    Impressive play structure
    Angela M.

We were killing time until all the restaurants opened for brunch, and stopping in one store had resulted in a mandatory purchase, so the playground was the perfect spot. There are 2 play structures in separate fenced areas so that the big kids don't hurt the little kids and the little kids aren't tempted by the taller, more challenging structures. There's also a spinning thing and some swings in the big kid area. The ground is mulched. There are picnic tables in the shade just outside the larger play space. Only downside is no shade - you'll have to hide under the larger structure to escape if you're avoiding the rays like me!

Relatively easy hiking trail to a waterfall in the Cherry Log/Blue Ridge area. Kids as young as 3…read morecan walk the trail. It's a pretty short trail to the waterfall approximately 1/2 mile. The cell service is poor getting to the trail so map it out before hand. Along the trail you will see a Glamping camp, which is very cute. Definitely would recommend as a family outing.

I was finally able to get some lite hiking in. Fall Branch Falls was the perfect trail to get back…read moreinto it. All the Yelp Reviews are pretty spot on and all agree. A nice moderate trail deep in the woods, which I liked because the shade kept everything a little cooler. The trail is very easy to follow and not overly long. Caution needs to be taken as there are many tree roots extending above the ground and could easily cause a trip. Careful is key. A rise in elevation of approximately 300 feet over half a mile makes it a decent cardio walk. With many different trees, plants and flowers along the way. All culminating with a beautiful waterfall. Note: depending on the season and amount of rain will determine the amount of water coming over the falls. Two minor items that need to be corrected. 1. Yelp has the wrong address (or pin drop) I'm not sure which. Not even close. 6 more miles down a gravel road to be exact. I'll try and fix that. 2. Not one sign or directional indicating you're are heading in the right direction. But other than that a very enjoyable experience.

There's even a little park area for the kids and it's actually really nice and well maintained. Highly REC this place if you live here or visiting like us! The guy at the front (horrible with names starts with a S) is super friendly and made it even more enjoyable. Stop in and say hi and shop around. A little nick nack for anyone

Honestly if I hadn't googled it I thought it was just someone displaying their art. So after googling, we decided to make a stop and boy was it fun to walk around the property! It is much bigger then what you see driving by. My grandkids would have enjoyed all of the metal art pieces and I had a blast walking around and even found a treasure to take home. I wish I could have taken that Cedar Lion but it doesn't fit in the jeep. Only reason I didn't give it a five was I felt they should have shipping options ready, more small options, and a place to sit and maybe have a snack, simple meal and coffee or drinks. Prices on some items seemed too high, most fairly priced. Again for tourists getting items home that are large is an issue and I'd recommend the owners looking into options for their customers instead of customers needing to find a way.
