Recently, I was put in charge of finding a vendor for printing services for a couple of large 8' x 4', full color, custom vinyl banners. After completing initial online research and a few frustrating sessions of trying to upload the images for on-demand printing quotes, whose software tools had lots of glitches, I decided to try my luck with local "Brick and Mortar" vendors in my area. I thought it would be easier if I could visit a shop and meet in person and may provide a better educational experience, as we will have future needs for these services. Well, after a very long wait and shocking quote, I decided to call a few of the online vendors originally researched to compare pricing. I'm sure glad I did. Although I had to leave messages for the first two companies called, the third company, Blue Wave Printing answered. Not only did they answer they put me in touch with Jason, one of their design professionals, who actually took the time to understand my needs, answer all my questions, and walk me through the ordering process. I then received an email quote that blew my mind. It was 80% less (YES, 80% LESS) than I had been quoted by the local company and by far the best online quote received. Within a day, I had proofs to review. Even the revision process for the proofs was easy! Jason would pick up the phone and call me instead of trying to email me a confusion question, which I very much appreciated as it allowed us to stay on timeline and elevated what could have been a lengthy email chain back and forth. Of course, I was a little nervous to see the end result. Wondering if the print colors would look good, if the cropping would actually look like the proof, it the stitching work would be professional etc. and boy did I get a nice surprise. Not only did the banners arrive a day early, they were exactly what we wanted. The images perfectly cropped, color vibrant, stitching professional, and we were not charged a penny more than quoted! It is not an easy task to find a quality vendor who delivers exceptional service, products and value. But when you do, you become a customer! I recently had to do a custom printing order with specific shipping needs, and after searching through the big Internet print shops and mom and pop shops with Internet presences, I chose Blue Wave. I am very happy with Blue Wave because they delivered quality products and provided great customer service. These guys know their products and could easily customize, unlike a big website where the customer rep didn't seem to know the products and couldn't give me the detailed answers on things like size, thickness, etc. I needed to print and ship mounted posters to a conference at a hotel and I wanted to order in advance and have them print and hold for shipping - the big guys will only work on their schedule and couldn't give me the guarantees I needed on lead time since I needed the posters to arrive in a very specific 3 day timeframe with consideration for custom printing. Also, not a lot of other print shops offered the option to ship posters with an easel backing pre-mounted for you - this was a relief instead of having to try to also time the shipping from Staples or Uline (and I would have had to order those units in bulk and pay additional shipping). During presales I got very quick answers via email at all hours (even though they seem to be a 9-5 type of operation) and I worked with Carly for finalizing and getting all the details straight. She was on top of everything and followed up to ensure I was happy. The only thing I found odd about their process is that you don't get proofs until after you pay, whereas most websites can do an online proof at upload time. This wasn't really a big deal since you will be working directly with a human to proof everything. The pricing also seemed pretty reasonable and since they could ship with easel backs and also ship floor stand easels, I saved time and shipping where I would have had to ship from multiple different suppliers. We ordered 3 large display presentation checks that were made out to three different charity organizations and going to three different locations. All ordering was done online and the process was very easy - especially because I was shipping to three different places! I worked with JoMarie on finalizing the details and she couldn't be more helpful or responsive. She notified us our image wasn't the best to see if we had another we'd like to submit. How many other places would just print what you sent them? I was so appreciative she did that and we sent a larger file that would look better on these large checks. JoMarie gave us fantastic service and was such a pleasure to deal with. I was concerned the wrong checks would go to the wrong property but she assured me they would go where intended and it was seamless. We did have one check arrive damaged - due to the shipping company, NOT Blue Wave. When I was notified of the damaged check, I called and JoMarie was right on it! She had us take pics of damaged check and the damaged box and immediately issued us another check that was sent out in time for our event. Absolutely wonderful customer service and the quality was excellent! You never know when ordering online and I wasn't exactly sure what the material would be, but it was very impressive and sturdy! My first experience with Blue Wave was nothing short of incredible. Somewhat weary of ordering from an online company, my fears were quickly dispelled after my first interaction with someone in customer service before I placed my order. They were friendly, informative and offered great advice. Within minutes of placing my order for a 6' x 8' zip stand, I received a phone call and email from my delightful customer service rep, Carly M. She made sure we were all set and had the correct files uploaded. The zip stand turned out beautifully! The photo quality on the stretch fabric was beyond what I thought to be possible. Crystal clear. We crossed three states to get to the career fair and voila - the zip stand zipped up WITH ZERO WRINKLES. Not one! Really!! In my workplace, we are obsessed with the details, and this made my heart happy! I am extremely pleased with the stand - it is easy to put together and I could have handled it by myself if needed - though an extra hand to help slide the fabric over the frame and assist with zipping is a big help. We received lots of compliments from our fellow fair-attendees and I won't be surprised if we see a few more of these stands popping up at future fairs. We are all the way in The San Francisco Bay Area, but I found Blue Wave on Google when I was looking to print our small company logo on a waterproof, vinyl sheet (Not Polyester Fabric like so many other companies have!) We would be pouring organic grape juice and it could really stain a fabric if not cleaned up promptly, I placed my order about 10 days before our event which was really close!! But after I sent in the order A lovely Customer Representative named Katie H contacted me with a proof and double check on the size and placement. She also let me know that the image was looking slightly pixelated blown up and I could send her a bigger image file. I was able to send/upload a bigger image file via Dropbox