First, a little background: Reis dealt with the funeral for a friend/acquaintance back in 2010, so I knew that their work was professional and lovely (though, if I'm being honest, not a service I actually saw myself needing from this geographic area), so when my father unexpectedly died of cancer in August '23 and one of my brothers asked if I knew of any mortuaries in the area, this business popped into my head. The person I dealt with when I came in to collect his cremains saw me on one of the lowest, weirdest, most uncomfortable days of my life, and she somehow managed to avoid making it feel like an awkward ritual, and for that, I'm so, so grateful.

I also want to complement the make up artist for the amazing job she did making my dad look like himself. I highly recommend Reis.

Highly Recommend... when my husband passed away we called 4 different cremation services and…read moremortuaries and they all wanted us to come in and would not give us any information over the phone or they were ridiculously expensive. Blue Sky was the only one that did not insist on us coming in (the rest just wanted us to pick out the urn there and charge us an arm and a leg) and gave us all the information we needed over the phone. They were professional and compassionate people. I procrastinated on getting an urn and they were very patient and told me to take my time and when I finally picked up the ashes (they would have delivered but I took mason jars for them to fill also for spreading) I brought the jars and they kindly asked how much I wanted in each jar and accommodated me getting the permits needed to carry one on a plane in a very speedy manner. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for a cremation service.

I didn't have an appointment or call ahead and instead, walked right in when I unexpectedly needed a mortuary service. Moments later he joined us in his office and walked us through our options very calmly and showed deep empathy all the way through. Bill was knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and personable.
