The receptionist informed me over the phone as I booked an appointment that the owner had bought out her shares and the spa was called Oliva Verde Thai Message & Wellness. Despite this shocking revelation, my dad and I decided to give the place a try anyway. In all honestly, management didn't really change much apart from the slightly higher rates compared against Tonton. Service is good and the therapists were polite and skilled, but from a personal perspective, I'd much rather head over to Tonton and save an extra P50/100 on the service.

The partitions are just curtains and they don't have a separate facilities for men and women. While I was having my massage, the guy next to me was snoring so loud! It did not make me relax at all. Also, the therapists shouldn't be allowed to peep into other cubicles to talk with fellow therapists. It disrupts the experience and is quite rude. It's basically a combination of Shiatsu and Swedish massage but concentrates more on your back. They also heat up the oil they use so it really is so quick to drive me to sleep. Every time I get this service, the "lamig" on my back somehow become smaller or have already been smashed. Because Mont Albo is inside SM Supercenter, I suggest you call to reserve before heading there. I've gone 2 or 3 times before and have seen the number of clients they have to accommodate. If you're lucky, you don't have to wait. But when their peak hits, be prepared to wait for an hour for a masseuse to free up. I love Mont Albo in SM Supercenter and I am super glad I finally found a massage station that's relatively near me. I can't wait to go back and get pampered again!
