I chose the 2 hours full body massage w/no oil . I sat down; took off my shoes; was given a key lock and pajamas ; locked up my clothes in the locker; sat in another chair as they rinsed my feet; walked over to the partitioned massage area and proceeded with my two hour session( no showers only a bathroom). The first two hours the masseuse was good, but I felt she was getting tired after 1 hour. After the session was over , I opted for another 2 hours, this time by Miss RezAle. But earlier this year, I was surprised to find out that Tonton Massage, San Antonio Village, Pasig no longer was! The receptionist informed me over the phone as I booked an appointment that the owner had bought out her shares and the spa was called Oliva Verde Thai Message & Wellness. Despite this shocking revelation, my dad and I decided to give the place a try anyway. In all honestly, management didn't really change much apart from the slightly higher rates compared against Tonton. Service is good and the therapists were polite and skilled, but from a personal perspective, I'd much rather head over to Tonton and save an extra P50/100 on the service.

Yeah, I never really did that triathlon *shrugs* but I still keep coming back to Ace to swim, enjoy their spa and relax my stress away. This place has a real sense of class to it. When you enter the locker room, they remove your shoes and give you a locker to store all your things. You can choose to swim laps in their lap pool, soak in one of their hot/cold baths, or even try out a sauna or steam room. But the main attraction here is the "hydrotherapy massage". As their website claims, it is the first in the Philippines to offer such a service. It's really a trip if you've never experienced it before. Imagine getting a massage but instead of hands, it's water. RIGHT? Little tip, bring a towel with you since it's probably the only thing they don't provide free of charge. Pros -Awesome facilities. Cons -Can get really crowded on the weekends. -A bit pricey. Especially if you forget to bring something.

To start off: YES that have WIFI…read moreYES they accept Credit Cards YES they allow walk-in's (but reservations highly suggested. I stumbled into I'M Onsen Spa on a Sunday afternoon, hoping to unwind with a reasonably priced massage and a dip in their Onsen. But of course, the universe had other plans. They were fully booked. So, after a few raised eyebrows and some typical Manila hustle, I was left with a couple of choices: 2-hour access to the Onsen, gym, or pool for 1,500 PHP, or a whole damn day of everything for 4,000 PHP. Decisions, decisions. Now, let's be clear: For a city like Manila, this place is a godsend. I'm giving it 3 stars because, let's face it, Manila has a long way to go in the spa game. But in the context of this chaotic, buzzing city, I'd still give it 5 stars. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and it does what it promises: relaxation in the heart of the madness. Here's the kicker: the Onsen and spa are tucked into a little corner on the second floor. It's essentially open doors, and that's where things get a little... Manila. Picture this: you're soaking in a hot bath, the steam rising from your body, and instead of the serene hum of a quiet retreat, you're assaulted by the honking horns, the screeching motorcycles, and the random guy walking around yelling "Taho Taho!" That's the soundtrack to your Zen moment here. Add to that the thick, greasy smell of gasoline mixed with street food, and you're no longer in a Japanese mineral bath. You're in the middle of a bustling city, and it shows. But hey, that's Manila for you, right? And still, I'll give them credit--those hot springs are crystal clear, odorless, and the temperature almost hits right. There are two baths: a smaller one that leans toward "hot" and a larger one that's more on the lukewarm side. If you've been to an Onsen before, you might feel a little cheated, but it's still a decent soak. The saunas? Well, the dry sauna is a thing of rustic beauty with its curved wood, but don't look too closely. You'll start noticing a few blemishes, a bit of wear and tear. As for the heat, it's intense. I lasted about 45 seconds before I had to throw a bucket of mineral water over my head-- and please don't throw water over those electric heaters. Not coal. It's not the real deal. And then there's the steam sauna. Imagine stepping into a boiling can of Vicks VapoRub. It's pungent. It's almost suffocating. But I'll be honest, it did wonders for my sinuses. If you're looking to clear your head or singe the hairs from your nose, it's the perfect torture. Now, a word of warning: If you're used to a traditional Onsen experience, you might feel like you've wandered into a budget version of the real thing. There are no fancy lotions, no high-end shaving kits, none of the usual spa perks. This place is no-frills. So, if you're expecting luxury or authenticity, bring your own stuff, because you won't find it here. In the end, if you've been to a real Onsen, this place might leave you disappointed. But if you're just looking for a solid spa experience with a touch of something different in the heart of Manila--somewhere between the chaos and the calm--this spot delivers. Just book a massage and get there early. And maybe, just maybe, bring earplugs.

I'm glad they survived lockdown, and it seems that they've made improvements with the decorations, lighting, and upgrades to the facility. What I use to do with my traveling group was spend 5 hours of 5 different treatments which would normally include a facial, body massage, foot massage, body scrub, mani/pedi and services includes a complimentary dinner buffet! You can also customize your treatment package. After much debate, I was initially too embarrassed to go all bare, a bit too exposing around my friends. Just give in. When in Rome. Plus everyone is doing it! The korean spa's full-body scrub exfoliation will also leave your skin glowing and incredibly soft. I will warn you that when you receive a body massage, you will get complete body stretching at the end, only to find yourself thrown completely up in the air using all your masseuses body strength! My only disappointment's and surprised that the water in the "Hot Tub" was filled with lukewarm water. Top that off with showers that also had lukewarm water as well. Although you're in a tropical climate country, it's a bit refreshing. some may appreciate it. But for most, you'd like to be in a jacuzzi instead. The funniest moment was that my other half's work colleague recognized him as we were in the dining hall! Such a small world!. Located in Pasay City just off of Roxas Blvd near World Trade Center. Anywho, it worked out in our favor as our massage was AMAZING. It's definitely a no frills spot, and if you can remove any preconceived notions of the gritty facade and weathered interior, you'd be pleasantly surprised. What a gem. We opted for the one hour body massage and were both blown away by the depth of it. I don't know what style massage that was, but DAMN it was good. A mix in of some chiropractic for sure. I've paid far too much for other massages half the quality. So having never navigated this type of facility before (and limited Tagalog under our belt), the staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. We also received a small sampling of massage oil as well!
