I've been here twice already and I keep going back. The water spa is amazing in a way that the water is luke-warm, the place smells like rose-scented flowers, and the water pressure on each massage area is just enough - not too light nor too strong. Going to this place is such a treat. The facilities are great and well-maintained. I used to go here quite a bit when I was in my "triathlon" phase. Yeah, I never really did that triathlon *shrugs* but I still keep coming back to Ace to swim, enjoy their spa and relax my stress away. This place has a real sense of class to it. When you enter the locker room, they remove your shoes and give you a locker to store all your things. You can choose to swim laps in their lap pool, soak in one of their hot/cold baths, or even try out a sauna or steam room. But the main attraction here is the "hydrotherapy massage". As their website claims, it is the first in the Philippines to offer such a service. It's really a trip if you've never experienced it before. Imagine getting a massage but instead of hands, it's water. RIGHT? Little tip, bring a towel with you since it's probably the only thing they don't provide free of charge. Pros -Awesome facilities. Once you go thru the routine (getting the key, locker, rinse, watercap, and find your way to the pools), this place is lovely. Very enjoyable and clean. Lots of jet sections focusing on different parts of the body, a lazy river, a dump bucket shower (more fun than it sounds), a crazy-intense waterfall, etc - it's nonstop! The four aromatic pools were soothing and I liked the cold water dip. The steam room and sauna are enough for several people to sit comfortably. You could easily spend 3 hours soaking and taking in the water spa. Tip for women *** The women's locker room offers water slippers and hand-held hairdryers .. but if you're set on drying your hair, I'd bring one from home. I witnessed an ugly scene with a few girls over a hair dryer. Not worth it! Tip for men *** The spa has a very hard rule on men's watershorts. No loose or baggy clothing, no board shorts. Make sure to bring speedos or cycle shorts. Or purchase one at registration. read more

I didn'tknow what to expect coming here but it is worth the experience! When coming in they have you pay at the front and you go upstairs to go towards the lockers but before going in the workers give you a tray for your shoes, a key for the lock and a head cap. Shoes not allowed inside locker area and going towards the pool area too and no phones allowed inside locker or pool which makes sense cause no one will watch your stuff. I didnt know what the head cap was for until I tried everything at the water spa. I didn't understand it at first when I went to the hot tub area(s) but going in the lazy river and trying out their water massages, ya it was a definate need to wear the cap cause theres an area for head massage and the water is pretty rough on your head so its to protect your hair from the rough water and from chemicals. The way to use each water location for a massage is with a push of a button. Theres literally a designated places for everything from head to feet. Gah, I love Metrodeal and other deal sites that let you experience new places on a massive discount. We were able to book a room in the Ace Hotel, which came with complimentary tickets to the Ace Water Spa, and we wasted no time going here, and we spent the entire morning just luxuriating in their amazing pool choices - happy that we weren't out in the sweltering Manila sun like most folks. Pool choices. Yup, you heard that right, there are a bunch of pools scattered all over the place, all with different kinds of approaches to helping you destress. My favorite is the Jacuzzi-like herbal tea bath, which lets you simmer in 40C water. You can actually feel your muscles sigh in contentment as they unclench. read more

Unfortunately this 3rd time going there coincided with Day 1 of a new period of Metrodeal coupon period and it being ome of the last Sundays of summer before most school starts again. The line and waiting time were soooooo long. Omce we were in, the pool areas were jampacked we could barely experience any of the water massage spots. I love how often Ace Water Spa puts up deals online for you to avail of, getting full access to their pool facilities at discount rates like 30% off or more. I went here for an afternoon of relaxation with my siblings, and surprisingly it ended up being a pretty fun way to unwind too. The pool area is huge, with a selection of pools to choose from, like the lap pool, the lazy river, and of course the hydrotherapy stations, but it's cool to note that the showers prior to the actual pools are pretty relaxing already. I loved the hydrotherapy stations, intended to massage different parts of your body at varying levels of water pressure. It's great just sitting down at one of the stations with a weaker water pressure and just chat. The herbal pools that go as high as 40 degrees were a pretty new and calming experience too, and I find that there aren't too many people there at any time. Malls are now crammed with all-you-can-eat buffets and other similar promos. Some bank on the variety of dishes they offer while some simply claim to be the cheapest and most affordable of the lot. The all-you-can-eat packages of Ace Water Spa can be considered as a little bit of both. They have a wide variety of selection from appetizers to desserts at a very reasonable price. But what sets it apart from all the others is the overall ambiance of the place. Dining area was quiet and the servers were very accommodating. And of course, what I enjoyed most was the fact that the swimming pool was just a glass wall away from where I was eating. I was able to watch the patrons do their laps or experience the hydromassage packages from the comfort my seat. This totally made the dining experience a really relaxing and peaceful one. read more

My tip goes up here -- if you want to fully enjoy the relaxing, refreshing spa that Ace is meant to be, avoid going on weekends. ESPECIALLY when they have deals up on deal sites. We had to wait a while to get in, and the locker rooms were, to say the least, a zoo. That said, Ace is a good place to visit when you want to relax and at the same time interact with your friends. They have a pretty grand facility, with a big lap pool, a fun kiddie pool set up with a slide and all. Then there was the long lazy river that snakes around the hydrotherapy jet pools. And of course, the hot herbal pools that range from 38 to 40 degrees. I enjoyed those quite a bit except for the dipping yourself in ice cold water bit afterwards. As for cleanliness i'm not sure that with the volume of people availing of the place is a good time to review. Nothing overtly disgusting though. read more

The water is like my second home. I find it very relaxing to be underwater. I love to just be, live in the moment and I've always wanted to be a mermaid. The only ironic thing is that I'm not a great swimmer (Ah, there's the rub!) but it doesn't stop me from being on mermaid mode whenever I'm swimming in the sea or just at a pool. When I got a text from my friends that there's this promo on a water spa, I was really intrigued because a) the water is my domain and b) I would have a spa day everyday if I could. We immediately availed for the promo (Metrodeal if I remember correctly) and set a date for our water spa girls day out. When we got there, I was amazed at how huge the place is...high ceiling, a big changing and shower room, a wide lap pool, a fun river pool (my personal favorite) and Jacuzzi-like spa pools in cute and funky colors (and scents - kind of like you're chilling in a pool of tea, haha). It was a bit crowded which I wasn't a fan of but I still had fun pool hopping in the vicinity with my friends. Just the idea of writing this review makes me realize that I need to revisit this place. It's been a minute and I miss it. I first came to ACE Water Spa with my niece. I wanted to take her somewhere different -- not the mall or the zoo... and since there are no libraries or beaches that are easily accessible from Manila, I thought that this would be the perfect activity for us to enjoy. I was right. We went swimming pretty much the entire afternoon. There's different types of water pressure and tubs with ranging temperatures here and it's just a blast to come through here. The actual pool/ spa is nice and relaxing but customer service is horrible. The rules makes the whole trip not worth it! They don't allow you to do anything and it's not worth the money. If you don't have the right swim wear they will not allow you to swim. They also don't allow phones so when you go don't expect to be able to capture the moment. Overall if you know the rules and don't care about rude employees then you should enjoy the spa. read more

Hotel was nice nothing special for the price of 130 a night. The spa we never tried because you have to wear exact swim wear and this was NOT told or explained on the website or front desk...bought 6 tickets total waste unless you want to wear rental spandex speedos...(beyond gross). Even called the front desk and the lied to me about the rule and needs. It looked nice but you must bring you speedo and swim wear. Staff is just yes people location is ok but if you not used to manila Don't book here. Would not recommend to anyone. read more