link and she confirmed everything. She also let me know that there might be an issue with shipping and getting it on time, so I upgraded to 3 day air shipping. In 2 business days after that, Blue Wave emailed me a shipment notification and we received our Table Runner Sign (Not pixelated at all, it was beautiful with sharp smooth edges and bright colors) as well as a Whiteboard with our logo on it. It was lovely andwe were very pleased with their overall service and customer satisfaction!! I've never filled out a Yelp review before but Big Check Store and Blue Wave Printing was such first rate company I felt the need to. I'm holding a Memorial/Charity event this weekend and needed a Large Ceremonial check and a banner. A simple Google search led me to the Big Check Store. I was nervous ordering online because there's always the fear of getting ripped off or the quality not being right. But once I put an order for the Check in I received an email from Blue Wave Printing Rep Carly Mineau that put me at ease. She went through the Proofing process and assured me that nothing would be finalized until I approved the design. The check came a few days later and the quality was so good that I decided to order a banner. After asking around I was under the impression that if I ordered one here in New York I'd spend around 150 dollars. I needed a presentation check for a donation from our company, so I placed an order with the Big Check Store that I came across from a Google search. I received an email from Carly very quickly that she had reviewed my design and she recommended I send her a high-resolution version of my logo to prevent it from printing blurry. I am grateful for her careful attention to detail. She was even kind enough to send me the logo with the background removed upon my request, which I very much appreciated as I don't have the software to do that myself. That is the extra step that made her service go above and beyond in my opinion. I worked with Stephanie Gaudette when I purchased my order with Blue Wave printing. We were headed to a trade show and needed our order printed and shipped ASAP. I ordered a curved tube zip back drop with 4 lights, feet and a light protector. I also ordered a 6ft table cloth. I must say usually when things get printed they do not turn out to be exactly as they look in the PDF; However, Blue Wave Printing and Stephanie delivered a beautiful booth design for us that looked BEAUTIFUL! Amazing products at amazing prices. We recently had a raffle for our big fundraiser and wanted to present our winner with a presentation check. We stumbled across Blue Wave's website and what an easy experience! We used one of their templates and made it our own (so easy!). After submitting our order we were contacted by the company telling us that a representative would be emailing me to approve the proofs before going to print. Our representative was Avani Shah and she was amazing! We back dated our presentation check to display the date of our event and she caught it and made sure that was the date we wanted. The same day the check was printed and then I got a shipping notification that we could expect the check to be delivered by the end of the next day. The check looked amazing too! We had our logo on it and sometimes it can pixelate, which we worried about, but it came our crystal clear. I googled giant checks & this website came up first, I wasn't sure what to expect... But, I was SO pleased & happy with my experience & the product I received!!! Over the past few years I have had to borrow money from my parents & in addition to finally being able to pay them off in full... I thought this would be a truly special addition to paying them back. I got to work with Carly Mineau at Blue Wave Printing & Display. This was an incredible experience and they did such a good job with follow-up. Initially, I had some issues with the website design tool and questions on the different products. That's when I got a chance to work with Carly, she was very knowledgeable about the products and also offered me additional options based on our travel needs. Now a days, when someone says they will call you back cause they are leaving for the day, you pretty much take that as a ttyn but not with Carly. The company I work for wanted to order a check for donations, we ordered a large white-board check in which I was able to customize with our logo and there's an option to be able to have your background design match the color of your logo. It was nice being able to do all of this myself online as well. Once I placed the order Carly Mineau from the company contacted me and sent me a proof to make sure everything looked good before going into production. Once approved it only took a week to get here. It came exactly how it looked online and we have used it with white board markers multiple times and it always comes off super easily. Then on top of that Carly even contacted me afterwards to make sure I received it and made sure if it met my expectations or not. Thank you, Blue Wave, for bringing the iFormBuilder banner to life! This year, we decided to move from a hanging banner to a 20ft banner with the stand. The initial contact with the Blue Wave team was a very positive one. Within an hour after I placed the order, a member of their customer service team emailed me stating they were my representative and were going to work with me to finalize the order. Samantha didn't hesitate when I told her that we would need the finished product a week later and she was patient and friendly as we finalized the graphics. A piece of the pole broke right before the event. Although we were in a bit of a panic, the Blue Wave team reassured us that they would overnight a replacement piece. My company is having an event this week where we'll give out large checks. I'm new to the job with no records from my predecessor, so I went looking for companies online and decided to give Blue Wave a shot. Designing my check was very easy - I added our company logo to one of the templates. I had a lot of fun picking out the font for the check. Within hours of submitting my order, I got an email about the file I had used for the graphic with a warning it would not print at the best quality. I sent another file to Carly (who was my angel the whole way), and she shot me a new proof right back. They arrived on time in perfect condition, and my boss was impressed. We were/are extremely pleased with the finished product, quality and level of customer service from Blue Wave. We were in a bind and needed a nice backdrop for our trade show booth...but we needed it FAST. Not only was the turnaround time amazing (we paid rush fees, but still impressive nonetheless), but the customer service and help from Samantha, our sales rep, was also top notch. They ensured that even though it was a rush job, the logo was "clean" and overall quality was still great. It made a HUGE difference in the overall look of our booth and the backdrop was so light it was super easy to travel with on our flight. We also needed it to arrive before our flights departed and they made sure to meet our delivery deadline as well. We ordered on a Tuesday and had the backdrop at our studio within 3 Business Days!
