and years of experience. The entire planning, design, and execution took about 3 months and Scott oversaw the entire project from start to finish. We were thrilled that the project was on time and there was no deviation from the original estimate that Scott presented to us. We hardly ever used our backyard before the renovation. Now we LOVE being back there and our neighbors all say we got an "HGTV" transformation! read more

Three years ago we contacted The Landscape Connection for a consultation on a newly constructed home. After interviewing other companies, it was a very clear and easy decision to hire them. Devon was our planner and she brought some wonderful ideas to the table taking into consideration our preferences. We divided the project up into 2 phases. Phase 1 included trees, shrubs, perennials, rock, boulders, 3000 sq. ft of sod with a water saving irrigation system and a beautiful rock firepit with a flagstone patio. Phase 2, they installed a beautiful rock pathway along the side of our home. They educated us on all the equipment and care and were always available if we had a question or needed help. Each year I have them winterize my lawn and shrubs along with winterizing the irrigation system. Devon is always quick to respond to any communicaton and they are always prompt with their work. Joe, Devon and the rest of the crew are great and I would highly recommend them. Thank you Landscape Connection and I will continue to use your services!! read more
