This place needs total renovations. The entire spa has a rundown appearance. Tiles, flooring, are all outdated. It doesnt make you feel you're in a "SPA". Its just like an old YMCA facility. read more

I came here with my sister and my mom to relax for a few hours. Its a very cheap getaway from reality for both kids and adults. It's a coed spa, so swimwear is required. If you need to, they have a rental area for a pair of rash guards (~$5). The locker rooms also have showers that you can use afterwards. The parking was difficult, but we were able to find a spot on the side of the street. The Spa has multiple amenities and different kinds of water massages, saunas and some herbal pools. My favorite was the waterfall, lazy river and the herbal pools. The herbal pool has 3 different types: Mint, Jasmine and Lavender. Each one had a different temperature. I love swimming so much that I don't consider it a sport or an exercise. I think I'm one of the people who swim laps for fun (and get a really good workout as a side effect). I was so disappointed that free access to a swimming pool stopped after college, and most of the pools available in the Metro would only accommodate civilians at a certain time, or only by membership. When Ace Water Spa opened up in Quezon City, I was so happy that I only needed one place to enjoy my craft (yes, I consider swimming a craft) and then get a nice, relaxing hydrotherapy massage afterwards. They have a 6-lane lap pool for those who want to train, and during certain times they close half of the lap pool for people learning to swim (all ages are welcome!). In the actual spa area, they have a lazy river for those who just want to relax (floating devices are provided), and they have a variety of pressurized jets and showers that will massage specific areas of your body until you are satisfied. They also have three heated herbal pools to choose from - one of my favorite amenities of Ace Water Spa. Choose from Mint, Jasmine and Lavender, and enjoy your whole body being immersed in the most relaxing hot pool ever. Make sure not to stay too long though, and jump in the cold pool right after. I wasn't a fan of Ace Water Spa, mainly because when I went there the place was very crowded and practically bursting with people, and the whole pool experience isn't very great when presented with that sort of situation. I'm not sure how I would have liked it if it wasn't as crowded though. To be fair, the place was very clean and they made you wear these red swimcaps, for hygiene and stuff I guess, but it looked a little ridiculous to be honest. I kept imagining myself and everyone in the area looking like little pimples or something, but ridiculousness aside, it was all very clean, which I liked. There are showers that act like massage machines and a pool with a current in it so you can sit on a salbabida and float lazily away, but the part I most enjoyed was the herbal hot tubs. There are four heated pools with distinct scents to them, mint and rose and the like, and after soaking in them for a certain amount of time (you can't soak too long or it'll be bad for you - the water is very hot) you dive into an ice-cold pool in the center. I think it's supposed to do something for your pores - the mechanics escape me, but it was all very soothing. Well, lying in the heated pool, at least. Diving into the ice-cold freezing pool? Er, not so much. Overall, I wasn't very relaxed, nor very impressed. Ace Water Spa seems like a popular place though, and I'm sure if you visit during a time when it's not as populated your experience will be considerably more enjoyable than mine. read more

The first time I experienced Ace Water Spa, I think I was around 12 years old. So I was pretty much an excitable, impressionable me. And really, what 12 year old kid wouldn't be excited about the humongous Ace Water Spa? I mean it's no water theme park but the sight of tons of pools and fountains and even lit-up pools made me feel like it was my birthday. It's good to remember though that you strictly need to wear swimming gear here. So no board shorts or anything like that. It's not everyone's cup of tea but what lays beyond the entrance was pretty worth it to me. My favorite has got to be the massage pools and the therapy pools. It's just so calming to be able to swim and at the same time have pulsing water hit your back. It's not as hard as a massage by hand, but it's something different. The therapy pools are just great for not thinking about anything and just relaxing in the water. ACE Water Spa is not exactly the place I go to all the time, but definitely something I can splurge on. read more

For a price of no more than 600 Pesos, you can enjoy 4 full hours of wading in the pool, enjoying the water massages, and having great quality time talking to your family and friends while relaxing altogether. They also provide separate locker rooms for men and women, which also come with shower and changing rooms. Tips: photography and food are not allowed inside, so you better plan where to ear after! I recommend walking towards Z Square Mall, which is just a street away from Ace Water Spa. Also, take advantage of promos, vouchers, the birthday deal, and the membership card which comes with great add-ons and discounts. read more

With heated indoor pools, you can swim in comfort all year round. The lazy river is quite fun for kids and babies, just keep a watchful eye out for other swimmers and rafts. If you have tight muscles, try the different aquamassage stations to work those knots out. They also have hot herbal pools that are dyed in rather funky colors. Kids are not allowed in these though. After a hot dip, don't forget to cool off in the cold pool right near the herbal ones. I never can stay in there for longer than 60 seconds but you might be able to beat my record quite easily! read more

I'm not one to go have a spa day or to even get the casual massage, but if I'm going to be pampering my body and melting my stresses away, it'll be at Ace Water Spa. Some people may be turned off by the idea of sharing the water spa experience with strangers, or by being forced to don unattractive swim caps and tight-fitting swimwear (especially for the guys), but a day spent here will have you forgetting all about that. Ace Water Spa is like a wonderland of water treatments designed to have you relax and unwind and get those knots out of your system. It's a nice feeling to just be weightless in the water but have all sorts of mechanized springs and spouts and waterfalls going at it on your tired, aching joints and muscles. If you would actually like to tire yourself and exercise even more, there's a lap pool for you to use. If you like it a little hotter, there's a sauna and a steam room and the heated baths, which are divine as you soak in their scented warmth, like a marinating chicken. If you get hungry at the thought of being a marinated chicken, they have an eatery outside as well--just do it when you're done with your spa day though. You'll come out like a shriveled raisin at the end of the day, but a better, nicer, more relaxed shriveled raisin. read more
