In any event, I had my first appointment at Overland Park Modern Dentistry on approximately October 9, 2024, and had a great experience. Dr. Sheth and the whole staff were very professional, thorough, and gave me information about costs right up front. I was going to be needing a crown (Dr. Sheth showed me on the xray what was going on and I'm familiar enough with the process to understand) and chose to have the entire process completed two days later. It took less than two hours. I'll definitely be using Overland Park Modern Dentistry as my regular dentist and highly recommend them.

So I was a bit gun shy after having some bad dental experiences and I needed to find someone who could fix the cosmetic nightmare of my two front teeth and also someone I could trust. The location is convenient and I have to mention the color of the walls, it's halfway between peach and melon and it just has an overall "happy" feel to it. My teeth remained free of any dental issues and were cleaned and examined in less than one hour during each visit. Unfortunately, during the third visit the dentist suggested I come in for cleanings every four months instead of every six months because my tartar buildup was considered "moderate." When I scheduled the next appointment for six months later, I was informed the price would increase to $209 for a cleaning with exam - yikes! They charge for an exam with every six month cleaning when other practices require only an annual exam. They also suggest frequent bitewing and pano x-rays. If you have dental insurance that pays for these costs, then you might find this practice to be okay, but I'm not a big fan of their business practices and have switched to a different local dentist. I should have paid more attention to the overall Yelp rating, but I saw some good reviews and the location worked for me. Lesson learned!

I was amazed & ever so grateful. Everyone in her office was super nice and happy to help with any questions. I ended up having to see an oral surgeon but Dr Casey & her staff made all the arrangements right then and there and had me set up with a surgeon within a couple of days.
