On the day that I tried their service, it was the end of a typical work day. I was waiting for a meeting and then it began to rain really hard. So, I found myself stuck in Hypermarket. I didn't have much money left and there was no way home due to traffic. That's when I felt my shoulder and back ache. I felt so very tired and all I want to do is to go home and have a good rest. There was nothing else for me to do but walk around and check every shop. That's when I saw this massage place.
I remember just reading each service on the menu while holding my Php200. This is the service that caught my eye: "Express Massage. If you're in need of massage after work but you need to get home fast? Give us 10 minutes of your time to target tired and painful muscles of the head, neck, back, shoulder, lumber area and even your arms and legs! If you're always in a hurry, you deserve this therapy. Php55." With that, I found myself entering the Massage Hut. The receptionist gladly assisted me and I asked how much a 30 minute massage would be (just to test if the price I imagined would be true). The massage would cost me only Php165, sold!
The interior of the spa is very basic. If you're looking for privacy, this is not the right place for you. The partitions are just curtains and they don't have a separate facilities for men and women. While I was having my massage, the guy next to me was snoring so loud! It did not make me relax at all. Also, the therapists shouldn't be allowed to peep into other cubicles to talk with fellow therapists. It disrupts the experience and is quite rude.
The saving grace for me is that the massage was quick and targeted the painful muscles which need attention such as those in your neck, shoulder, back, and legs. :) Would I go back? Only if I'm desperate for a massage. read more
