I'm glad they survived lockdown, and it seems that they've made improvements with the decorations, lighting, and upgrades to the facility. What I use to do with my traveling group was spend 5 hours of 5 different treatments which would normally include a facial, body massage, foot massage, body scrub, mani/pedi and services includes a complimentary dinner buffet! You can also customize your treatment package. After much debate, I was initially too embarrassed to go all bare, a bit too exposing around my friends. Just give in. When in Rome. Plus everyone is doing it! The korean spa's full-body scrub exfoliation will also leave your skin glowing and incredibly soft. I will warn you that when you receive a body massage, you will get complete body stretching at the end, only to find yourself thrown completely up in the air using all your masseuses body strength! My only disappointment's and surprised that the water in the "Hot Tub" was filled with lukewarm water. Top that off with showers that also had lukewarm water as well. Although you're in a tropical climate country, it's a bit refreshing. some may appreciate it. But for most, you'd like to be in a jacuzzi instead. The funniest moment was that my other half's work colleague recognized him as we were in the dining hall! Such a small world!. Located in Pasay City just off of Roxas Blvd near World Trade Center. Very close to Makati and other popular hotels. Good place to visit this while visiting Manila.

Anywho, it worked out in our favor as our massage was AMAZING. It's definitely a no frills spot, and if you can remove any preconceived notions of the gritty facade and weathered interior, you'd be pleasantly surprised. What a gem. We opted for the one hour body massage and were both blown away by the depth of it. I don't know what style massage that was, but DAMN it was good. A mix in of some chiropractic for sure. I've paid far too much for other massages half the quality. So having never navigated this type of facility before (and limited Tagalog under our belt), the staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. We also received a small sampling of massage oil as well!

Nuat Thai - We were 3 women. 2 of us had strange experiences with men masseuses. One cousin had a lady masseuse and it was ok.

I opted for a man to massage me because they you usually have a firmer stronger grip than women. The tall guy who gave me a massages kept on massaging me on my inner thigh which ends near the private area. I have had many experiences with massages that included weird experiences in China getting an even stranger breast massage from a very pretty Chinese lady and another incident of a woman with high heels. I'm a woman so these were all part of my 'strange' massage stories. Nuat Thai San Lorenzo Mall with that tall very Filipino looking guy was really a maniac. I just wanted to see what type of Swedish massage I'll experience. In other words, I observed. Believed me, when I was breast massaged in China , I felt nothing. Same goes for this fiasco. I firmly believe the guy wanted me to feel aroused. I felt nothing. He laughed when I told him I wanted to fee. Perhaps he thought I was sexually charged. Not at all. It's not easy to get me in the mood. I have to be in-love . A massage is just a way for me to relax, not fulfillment. I have yet to complain. I will soon go back to Makati and make a formal complain. Moreover, the bed sheets and pillow stink, stank, stunk. I also paid for my cousins' massage and one of them found the massage strange (too much butt actions )

Well, across the board, Nuat Thai's biggest claim to fame is really their affordable services, but don't let the price tag fool you into thinking that you won't come out of here feeling revitalized. I'm big on Swedish massages just because they use oils to help calm you down but for a change, I decided to try out the Thai massage to see what all the buzz is about. A pressure point massage that requires a lot of pulling and stepping, it was a whole new world of experiences. No dozing off, the point of the massage is to feel your bodily pains stripped off of you. But while many other spas offer Thai massages, I like the fact that Nuat Thai sends their therapists to Thailand to really train with real Thai masseuses so you shouldn't feel like you're in the wrong hands ever. The place is small and quiet and while it doesn't have the same calming ambience as bigger and more expensive spas, their therapists are courteous enough to ask if you're comfortable throughout your massage which ultimately puts you in a god mood.

We visit to get our massage treatments whenever we visit the Philippines. It is a bit pricier than other places but well worth it with the services they offer. With the new location, they only have private rooms for massages. We snooked the premier suite that comes with steam Bath and shower. Our first treatment was Sea salt body scrub to remove the dead skin. Next we had our choice of massage... had the deep tissue and my wife had the Swedish massage. Boy, they are strong. My back was sore and they were able to relieve some of the stiffness from seating. They told me to come back for another round as my back is still stiff and and need another massage. Last was the Thai foot massage (with stick). That as a bit painful... and it's only painful if there is something wrong. In my case, plenty. lol. Fell asleep as they were working on my right foot. That's always a good sign if you feel so relieved from the massage that you fell asleep. Definitely going back. My body was a little sore after but that's also good sign. They do have a service charge when you first pay your bill but you have an option of adding a little tip esp if you like the service you received.

Besides the fact they opened approximately 10 minutes after the hour (Filipino Time), I was greeted promptly, shown the services, and led directly to the men's locker room. The locker room and showers were nice and comfortable. I was then led to the waiting area for my masseuse(s) and drank this awesome tea that I will never forget. The massage was absolutely perfect. I would definitely go here again when I have the opportunity. Also, this place did not seem to need a reservation. Walk-ins welcome.
