Then they need to have the ID sent electronically to verify insurance, or you have to bring it in first before an appointment can be scheduled. The service might be great, that I don't know and it's hard enough going to the doctor, but have to go in to take them your ID and then still wait for an appointment. That's just way too much.! That's too much I'll just go somewhere else.

The original plan was to plan for a natural vaginal delivery, but after 36 hours of labor and seeing my son in distress (and only worsening) on the heart monitor, we made the call to do an emergency C - section. Throughout the entire prenatal appointments and even when I was at the hospital, he was always on top of it. I have so many great things to say about Dr. Edward, and I am writing this review reluctantly because I know his practice is no longer receiving any new patients. This is so unfortunate because this office was truly a God send for my husband and I. He's professional, always available to answer questions, and I felt at ease with his explanations because I know he is always up to date on the latest medical technology and research. He's also just a nice warm person-- someone that makes you feel comfortable. Side Note: I went to high school with Eddie (Dr. Edward) and so I am also friends with his family, and they sweet & focused on family values. I love supporting a private practice that is family owned and operated, since I truly believe that it's important to support local businesses as a small business owner myself. The only problem is that I moved to Austin, TX so he can no longer be my doctor :(

I was definitely nervous going into surgery, but everyone was so kind and reassuring and made me feel safe and comfortable from the moment I walked in. My CRNA, aka my "Sleepytime Doctor," kept things really fun and kept my spirits up, which I really appreciated because it helped me relax. When he told me I would be under twilight sedation, I remember thinking to myself, "Okay, vampire. Team Edward or Team Jacob?" Everything went so smoothly, and I felt completely taken care of. I also noticed how well all of the nurses and staff worked together. Everyone helped each other out, communicated well, and it really felt like a team. There was plenty of parking, and I really liked how easy the patient pickup was. The pickup area is right outside the door, so I didn't have to walk far after surgery and whoever was picking me up could park right there. That was such a nice convenience after having a procedure. My surgeon was also wonderful. He was friendly, positive, and reassuring throughout the whole process, which made a big difference when I was feeling nervous. I also really appreciated that both my surgeon and one of the nurses followed up with me on different days after surgery to see how I was doing. That really stood out to me because it made me feel like they genuinely cared about my recovery and not just getting me through the procedure. Surgery is obviously not something anyone looks forward to, but the people at Glendora Surgery Center made me feel safe, cared for, and comfortable throughout the whole experience. I'm really glad this was where I had my surgery.

She did my IV before my surgery and didn't actually get a vein, I told her my arm was getting swollen and she said it was fine. I flagged down a guy nurse who was about to wheel me in, I told him it didn't feel right, he looked and his eyes widened immediately. (edit: he was actually the anesthesiologist now that I remember) He told the nurse she was wrong and didn't get a vein, they had to start a new one. You could tell his frustration with her was a constant thing. Fast forward, my aunt had surgery here about a month ago. What do you guess happened.... SAME SITUATION, SAME NURSE. I think it is ridiculous, she is rude and has the worst bedside manners for a nurse to begin with but she's also not good at her job. This is a scary thing for us undergoing surgery and she tries to act like little mistakes happen & while yes I understand they do, this is just toooo coincidental for me. Two people, same family, years apart. Scary. Anyways, not to scare people but just want to inform people. Advocate for yourself. Don't let this nurse gaslight you. It's your life & your body!

The events that followed were a nightmare to say the least because I was hanging by a thread between life and death, unable to pick myself up, but forced myself to work each day praying I'll make it home. Nine doctors later and through much prayers from family, friends, and prayer groups, I received the miracle of healing... By divine guidance, I was led here. Initially, through Yelp reviews, I scheduled an appt, but due to the severity of my health condition, decided to leave the country and skipped my first live blood analysis (LBA). I needed the trip and temporarily got better, but I wanted a holistic approach to resolve whatever it was that doctors couldn't figure out. After much research, I came across olive leaf extract, which surprisingly controlled my symptoms right away. With more research, I came across an Internet article by Dr. Privitera regarding olive leaf extract. I didn't have the chance to meet him, but I was inspired by this God loving man. He did things out of his love for people, even risking his family's sake to save others. (The newspaper article about his trials can be read when you come into the office.) God bless his soul and those he saved! Reading each comment on his funeral pages, I decided to give it a shot again. Ten must be the charm. End of September 2017, I met Robert, who did my LBA with a drop of blood. He is kind, patient, experienced, and knowledgeable. A week later, I came in for scan with Mark and bought the recommended supplements. Both the LBA and the non-invasive scan were eye-opening experiences. You definitely walkout knowing more about your body and what you need to do. After two weeks of supplementation, I felt so much better. Months gone by under their care and I felt like myself again. At my peak, I felt even healthier than in my college years. I was never one to supplement previously, but I'm convinced. I still visit them because I feel like I owe my life to them. My son loves playing basketball and soccer, and Gavin did such an incredible job incorporating that into his sessions. He made the exercises relatable to basketball movements and drills, which kept my son engaged and excited to participate. Instead of dreading therapy, he actually looked forward to it. Gavin has a natural ability to connect with kids. He was patient, encouraging, and always made sure my son felt comfortable and confident.
